Got to the fair early and parking was lite going in was quick and easy lines were very reasonable what little food we ate we enjoyed watched a few bands and visited with the animals watched the the pigs race.and then called it a day.
OC FAIRs website & Ticketmaster, allowed me to purchase 2 tix for Saturday 8/12/2023. When i was redirected to Ticketmaster to complete the purchase, I received a notification confirming my purchase. However, once we arrived at the entry gate, we were told the tickets were for Sunday 8/13/2023. I requested a Supervisor, showed him the email comfirmation. The solution, 2 new tickets had to be purchased and my original purchase was a loss.

I found myself wondering why there weren’t more people there, considering all tickets were “sold out.” And, being older folks, we would enjoy seeing more displays and contest results—with a better map to locate them. There seemed to be lots of rides, including three Ferris wheels. To be very, very honest, we found the L.A. County Fair to be more satisfying. But O.C. is my home, and I wish the BEST for our fair.
The food wasn’t good “fair” food. It was very limited. Grounds were not kept. The exhibits were so few and limited.
My daughter and I went for the first time. Ticket entry and parking prices were decent. Food and drinks were a bit pricey. I was disappointed on the amount of tickets they give one for the price to play games and or get on the rides. I hope next year the OC Fair will do better on that. They have a lot of vendors, music and art gallery was a nice touch. We didn’t get to go to the Kids zone side this time but looking forward to taking my little boy next year.
I enjoy the OC Fair it was a lot easier to navigate. Family friendly and everyone was super nice. I wish the price of the Turkey leg wasn’t so high. Parking was easy and I plan on going earlier next year.
The concerts and local bands were phenomenal. The shops had Everything you could imagine and MORE !!! The food choices alone took all day to sample the varieties... And lastly, we had to see our 🐷 Piggies and pet the cows, bunnies and sheep... We look forward to this Family Fun Friendly Event EVERY year and are sad when it ends.... Better to buy tickets online because I didn’t have to wait in line it was quick and efficient
It was way to crowded beyond measure and parking was miles away because the fair grounds parking was full, way worse than LA County Fair!
I really enjoy everything there the food was delicious the games were really fun the giant slide was really fun all of all I enjoyed the fair
The more money you spend, the more obvious fun you will have. Tickets in my opinion were a bit too costly especially for one ride slingshot.
Long story short we arrived at 6 parking took us about 2 hours. The food is so overpriced and is so bad. LA fair could never.
I was not allowed to download my tickets and had to go to willcall after I got to the fair. There was no "wil call"sign and had to ask 2 people where to go. Finally, I located an open window and was helped by a very personable attendant who quickly checked my drivers license, put in info and printed the tickets. But it was still aggravating.
The Orange County fair is an annual tradition. I went twice this year and both days were so fun. The food really hit the spot and there was plenty to see. The rides were plentiful and the vibe on the midway was full of energy and bright lights. Thanks for another summer of fun!
Again parking sucks! You need to get with OCTA and use the shuttles.
It was my first and last time at the OC Fair. The reason is that everything in the fair seems to be overpriced, but I think it would be the same as the other Fairs where prices tend to be more expensive.
My family and I really enjoyed the fair especially the grandbabies however the rides required too many tickets for a family five to go on any ride required 9 tickets each that is $45.00 for a ride that lasted less than 30 minutes. Having spent about 7hours in the park we left because we didn't want to be broke and the games were such that there was no chance to win any large plushy stuffed animals. An enjoyable day out but very pricey.
The orange county fair is a great family outing. There are a lot of rides and games that kids can participate in. The animals are cute and cuddly and the pig races are hilarious. The only downside is the food and beverage. If they can make that a little more reasonable Family day would be great. It gets a little more intense in the evening with more young adults present. Tempers start flaring especially when alcohol is involved. Keep the young ones during the day and they will have a fantastic time.
