About

Frontier Touring are thrilled to announce the long-awaited return to Australia and New Zealand by one of the USA’s most critically acclaimed singer/songwriters – nine-time Grammy winner Norah Jones.

The ‘Come Away With Me’ singer will perform three intimate headline dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart in April 2019, as well as five shows in New Zealand. These will be the beguiling pianist and vocalist’s first performances in Australia in six years – and 14 years in New Zealand! Tickets to all dates go on sale on Thursday 29 November via frontiertouring.com/norahjones.

‘She put on a self-assured show that drew from all aspects of her career while finding focus seated at the piano in her sultry, smoky-voiced comfort zone.’ – Philadelphia Inquirer

‘Norah Jones has always mixed jazz, country, folk and rock, but her concert demonstrated that she has become master of them all... Jones ranged with relaxed abandon through a career-spanning set.’ – Seattle Times

‘Jones has become a more relaxed and mature performer... she is masterful at never overplaying, she also has an eclectic bent and knows how to rock out. Norah Jones keeps getting better with age.’ – Los Angeles Daily News

    Long lines

by Laurie on 8/5/22Leader Bank Pavilion - Boston

This was the longest line I've ever had to wait in for a show at the pavilion. They have a new bag policy that's confusing and sent almost everyone back to the end of the line if they had a bag. You can check it for a cost but I wouldn't trust leaving valuables there. People had to get out of the line to go back to their cars then return. Many missed the whole opening act

I bathed in her buttery voice.

It was a beautiful evening and her beautiful voice washed over me. A tingly experience for all of my senses. Absolutely Blissful!

    Show ruined by bag policy

by Katie G on 8/5/22Leader Bank Pavilion - Boston

Be warned- this venue does not allow bags in at all unless they are clear or very tiny- the size of a hand. Live Nation sent multiple emails ahead of the event with pre-show information and didn't include this fact, or even a link to venue details, so when we showed up we waited in a 3 block long line to get in, only to be told we had to wait in a second line so I could pay $10 for them to take my bag. This was my 7 year old's first concert and we missed the entire set of the opening act, who was the artist we came to see. She was heartbroken. Extremely disappointed in Live Nation's poor customer service both before and after the show.

It took us over 30 minutes to get in!

by Paul on 8/5/22Leader Bank Pavilion - Boston

It took us over 30 minutes to get in! - We missed most of Regina Spektor. The line to get in at 7:50 was huge - How can you not accommodate folks arriving at the show start time? Really frustrating.

Music was great but obstructed view

by Vnt28 on 8/5/22Leader Bank Pavilion - Boston

Both Regina Spektor and Norah Jones were amazing, however there was an issue with my view. I bought tickets in the front row of section 6 hoping that it would provide a good view, and it did — if other guests weren't constantly walking by. I asked the usher if it was going to happen for the entire concert, hoping maybe they could curb the walking back and forth to at least between songs and not right in the middle, but he basically told me there was nothing he could do. He also suggested that I could get seats at the round tables in the back, because they are cheaper and a better view. So why did I have to pay more money per seat to sit in a section with a worse view? Very disappointed in the lack of respect of other concert guests for the opening act and for fellow guests, and extremely disappointed that the ushers had no solution and did not help at all.

    Norah Jones

by SlickB on 8/5/22Leader Bank Pavilion - Boston

Wasn't great, opening act way too long, headliner coming on at 9:15 way too late. I love Norah but definitely want to hear more old stuff, don't mind some new but not what most people are coming to hear. As for the venue, employees very accommodating but prices beyond crazy ($18 plus for a large beer and then you need to add tip, $8 plus slice of pizza that wasn't even good). Topping it off the turnpike was closed leaving causing my GPS to run around in circles trying to get home which took twice as long as it should have. I love live music but I have had it with large venues, just not worth the effort and certainly not worth the price, and I can well afford them.

    Good-annoying

by PCB511 on 8/4/22Saratoga Performing Arts Center - Saratoga Springs

Show was great! Venue os always a pleasure. BUT, directions for parking was poor. As a regular, we know where to go. Ticket selection should have said "partially blocked view", as a column was in our wat of 1 seat. LASTLY, the purse/bag size limit RIDICLOUS!! There was NO WARNING in previous emails. My girls bags was 2 in x 1in over limit. WHY!!?? This was an over 50 yr old crowd. There are metal dectors and wand security. This restriction should have been highlighted much more than it was.

Great music, venue excellent. Security protocols? Nope.

by JK on 8/4/22Saratoga Performing Arts Center - Saratoga Springs

Have not been to SPAC in many years. Really loved the venue. Many places are referred to as "Performing Arts Centers." SPAC actually is one. Norah Jones was fabulous. Sound was spot on and we really enjoyed the show. Getting in was another matter. My wife had a purse that basically fit her eyeglasses and phone but was told it was "too big." This resulted in a walk back down the hill to put the purse in the car. Meanwhile others walked in with chairs, backpacks and larger bags. To top it off some of the Live Nation "security" personnel were mare than a bit snarky about it. It didn't spoil the evening but it did not get the experience off to a good start.

    Norah Jones

The opening act was awful in our opinion. Norah Jones, on the other hand, was terrific.

    Concert not Jazz club

by #middleaged on 8/4/22Saratoga Performing Arts Center - Saratoga Springs

Concert started at 730. Opening act on stage for ~45minutes (talented, but definitely not mainstream and tickets were not purchased to hear this act) Intermission Headliner takes stage 9:05 and plays for 55minutes. Not worth the 45 minute drive. Norah is an amazing talent and that is why tickets were purchased. She owes the crowd more time than a measly 55 minutes. Little to no crowd interaction and very limited performance of well known hits. I'll listen and buy records, but I'll refrain from any further concert attendance.

lacks personality...could have listened on a cd ...her voice is still strong and beautiful...not much of a stage show...

Large venues are not for me

by Dan on 8/4/22Saratoga Performing Arts Center - Saratoga Springs

I went to pay homage to Regina Spector, whose quirky music I have enjoyed for years. The affordable seats on the balcony were too distant to be visually or audibly distinct, luckily I knew the words - I cheered none the less. Norah Jones's music I am familiar with but I don't know all the words which were even less distinct on account of her sultry vocals and, I think, echo. In addition the bass, drums and guitar swamped the overhead speakers making it all rather muddy. The performance improved somewhat as it went on. I think I'll avoid large expensive venues in the future - now I know.

    Great concert ~ great performer!

by L. M. on 8/2/22Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - Bethel

Was a wonderful night ~ beautiful night ~ beautiful venue & I love Norah Jones! I missed most of the opening act but Ms. Specktor was wonderful too. I hope to see Ms. Jones again when she plays Bethel. I loved how she mixed up the normal arrangements of some of her most popular songs ~ it was great to witness a great artist. Thanks for making my summer :)
