by Kim on 12/19/22The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - MemphisThe play was well done, and we enjoyed it. The seating is extraordinarily tight and annoying because if someone in the middle wands out or in, you literally have to stand up and move out of the row to allow them in or out. The seats are also tiny and tight. You feel as if you’re sitting on top of one another. Orpheum Memphis needs to revamp the seating completely. It would mean fewer seats with more room and make the rows wider to allow for people moving in and out of the rows. The seats are uncomfortable due to not being wide enough, and the angle of your hips and knees causes hip and knee pain sitting for that length of time. The Orpheum Memphis is beautiful but needs to consider comfort for these long shoes, and the handicapped section is a joke.
