This show is definitely not what my family and I expected, I anticipated a more elaborate story with better cast. Scenography was cheep

It was too short. Overpriced. Special effects sucked.

A lot of fun for kids. Not all that educational, but a really good time. Cool music. Sound check rocks! Get aisle seats and the cast might ask you for help with the gadgets!!

    8 year old loved it

    by DanT19 on 1/21/17Hershey Theatre - Hershey

My wife and I took our 8-year-old son to see Odd Squad Live. We were certainly all entertained, although it was a little disappointing that the actors were all adults, since the show is almost entirely children. We realized, and prepared our son for the fact, that none of the actors from the TV show would be touring with the show, so he should not expect to see anyone he "knows." Even so, it was a little weird that there were no kids in the show. All in all, though, it was a fun experience. If your kid loves Odd Squad, they'll love Odd Squad Live.

Lackluster attempt at a great TV show

by JenEliz on 1/10/17Hershey Theatre - Hershey

They really should've kept Odd Squad just to TV. Despite amazing actors who did an awesome job, the show felt lacking from its television counterpart and didn't keep the kid's attention like another TV-to-Stage PBS production we saw last year. Also, the show relies on a projection screen at the back of the stage, but has a frame around the top and sides of the stage, so if you are in the balcony or on the sides, your view could be partially or fully obstructed.

    Great cast

Fun show for kids. And even enjoyable for adults. Cast was great. Interaction was appropriate.

    Fun, but not a must-see

    by MichiganMomof5 on 1/10/17Hershey Theatre - Hershey

It's tough to turn a TV Show into compelling theater. None of the TV actors are live on stage. Despite that, my kids enjoyed it. They thought it was funny and they enjoyed the audience participation.

    Awesome venue, good show

by MikeRam71 on 12/13/16Florida Theatre Jacksonville - Jacksonville

The folks at the venue were just awesome, nice and very helpful. The historic venue, just wow. The Odd Squad show was very entertaining, for all ages. A bit of a let down that no actual character from TV was present, but hey, it was still very well done and worth taking the family to.

    Not what I expected :(

by EmotionalFan on 11/30/16Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

I thought it would have at least ONE of the characters from the actual show and that is why I bought meet and greet tickets. My son was excited thinking he would see an actual odd squad agent but was sorely disappointed that there is not one child in this show!!! It is an all adults cast spinning off the odd squad show. It was a real let down if you are expecting to see kids being odd squad live.

    meh

by Anonymous on 11/30/16Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

No kids in a kids show - our kids noticed that and thought it was lame. Really sloppy story, obviously written to avoid having to tour with child actors. And most of the great aspects of the TV show were missing. Overall a very weak live interpretation of a great kids show. Stay home and watch it instead.

    Not what I expected

by MicheleNJ on 11/30/16Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

The Odd Squad live does not have any TV actors in the flesh. The TV characters are displayed on a giant screen. The stage actors are not from the TV show. The storyline is the new agents from TV are transported to the town where the show is performing and turned into adults. If your an adult you can't be an Odd Squad agent. This would be good for kids under 7. It has singing and comedy and some audience interaction. We sat in the balcony the actors came into the audience right in front of the stage. It's 90 minutes with an intermission.

This show was even better than expected. Audience involvement and a real "Odd Squad" experience. There were no actual children in the production but they handled it well. Lots of energy and a fun evening out.

Odd Squad Live: like the show, only with adults!

by BoyMama3 on 11/23/16Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

There should have absolutely been a disclaimer that this show was performed by adult actors and there were zero children in it. It was odd and not in a good way. My boys followed along, but made comments about how no one in the show was from "real Odd Squad". Definitely expected more, especially given the price of the tickets. It was akin to an off-Broadway show. Disappointed but the kids enjoyed it, and my husband and I exposed them to the arts. We brought along our 2.5 year old, and he was scared throughout most of the show.

    Fantastic Show!

by NCJenNC on 11/18/16DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

We took our 8 and 4 year old daughters and we all had a blast! The music was so fun - they had everyone up and dancing in the rows. I will definitely recommend this show to anyone who is an Odd Squad fan.

    The kids loved it!

by dscottyg on 11/15/16Florida Theatre Jacksonville - Jacksonville

Overall, the kids (ages 6 and 8) said they loved the show and were singing the songs on the way back to the car. One downside is that we were in the balcony and several scenes took place off the stage, on the floor under us, so we couldn't see those scenes. Also, I'm not sure why the actors portrayed made up Odd Squad characters that aren't from the TV show instead of having them play Olive and Otto, which I think would've been much better. Lastly, the sound was bad. Hard to tell what they were saying and singing much of the time. Kind of muffled and echoed.

    it was ok..

by HKCL on 11/15/16Florida Theatre Jacksonville - Jacksonville

It was ok, wasn't the best show but it was something to do. Glad I got a sale on the tickets when I purchased them. Wouldn't have been happy if paid full price

    ODD SQUAD showed out!

by Worldsbestgrandma on 11/15/16Florida Theatre Jacksonville - Jacksonville

It was a good show, however, I ended up paying high dollar for front row seats for my babes while I sat in the back. Theirs $35 mine $18 ..because of lack of people showing up I ended up sitting up close anyway. They were disapointed that there were no KIDS in the show. They , like me, want to see what they see on the television. The REAL DEAL. But once the show got into motion and there was interaction with the audience I think they kinda forgot about it. Still........you want to get what you expect. It was cute, it wasn't too long and the singing and dancing was. I'd bring the price down in seats though. $150 for an hour and half entertainments kinda steep, which would explain why it wasn't full maybe.

    Not like the show

by WDTT on 11/15/16Florida Theatre Jacksonville - Jacksonville

My boys love watching the Odd Squad tv show! Unfortunately, the live show didn't follow much of the show format at all. At times, you couldn't hear exactly what the actors were saying/singing and we were in the 3rd row!! The concept of the host doesn't flow with the tv show and confused my boys. Unknown agents and villains didn't help either!
