OAR was on fire! Outstanding performance! They sounded great and it was everything we were hoping to see from them; just like when we first started going to their concerts. Thank you!
O.A.R was PHENOMENAL. Beyond anything we expected or imagined. Seriously one of the best concerts I've ever seen. Every band member is incredible!! Thank you for bringing everything you had to create such a fantastic experience for your fans!!
First time at the Merriweather Post Pavilion and first time seeing O.A.R. Went to see GooGooDolls, which were awesome as always. Only stayed for a few songs of O.A.R., but thought they were great player. Goo Goo Dolls opened and put on an amazing show. Love these guys.
This was my very first concert in Maryland and I really enjoyed it
Absolutely fantastic show at Merriweather. One of the best concerts I've ever seen......energy, connection. Marc was on point and the band did not disappoint....the brass was incredible.
O.A.R. opened for Goo Goo Dolls in Simpsonville, SC and were awesome! Sound was mixed perfectly - not too loud, not too much bass or overpowering drums, good volume on vocals. Just fun music, good energy, excellent musicians. First time seeing them and would definitely go see them again. I liked the little stories/intros to songs, too.
I’d never heard of Cory Wong but they gained a new fan! What an amazing jam band to open for the ultimate jam band, OAR. Truly an amazing show at a really cool venue
Awesome show! Great acoustics Fast line to get in. Large clean bathrooms with no lines
What can I say? OAR always put on a great performance. Lots of energy. Great setlist. I look forward to seeing them again.
I didn’t care for the opening band, i can see them for free at my local bar. OAR put on a great show as usual! I was very happy they opened with my favorite song 52-50 Balcony seats were good and there is a bar upstairs. No line for drinks
OAR was amazing as always. I'd never seen 311 but they put on a lively and fun show. But this venue screwed over people who bought tickets in advance. First of all the ticket prices were about twice as high as the highest price I normally pay for a show like this. But I thought it was worth it because I was able to snag a FRONT ROW seat! Right in the center, too - very sweet seat, I thought. I looked forward to this for many months. I would have bought a pit ticket to be right up on the rail closest to the band, as I normally do, but the pit was not open and it appeared that they would not be selling tickets for the pit. That is until the DAY OF the show. Apparently at the last minute they put the pit on sale for HALF the price I paid for my ticket! Suddenly there were all these people in front of me and my "front row" seat was just somewhere in the middle of the crowd. Others in my row and me were PISSED, but there was nothing we could do. I know others who found out about the pit tickets and bought a second ticket for the pit even though they already had an overpriced ticket for a seat. (Who cares about a seat? No one sits at rock concerts.) I also heard that since they had not sold all the last minute pit tickets they even started giving away the wristbands to random people to get into the pit! I cannot even express how infuriated I am by this whole experience. They took something that was supposed to be a special event that I splurged on and looked forward to into a very disappointing evening. I still enjoyed the bands, but it was not at all what I thought I was paying for.
Venue is very misleading when purchasing tickets. They make it seem like all the different sections have some sort of elevation with the lawn area up top but it’s not like that at all. We had the 3 front row seats of section 106 and couldn’t really enjoy the show due to random people without seats coming and standing in the walk way right in front of us.
311 was great. i thought they’d be the main act and perform last, but they were second. 311 was amazing. i don’t know oar but they were alright and tropaddlic was super good also. i loved it
Venue was great for smaller shows. $10 for 12 ounce beers is pretty steep but overall great experience. Will definitely attend again.
The audio engineers didn't aim the PA toward either balcony AT ALL. Neglecting 2 levels of balcony seating that people paid to have seats for is unacceptable in my opinion. They did this at multiple venues and seems to be purposeful. Ended up standing on the lawn for the show where the audio quality was better.
The band was engaging and high energy keeping the audience wanting more. The venue has no bad seats so everyone in attendance can see and hear the amazing music being performed. The closing finale with Dispatch and OAR was one of the best we have ever seen. The music produced by these talented musical artist was absolutely wonderful to witness.
We really enjoyed the OAR concert. The performance was on point and seats were amazing. Not sure if sitting in the lawn area would have been as good since being up close we could see the musicians, their expressions, and energy, but with where our seats were, it was fantastic.
This was our first time seeing OAR. We've heard so many good things but thats just not what we saw. The band just seemed to phone it in. They played each song, almost like it was a practice. Not much energy, very robotic and dull. They're nearing the end of the tour so maybe they're tired of performing? Not sure, i just wish they would have put on a better show for the Wilmington crowd.
This collaboration with G. Love, Dispatch and OAR was nothing short of incredible. A show I will see 100 times over again. The crowd was amazing, the energy was amazing, and the music was like no other!
