Nine Inch Nails are a progressive, Grammy-winning industrial rock band composed of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Formed in Cleveland, Ohio as a solo project for singer, songwriter and producer Trent Reznor in 1988, Nine Inch Nails have released 11 studio albums, six EPs and three remix albums, starting with 1989’s Pretty Hate Machine and breakout debut singles “Down In It” and “Head Like a Hole.” For 1992’s Broken EP, NIN reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 while its standout record “Wish” won the Grammy for Best Metal Performance. In the midst of hitting No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for 1994’s The Downward Spiral and 1999’s The Fragile, respectively, NIN released Hot 100-charting singles “Closer” and “The Perfect Drug” and earned a second Best Metal Performance Grammy at the 1996 ceremony for “Happiness in Slavery.” Nine Inch Nails went on hiatus until the 2005 chart-topper With Teeth, then hit the Hot 100 again with singles “The Hand That Feeds” and “Only,” and later with “Survivalism" from their 2007 follow-up Year Zero. Longtime collaborator and English producer Atticus Ross became an official member of NIN in 2016, established with a trilogy of releases culminating in 2018’s Bad Witch. As composers, the duo have earned two Academy Awards, two Grammys and one Emmy. In 2020, Nine Inch Nails were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. NIN also composed the score for the 2025 film Tron: Ares.

The Venue Fiddlers Green has got to be one of the worst venues I've ever been to. With a backdrop of office buildings, poor acoustics, and outrageously over-priced beer (between $9-$12 depending on the brand/size), I would have rather not bothered attending this show. Many of my friends claim the venue actually has a curfew time, a time when the show MUST stop, between 9-10pm. NIN at Fiddlers Green Regrettable. NIN came on at 7:45pm and stopped precisely at 9:00pm. Seriously? Were they having a bad night, was a member sick, did the venue enforce a noise curfew? The sun wasn't even down, the crowd was just starting to heat up with the harder, more intense songs, then Reznor abruptly yells out 'thank you, goodnight'. Cue the applause begging for an encore. But it never came. NIN went offstage, the lights turned on, the crew came out to pack up, and it was over. No explanation, no reason, no love for the fans who have been worshiping NIN since their debut 20 years ago. Everyone leaving the show had a look of disgust and disappointment. Is the venue to blame? Most likely, but failing to explain to your legion of fans why only 1.25 hours of performance was given, compared to most other bands whose set lists last upwards of 2.5-3 hours, deeply shook my loyalty to NIN.
Show was alright, thought NIN was going to headline and they didnt, so that was too bad and hence my 2-star rating... it was different seeing NIN during the day though...
this is it youre last chance to see nin they did well and any chance to see janes is a good enough excuse if u ask me
This was, without a doubt, the best overall concert I've been to. Street Sweeper Social Club opened the evening with good songs and an extremely high level of energy. Nine Inch Nails came next and delivered a performance of their usual stellar quality. Jane's Addiction closed and made me a fan. I won't lie, I've never been a huge fan of their music, but I stayed because they've always been known for their live show. Now I know why. All three bands were amazing and the venue was handled reasonably well.
It had been decades since I last saw these bands. This show was invigorating and highly entertaining. Good Times!!!
I went to this concert mainly to see Nine Inch Nails but even their portion of the show was disappointing. Nine Inch Nails went on first and performed a short set. It was very bland compared to the other NIN concerts I have seen in the past. They sounded great but were not true to usual NIN fashion. Even front man, Trent Reznor, made a couple comments about how the performance wasn't done to NIN standards. Jane's Addiction was kind of mediocre. JA looked as though they really wished they were somewhere else doing anything else but what they were actually doing. The highlight of JA's performance was when guitarist, Dave Navarro pulled 2 girls out of the crowd onto the stage and they stood off to the side of the stage dancing like strippers around a pole. I must say, though, that JA's front man, Perry Farrell, has an immense amount of energy because he frolicked and jumped around the stage the whole show. Overall the show was probably one of the unexciting concerts I have ever been too.
IT WAS A GOOD SHOW, SUCKS NIN ISN'T TOURING ANYMORE
sick!!!!! an amazing show. crowd was killer. Street Sweeper Social Club was off the chain!!!
As Reznor mentioned at the show, NIN is meant to be 'experienced' in the dark. The music was amazing. DTE is almost always amazing for a show, however this time it killed NIN's visual performance. I saw them at Lolla last year, and the show was unreal! Playing before JA, while it was still very bright out made the visual aspect of the show very 'meh.' Jane's Addiction was pretty sweet, and Im glad their visual show was pretty sweet which also required a dark setting.
They both sounded awesome. Was strange seeing Nails open for Jane's but definitely a great show.
Thought NiN was awesome, it was great to see them in a setting like the SB Bowl. Upon arriving, I was shocked to find out that they were already on stage - I thought they were the headliners for this show. Since they played the "Daytime" slot, their light show was muted by the sunset.
My seats were great, the music was phenomenal, the beer was cold; what more could you ask for. Whomever decided on pairing these two bands together should win an award of some kind. It was pure genius!! I've seen NIN 4 times [including this one) but this time Trent played all sorts of songs I've never heard him play before. A great farewell tour. And Jane's I last saw at the very first Lollapalooza back in 1991. Seeing them again shows that great talent and music will alway stand the test of time.
both bands were great but the early curfew and playing when it was still light isnt the same
Great show overall, but it was weird seeing NIN play while it was still light out. I saw them at Red Rocks last year and the light show was WAY better than it was this year.
Jane's Addiction hasn't played here in long time. Even so, I was surprised they were actually the headliner. The advertising implied that Nine Inch Nails was the lead. Both bands are old as far as the music industry is concerned, but they keep their music fresh and relevant to their audience, even though their audience is so very diverse. People of all ages, races and backgrounds were brought together to kick the crap out of each other to music they have in common. Ain't America great? And there were plenty of pyrotechnics to not dissappoint the NIN crowd. But JA totally stole the show. And I am not even as big a fan of their music as NIN. I think this was my 6th NIN show and it wasn't as good as red rocks. In fact, as an avid concert-attendee (at least one show a month), I prefer every venue in Denver (except Pepsi Center-that is the WORST) to Fiddler's. The location is bad and difficult to find (I live in Denver and still have trouble), I can never find my ride afterwards, everything closes so early, and it has always rained every single time I have ever been there. Bands, if you are out there booking shows, almost anywhere is better than Fiddler's!
I was disappointed NIN didn't close the show. The performance by NIN was flawless as usual. I still think last years show at Red Rocks was the best NIN show i have seen yet. Was my first time seeing Janes Addiction live and I was pleasantly surprised. Janes was awesome and I would see them again if given the chance.
I thought that NIN did an excellent job, well don't they always? I love concerts and Fiddilers Green the sound is amazing!
Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre is a great venue and worked pretty well with this concert. Jane's Addiction would be better to see in a smaller place; I also believe they should have opened for NIN, especially since it was their last tour. It was great! :)
well the bands just didnt play well and the crowd wasnt feelin a thang!
