About

Frontier Touring are thrilled to announce the long-awaited return to Australia and New Zealand by one of the USA’s most critically acclaimed singer/songwriters – nine-time Grammy winner Norah Jones.

The ‘Come Away With Me’ singer will perform three intimate headline dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart in April 2019, as well as five shows in New Zealand. These will be the beguiling pianist and vocalist’s first performances in Australia in six years – and 14 years in New Zealand! Tickets to all dates go on sale on Thursday 29 November via frontiertouring.com/norahjones.

‘She put on a self-assured show that drew from all aspects of her career while finding focus seated at the piano in her sultry, smoky-voiced comfort zone.’ – Philadelphia Inquirer

‘Norah Jones has always mixed jazz, country, folk and rock, but her concert demonstrated that she has become master of them all... Jones ranged with relaxed abandon through a career-spanning set.’ – Seattle Times

‘Jones has become a more relaxed and mature performer... she is masterful at never overplaying, she also has an eclectic bent and knows how to rock out. Norah Jones keeps getting better with age.’ – Los Angeles Daily News

  • Nora Jones was great. Need cheaper parking.

by MrToids on 8/7/24Greek Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 3 out of 5

Cheapest parking was $50. That ridiculous. And only one road up there means very slow buses and no good options. . We had to walk up from a restaurant. It was too far.

  • Awesome concert!

by Ellen on 8/6/24The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Top notch sound mixing for Norah Jones, unlike her opening band, and her song list was great. Old and new songs from her recent new album. A class act. The Masonic Auditorium is a great venue; no seats seem bad.

  • Norah Jones is incredibly captivating on stage

by YJ on 8/6/24The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

The music, the experience, the venue...all in all, it was an unforgettable night for us.

  • So talented

Another great show by Norah Jones - so talented and so comfortable on stage.

  • Beautiful music

by Davis on 8/5/24Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

Norah Jones was amazing. Her voice sounds like an angel. I love Outlaw Field for a concert. I love that there is more than one option for food. The only problem with this venue is the parking. What a mess to get out after the show

  • Nora Jones in Eugene, disappointing

by Luke the Pug on 8/3/24Rating: 3 out of 5

I have been waiting so many years to see. Nora Jones sing so I ponied up the money to see her sing at the Cuthbert. I was extremely disappointed. She only played 2 songs from her original album and one was rearranged, I know she's promoting a new album, but please Nora. I've been to many other artists who got a new album coming out and they always intermix their new they're old because they know a large part of the audience is there to listen to their hits. Please nora listen to your audience. So a warning don't expect Nora to serenade you with the songs that we all love.

  • Excellent, Love her voice and songs.

Norah was great!!! Super enjoyable. Highly recommend.

  • Fantastic songs, piano, singing and band.

by Rob on 8/2/24Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

What a great show. The highlight was the fantastic singers that together with Nora created a magical sound. The audience was silent and mesmerized by the beautiful music and singing.

  • performance A+, venue F-

by Tara on 7/31/24Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden - BoiseRating: 2 out of 5

I loved Norah Jones' performance - she sounded beautiful and I so wished that I could have actually seen the stage! However, "Outlaw Field"was set up with a t-shaped aisle going right down the middle of the field. There was no aisle to the side so that people were going around and there was no crowd control asking people to stay seated, so people were non-stop milling about in the aisle in front of the seating areas behind the aisle all throughout the performance. A majority of people were seated on blankets or chairs in the grass, however, this aisle across the middle meant that there were always people standing up in front of you so you couldn't see the stage. Very disappointing!

  • Best Norah Jones Concert Yet

by Squeak on 7/30/24Sandy Amphitheater - SandyRating: 5 out of 5

Norah' s music was great and her extended band . I also appreciated her doing a song with the cover band lead singer. Really class act.

  • Horrible Experience!!

by Ken on 7/29/24Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden - BoiseRating: 1 out of 5

Bought the tickets understood we had seating. Got to concert, seating was on the ground if you didn’t bring your own chairs. My wife and I are 79 and 80, we can not set on ground so we left. Did not see concert. Should have been told upfront, bring your own chairs. Horrible experience!!!!!

  • Lovely Evening 💙🩷🧡❤️

by JuJu on 7/29/24Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

All around wonderful evening with the incomparable Norah Jones. We were thrilled to find out Norah was coming to Outlaw Field in Boise and expectations were high for the sold-out show. She was fun and engaging, playing a mix of beloved classics and new music while moving between piano 🎹 and guitar 🎸. The encore was more than we could have hoped for! 💙🩷🧡❤️ Norah invited lead singer of Hurray for the Riff Raff warm-up band to join her on stage for a song 🎶, something I have never seen a headliner do. Thought that was such a nice touch. Our valley is currently inundated with wildfire smoke and Norah and the band sang and played through all of that, which was a big sacrifice. 🥰

  • Perfect evening!

by Lynn on 7/29/24Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

The music was fabulous. Norah Jones is the consummate entertainer! She engages with the audience; her music is timeless and her voice is flawless! I will see her whenever she is in town!

  • So glad I went

by Paul Adams on 7/29/24Sandy Amphitheater - SandyRating: 5 out of 5

I am so glad that I went to the Norah Jones concert. I thought it was AMAZING! You cannot beat her voice and I love her both behind the piano and behind her guitar. She and the band sounded so great at the Sandy Amp. Norah Jones is one of my all-time favorites, but I almost did not go because I checked out the set list from a previous show and it was mostly from her new Visions album that I was not as familiar with yet and I really wanted to see her perform all of the past songs that I love so much. But, I decided to go anyway and now I have a much greater appreciation for the Visions album and bought the whole album the next day. I now think it is some of her best work. I will never second guess going to a Norah Jones concert again.

  • It was great!

by Terri on 7/29/24Sandy Amphitheater - SandyRating: 5 out of 5

It was a great concert. Love her voice. She has so many good songs.

  • Quite a surprise!

by Delighted! on 7/28/24Sandy Amphitheater - SandyRating: 5 out of 5

I bought her first two albums but I haven't heard of anything from Norah since I don't listen to the radio or stream. I had skeptical expectations but my friends and I enjoyed the concert so much. Her lyrics are so smooth and such a joy to hear. I was surprised and delighted with her new material. And thankfully it didn't rain until after the concert!

  • Nice Performance, But….

by Oggie on 7/28/24Sandy Amphitheater - SandyRating: 4 out of 5

Norah‘s performance was great, but some attendees weren’t paying attention like they should have been. Norah could have been a little more talkative with the audience. I think some in the audience were accompanying Norah Jones fans and didn’t know what to expect for themselves. They weren’t ready for a long set of songs which were all mellow, laid-back, and low’ish energy. Those people should have the class to not talk during the songs, which disrespects the performer and fellow audience members around them. It could’ve been worse, but was bothersome at times.

  • Amazing

by Devster on 7/28/24Sandy Amphitheater - SandyRating: 5 out of 5

I LOVED EVERY MOMENT OF THIS CONCERT. WHEN SHE PLAUED HAPPY PILLS AT SANDY AMPHITHEATRE. I NEARLY DIED OF HAPPINESS!! LOVED HER NEW ALBUM AND THE LIVE WAS JUST AS GOOD.

  • Love Norah Jones

by Concertlover on 7/28/24Sandy Amphitheater - SandyRating: 5 out of 5

Great show! Norah just keeps getting better! She truly loves performing and we are lucky to have her to enjoy.

  • Not worth it

by Disappointed on 7/28/24Sandy Amphitheater - SandyRating: 2 out of 5

Used the app (required) to get ONE cocktail (Everything was $12, which I would expect at a concert, but...) It states your drink order will be ready in 5 minutes. You are supposed to head down to concessions area when you get your notification. We headed down anyway because the trees there were the only shade and it was 90 degrees with the sun on us the whole time. The umbrellas the crowd was using (for shade) were so annoying! The area was packed with people waiting for drink orders. Mine took 45 minutes!!!! For ONE drink!! And when I finally received my notification, my drink was still being made??? (there were 4 of us - out of the entire crowd) waiting at the counter for the same reason??) My friend and I ordered ours at the SAME time, and when she got her notification (10 minutes before me, the ice was half melted:( And everything was already paid for! All the employees were doing were retrieving drinks and there were very few cocktails being served, so no one had any idea why nothing was being put out on the counter. People next to us said they were still waiting after I'd received my drink (They said they had order theirs an HOUR earlier) and they had ordered 1 CAN of beer and a bottled soda!! We heard frustrated people throughout the area, as we all waited patiently, and tried to have some humor about the ridiculous situation. This "system"doesn't work. In addition, Nora Jones's concert was just boring- I know this is not the venue's fault, but I am leaving a review of my "concert experience". She never spoke except to introduce the band and tell us she was sore from horses the day before. Didn't feel like I was at a concert. Same music, played the same way. No banter from the band. Just showed up, and changed light colors behind them. Obviously she is a chill, simple piano gal, but there was absolutely NO communication with the audience ?? I mean, seriously! No side screens for close up views for those of us on the lawn. Could have saved the money and cranked up my Spotify on my back porch with more friends- and INSTANT drinks. Please up your game for concerts, Nora! Despite parking being a dream compared to "formerly known as Usana"and security was fast and the staff was friendly, (which is why I didn't rate this as 0 stars, because this is not the case at many venues), this was my first and last show at Sandy Amphitheater, unless they decide to start thinking about the audience having a "concert experience".
