It was fantastic!! We loved it! It was very cool! They made us agents!!
My daughters (10 and 7) enjoyed the show. However, both prefer the tv show to the live show. I will not purchase tickets for this kind of event again. The event was marketed in a tricky way. I thought I was purchasing tickets to a show that reflected the tv characters. However, this is just a low-budget mediocre adaptation of the real thing.
The show was amazing. Our kids, 4 and 2 years old were engaged the entire time, which is amazing in itself! The actors were great! Bryan Black, Father Time, is an incredible talent; triple threat! I would recommend this show to anyone interested in a very fun family event.
I had only seen Odd Squad a couple of times before we took kids aged 5, 8, and 9 to the live show. It was a ton of fun, very interactive, and was something we adults actually enjoyed as well! Would definitely recommend! :)
Excellent! Parents loved it as much as the kids! Want to see it again!
Terrible waste of $175. The show only had 5 people was horrible
This was based on the kids show from PBS, and although there were technically none of the kids from the show in the play, it was still overall a great time for adults and kids alike. The cast and music all sounded great, and there were some fun crowd participaticon moments throughout the show. The video wall was a nice touch, and the sound was crystal clear. The audience was having fun, and there were some pretty funny moments through the show (sandiwich hands!) . I'd recommend this to anyone who has kids ages 3-10, especially if they are fans of the show. A truly fun time for the whole family. Thanks!
The show was good but not great. Mostly, the sound quality was bad. I don't know if it was because of the people or the venue but I couldn't hear what anyone was saying. It was booming and whoever was doing sound was horrible at it. I manage sound at my church and I could've done a better job if I sat behind the sound booth. I couldn't hear anything and everything was mumbled. Fortunately, kids don't care what comes out of people's mouths and they only watch for the wow effect. In that sense, it was pretty good and my kid enjoyed it.
Our son was very jazzed up about seeing his favorite PBS show live. I had warned him that it would very likely not be the same kids from the show. But what I didn't anticipate is that there were no kids at all in the cast, only adults. He spent the first 10 min of the show asking 'WHERE IS THE ODD SQUAD?!!!" Luckily, the plot was clever and the show was fun, so he got over that disappointment and enjoyed it. But would have been better to know that in advance and prepare him.
My daughter enjoyed it even though it had a lot more singing than the show we are used to watching.
