by Every show is amazing! on 9/7/24McGrath Amphitheatre - Cedar RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

My husband and I love O.A.R! We just saw them at Red Rock and then we saw them close to home in Cedar Rapids a few weeks later and both shows were completely different but both so good! I love that each show is different. I absolutely love when Lamps is with them, he’s a full vibe! I really hope to see them continue as headliners, such a good band!!

  • All about the music, no gimmicks

by Sarah J on 9/7/24McGrath Amphitheatre - Cedar RapidsRating: 5 out of 5

It’s really refreshing to go to a show and be 100% entertained solely on the music and the quality of the performance. No gimmicks, no pyrotechnics, just great live music by amazing artists and a good crowd. Love it when everybody throws the card decks up in the air for “That Was a Crazy Game of Poker”!

  • Favorite Band

by Hutthut on 9/5/24Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

My first OAR concert was before 2014. If I knew I’d become such a big fan, I would have paid attention to “my first.” My family and friends know all about my favorite band. The concert was amazing. Entry, seating, assistance, and venue was great. The pacing of the concert was excellent and kept us on our feet the whole time. Marc gave his all and the band works hard on keeping it original. I have become a fan of Jon Lampley because of all he gives. He is so entertaining and encouraging to band mates and audience. My second favorite band is Huntertones after “hunting” Lamps down when I saw him at OAR’s Mighty tour. My review of Ticketmaster less than 1 star due to all the price gouging. I truly hope the musicians get paid in proportion. The musicians are priceless. Ticketmaster is not. Also, who gets the profit off $18 beers?!?! They get warm before you finish them!!

  • WOW! What a SHOW!

by JC on 9/3/24Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

From the first song to the last, O.A.R. had the crowd on their feet and singing along. This is our 3rd time seeing the band in Indianapolis (Everwise is an incredible venue as well). Can't wait to see O.A.R. in Ocean City and back in Indy next summer.

  • OAR Brought It to Indy

by Hemmdog on 9/3/24Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

We have been to every concert OAR has performed in the Indianapolis area the past 10 years and this was by far their best show!! The song selection and set list was superb and their energy was just as impressive!! I loved that they played for just over two hours!! We didn’t want the night to end!!

  • Incredible experience

by Jeff R on 9/3/24Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

These guys are incredible. They have an incredible catalogue that spans over two decades. They bring so much energy to every show that it’s impossible not to love every second. We never miss them when they come to Indy. Amazing experience.

  • Loved it!

by Jill M on 9/3/24Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Great show! Loved their energy, and the venue. My friends and I had a great time! The sound quality wasn’t the best, but otherwise it was a great experience.

  • reminds me of shows 10 years ago

by spurg on 9/3/24Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The last couple times we have seen them I felt it was a bit slower. Sat nights show was one of the best I have seen from OAR. It was loud, exciting and memorable! Great job by all the guys and the crowd was loving it. 1st time at everwise and I was very impressed with the venue!!

My first time seeing O.A.R. Was so worth the wait.! They played every song i wanted to hear except for 2. I couldn’t have been more pleased. The crowd was friendly and mostly good vibes! Can’t wait to see them again!

  • Awesome

Fitz/OAR on their game! Sound/Accoustics were outstanding

  • Just not the same

by Kelly on 8/30/24Artpark Outdoor Amphitheater - LewistonRating: 2 out of 5

I've been going to OAR shows for almost 20 years and I've always loved them. I haven't been to one of their shows in a couple of years but I figured it'd be the same as it always has been. My absolute favorite song is "This Town"which is popular amongst most fans. It's the only song I definitely wanted to hear but they didn't play it this time. I was dumbfounded and thoroughly disappointed. Instead, they filled half of the show with new songs that no one seemed to know. One new song was particularly awful, they brought in a DJ who had an annoying, excessively long scratch solo. Their new material is such a departure from their older songs and I don't know why they've gone in that direction but I'm not a fan. In the future, I will not be spending my money on a show that I won't enjoy 50% of.

  • Amazing performance

by Nicole on 8/30/24Artpark Outdoor Amphitheater - LewistonRating: 5 out of 5

Took my kids To their first ticketed concert. They love OAR & it was a great experience for all of us! Can’t wait for the next show!

  • Good concert but location was a miss

by Big Irish on 8/30/24Artpark Outdoor Amphitheater - LewistonRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was good but the venue left me trying to figure out how they can stay in business. Super long lines, rolling hills on the grounds make it hard to see the show. If I wanted to watch it on a screen I would have stayed home.

  • Awesome show!

    by NurseMom14 on 8/30/24Artpark Outdoor Amphitheater - LewistonRating: 5 out of 5

OAR at Artpark, Lewiston, NY was awesome! The band was on 🔥, the venue is beautiful and the energy was amazing!

  • A puzzling, weird mix

    by 1FunGurl on 8/28/24Arizona Financial Theatre - PhoenixRating: 2 out of 5

I write this as a decades long fan. I have been to dozens of O.A.R. shows. Yes, I do like to dance and sing along. The fusion with DJ Logic was odd, for me, at an OAR show.. It didn’t help that the audio sounded garbled from where I sat in the Club Level (the name is sexier than it is). I could barely understand anything that Marc said. Of course, many who read this will realize I am O.A.E. (Of Another Era), haha.

  • Fantastic

by Jess on 8/28/24Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

Both OAR and Fitz and the Tantrums were fantastic. They kept the crowd engaged and enthusiastic.

  • Incredible Vibes and Show

by TheGaterMan on 8/28/24Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill - Sterling HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

The venue is perfect and the crowd showed for O.A.R. The show itself was incredible and worth the price of admission. O.A.R being the head liner made it even better.

  • Side Stage Experience and more.... show #65

by Chad Chad on 8/27/24BankNH Pavilion - GilfordRating: 5 out of 5

I had the pleasure of seeing my 65th OAR show side stage, and is was totally worth the $450. I bought the same package last year for the same price when they opened up for Goo Goo Dolls. The better part about last year was that you were literally less than 10 feet away from Benj, the bassist. This year we were held behind a barrier about 30 feet from the band. On the upside this year, OAR was headlining which meant seeing them for 90min-ish instead of just an hour. The band brings so much energy to every show, and unlike a lot of bands who use the same set list in the same order every show (*cough* TRAIN *cough*), they bring a different unique set to every show they play. They also bring new versions of their studio music to the live stage, making it more entertaining and exciting to watch. The band loves to feel the energy from the crowd, and the lead singer, Marc, even called up a 2nd grade girl with a sign to come onto the stage which was so nice of them. They are a live band who takes passion in their shows, wanting to bring the best energy to the crowd they can. They play their music with such energy, you can't help but dance or jump to your favorite lines. After the show, most of the band came over to us at the side stage and shook our hands, thanking us for coming to their show. Two of the best additions to their live show is Mikel Paris and John Lampley. Both of these musicians are very talented and make great additions to the already amazing sounding band. Mikel Paris is such a humble man, and takes time to talk to fans before the show, and spread the good music to fans via his weekly live show online. The most recent addition, John Lampley, brings his fun stage presence and beautiful trumpet solos to the show. It's too bad he can't be at all of the shows, so fans should appreciate when he's there. OAR also collaborated with DJ Logic and Nashua, NH's Brad _____? to the stage for a couple songs. They kept the new songs down to a few, and dove deep into their Discography, playing music from all of their albums. It was an unforgettable experience and I encourage any live music fan to see them at least once.
