Very interesting and nice experience.Defintely entertaining and highly recommended.

It was a great experience except for the traffic. There was a concert at the Red Hat venue that held up traffic. This caused a lot of people to arrive late. I had to sit in the upper deck for this first half of the opera. The music was also fantastic.

A brilliant, witty ,and amazing performance! Figaro has a rich beautiful baritone voice and a powerful stage presence. Susanna, the Countess, and the Count also did a lovely rendition of their arias. All the singers did a great job. The smiles and laughter were constantly there celebrating the conflicting situations, disappointments and misadventures of the comic opera, and they were amusing. I totally enjoyed the performance.

What a wonderful evening of amazing music! The orchestra was superb. The opera singers and staging was wonderful. The acoustics was perfect! Loved it!

I loved the minimal setting. The characters were lovely and the story wonderful.

First time attendees to a live opera program. Wonderful cast and talent. Music was spot on! Comfortable venue. Enjoyed the performance and experience. Plan to return for future events.

The Saturday night performance of “The Passion of Mary Caldwell Dawson” was great. The cast of singers was of great quality and the discussion afterwards was thought provoking. What displeased me was having to walk back to my vehicle after being told that I couldn’t take in my handbag. It has been awhile since I’ve seen a performance at Meymandi and was unaware that there was a size requirement. I also didn’t see any information on the website when I purchased my ticket (but who looks for that). There should be accommodations made for concert goers who bring a purse/ handbag that isn’t the appropriate size. I wasn’t the only one… Simple add a bag check would help. Because of this, I missed the first 8-10 minutes of the performance.

The opera was funny and the performances were outstanding

The concert exceeded my expectations! The orchestra, the conductor, and the vocal artists did a fantastic job. I loved how we were encouraged to participate in the performance and we did. I have not stopped talking about this experience! I will patronize the NC Symphony Orchestra again. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

Had a fun day at opera. My cocktail was great. Had a great seat. Met someone who was familiar with where I lived. Just a nice outing for Me. Love the 2 o’clock shows because I can come alone and be safe
