About

Formed in 1996, O.A.R. are an alternative rock band from Rockville, Maryland. Starting with their 1997 debut album The Wanderer, O.A.R. have released 10 studio albums and seven live albums. In 2005, O.A.R. released Stories of a Stranger, their first of four consecutive Top 40 albums on the Billboard 200 and led by the RIAA gold-certified single “Love and Memories.” The band’s 2008 followup All Sides contains O.A.R.’s highest-charting Hot 100 single “Shattered (Turn the Car Around),” which was later certified platinum, while 2014’s The Rockville LP boasted the band’s third gold single “Peace.” Known for their rigorous touring schedule, O.A.R. have also pursued charitable initiatives through their Heard The World Fund, founded by the band in 2006.

    Set list was amazing! Opened with City on Down which is one of the best opening songs you can have. From that moment on, it was energy and singing from the band and the crowd. Can't wait to see then at Red Rocks in a couple weeks!

    We have seen O.A.R., I believe, 4 times. I have lost count, besides one got rained out. O.A.R. knows how to rock it out with the live music and solos. The horn back up was sublime. You could tell they were having a blast. The band's songwriting is amazing. Marc lets the music speak, rather than him. He humbly shares the stage with his band. I've never met him, but would love to because of his stage presence and his messages in his writing. I like this venue because it's laid back and relaxing, or you can be up front and dance away. You can bring food in as long as it's in a ziplock bag. The beer is crazy expensive-$12! Comfy chairs are provided. My only negative is, by the request of the band, we couldn't have tops to the water bottles. It was explained that people were throwing them on stage and even hit a band member. I figured it out how to keep the water bottles situated. It was a hot summer night and we needed the water. It's a shame stupid people cause silly rules. Nonetheless, it was a five star night! We had a fantastic evening! Music is good medicine for the mind and spirit! I feel good after an evening with O.A.R! Until next year....

    OAR did not disappoint, love their music and first time seeing them in concert, I hope they continue to tour our area as we’ll definitely go to see them again. Their playlist was great and they played for almost 2 hours! Great concert! Matt Nathanson was a great opening act as well!

    O.A.R. concert was great and the Promenade Park renovation is a great addition to Toledo. There is plenty of space to watch an outdoor concert, to walk around and food trucks along the street are great.. They need to work on the way they sell beer tickets, the beer trucks, and the amount of portable restrooms.
