  • O.A.R/Matt Nathanson at Mystic Lake

by MPLSjjs on 9/11/18Mystic Amphitheater - Prior LakeRating: 5 out of 5

Great concert! O.A.R. was the best I’ve ever heard them! Matt Nathanson was great also, if he ever gives up singing, he should be a standup comedian! I apologize for forgetting the name of the opening act, but they were delightful!

  • I LOVE O.A.R

by Anonymous on 9/11/18Mystic Amphitheater - Prior LakeRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing songs, sooo much talent and overall the most attractive band ever!

  • Good sound, but...

    by Markus47 on 9/10/18Mystic Amphitheater - Prior LakeRating: 4 out of 5

The event was well staged. MYSTIC Lake has their act together to alleviate traffic. Sound quality was clear even in amphitheatre seats. Only complaint was some folks were clearly overserved alcohol and were a bit obnoxious.

  • OAR Still Rocks!

    by JO66KG on 9/10/18Mystic Amphitheater - Prior LakeRating: 5 out of 5

OAR was amazing! Highly recommend! Matt Nathanson was awful though! Besides that the show was the best I’ve been to in a very long time!

  • OAR puts on an awesome show

  • Matthew Nathanson with guest stars OAR

    by Jake327 on 9/10/18Mystic Amphitheater - Prior LakeRating: 3 out of 5

We arrived just as the first band was finishing their set, so can't really give an honest review. Matthew Nathanson was amazing. Extremely interactive with the crowd, and was obviously enjoying what he did. He tied in a greater meaning to the music. His music had a message that we weren't expecting, but were very pleasantly surprised by. Loved his set, humor and singing harmony with the audiance. He didn't just interact with us, we were a required part of his set. It was the best experience I have had at a concert in that respect. O.A.R. however, was a disappoint. We stayed for about 6 OAR songs. Maybe Marc was missing his family, maybe he was high. Whatever the case, he did not "bring it" like Matthew Nathanson. My wife and I were bnb on our first date in over 2 years, and we left after they played and underwhelmed version of their hit - Shattered. OAR was ridiculously loud. We had to move back to hear what the songs were. I've heard of nose the bleed section, but never considered the term ear bleed section. Anyhow, we got to our car, which was about a half mile away, and from there we could have had more enjoyable experience, but couldn't see anything of the performance. OAR was rushing through their set there were only a couple seconds between each song, honestly it felt like they were just "coasting" on their fame. We decided it was better to just head back to my sister-in-laws house where our kids were, and go to bed. Dreaming was more entertaining than OAR, and we don't have to buy tickets for that. In summary, thank you Matthew Nathanson for the great concert. Marc, and by extension OAR, Im sure you know you could have done better, thank you for singing some songs you made famous. I heard Black Rock through Home.

  • Fantastic night!!!

by jaspersmom23 on 9/3/18Stir Concert Cove-Harrah's Council Bluffs Casino & Hotel - Council BluffsRating: 5 out of 5

This was our first event at Stir Cove. We were very impressed by the venue and would definitely go back. We were also impressed by the fact that we paid around $40 a ticket and got 4 hours of music. We went for Matt Nathanson, the opener, and as usual he didn’t disappoint. O.A.R. was awesome and we’d definitely see them again. All in all, it was an amazing night.

  • O.A.R.,Nathanson & New Respect were all amazing!!

by OhioandKUmom on 9/3/18Stir Concert Cove-Harrah's Council Bluffs Casino & Hotel - Council BluffsRating: 5 out of 5

The whole night was perfect, cool breeze and absolutely loved the opening band!! It just kept getting better, absolutely loved Matt Nathanson, what a dreamy voice he has!!! Then O.A.R., I was totally mesmerized by the trumpet player, from his entertaining dancing and getting into the music to his awesome trumpet playing. Holy Cow!!! They were all great, but so enjoyed the trumpet and sax. First time seeing O.A.R., and now I see why my son has traveled to see them 5-6 times and has a zillion of there t-shirts. Thank you for the experience and perfect timing at the end, got to hear Crazy Game of Poker before the thunderstorm let loose.

  • OAR at its FINEST!

by OARlove on 9/3/18Stir Concert Cove-Harrah's Council Bluffs Casino & Hotel - Council BluffsRating: 5 out of 5

Having gone to over 16 O.A.R. concerts, this ranks in the top 3 along with Red Rocks! The energy level and song setlist was incredible! Hoping for a repeat performance this Sunday at Red Rocks!

  • Love Stir Cove

by 83118Concert on 9/3/18Stir Concert Cove-Harrah's Council Bluffs Casino & Hotel - Council BluffsRating: 5 out of 5

I HAD A REMARKABLE TIME AT THE VENUE....THE SHOW WAS UNBELIEVABLE....WOW THATS AMAZING

  • OAR seemed rushed

by Anonymous on 9/2/18Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 4 out of 5

Since they had to come back due to the initial concert was rained out. They appeared rushed and it felt as if they wanted to get in / get out. Otherwise, they are one of my favorite bands. I loved every song and would see them again. Fingers crossed they would return and crush the next concert.

  • OAR surprise

by DTMcGoo on 9/1/18Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

I hadn’t purchased or listened to the bands music a lot prior to the show..... they were a fantastic live music band. The brass section, the rolling type music, and the energy of the trumpet player, made it impossible to sit in your seat! They were just a great live foot stomping show start to finish!

  • OAR never disappoints!

    by JoJo3312 on 9/1/18Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

I drove three hours to see them! I am so glad they came back to perform after having to reschedule the show. They never disappoint.
