An incredibly exciting final game that really capped a wonderful season. I grew up on American football and baseball, but rugby is now my favorite sport. It's so great to have Old Glory DC as our local team. Every match is exciting.
Loved every minute of this rugby experience. Exciting game, great venue, good food and beverage offerings. Will be back, no doubt.
The explosiveness of the rugby game I saw cannot be understated. I’ve seen old glory play several times, I’ve watch them loose by a good deal to NOLA Gold and then lose to them again by the skin of their teeth. And I’ve watched them CRUSH Toronto. But the game I saw against rugby New York was a violent and fast paced spectacle like I’ve never seen. I cheered until my throat was sore. I sat on the edge of my seat for half the game. The thrill of this sport is incredible and Old Glory is deserving of it. If I could give 6 stars I would.
Easy to find and park, plenty of beer vendors, warm and clean bathrooms. You REALLY need to have more coffee available if you are going to play in the freezing cold weather. First of all, we couldn't even find normal coffee, all we could find was espresso shots or hot chocolate. Secondly, and by bar the worst, my brother missed THIRTY MINUTES of the game in line for a warm drink. Went down at halftime and didn't get back to his seat until there was only 10 minutes left. Straight up unacceptable there. Also, while the live band was a cool touch, you then need to announce that halftime is over. There's no way to tell the game is restarting when the PA doesn't play in the food and drink area.
Tickets a bit on the expensive side but worth it. Nice stadium and comfortable seats.
Need more than one tiny score board. Commentators are important. I think you can find an announcer with a higher rugby IQ. Scottish, Irish or English accent would be great. Bathrooms on both sides of the stadium.
