    Great show!

by Frankie1021 on 6/5/15Oriental Theatre Chicago - Chicago

The actors did such a good job portraying the lives of Gloria and Emilio Estefan. It was opening night and we had the opportunity to meet the real Gloria and Estefan who were there. They are so humble and did not act like mega stars. They were willing to shake everyone's hands and take pictures. They didn't even have to sit in the front rows. Meeting them was the highlight of the show. The show itself was well choreographed and the actors coming out into the audience singing and dancing was a lot of fun!

This was the first night of previews and we were excited to see Gloria and Emilio in the audience. The screenplay was done very nicely; blending different timeframes of their life seamlessly. The actors and music were great. Seemed like it was the real thing. I would definitely recommend seeing this play. A beautiful story and great music! I think it will do well and so glad Chicago got the premiere.

ON YOUR FEET - So much better than expected!

by Adventuress on 6/5/15Oriental Theatre Chicago - Chicago

I thought there might be minor mistakes by the cast because of opening night jitters, but it was all smooth as silk. A wonderful variety of Gloria's songs with a wonderful cast. There were some very funny lines as well. It was all so well done!!

    Great Cuban storyline

by Cubano31 on 6/5/15Oriental Theatre Chicago - Chicago

The show was great! It really depicted the life struggles of the displaced Cubanos. I was fortunate enough to take my mother to the show, several times during the show I noticed her tearing up in her eyes as it hit home with her! Good for Emilio and Gloria to be able to tell their story with many, as many experienced what they did, they just don't have the fame to be able to tell it.

On Your Feet is a winner

by BJVK on 6/5/15Oriental Theatre Chicago - Chicago

We went to On Your Feet as Jerry Mitchell fans. It was spectacular. We laughed, cried, and cheered. When it was over I asked my son if he liked it as much as Kinky Boots. He said, "Better!" All the characters were amazing, including that young boy! Wow!
