Nine Inch Nails are a progressive, Grammy-winning industrial rock band composed of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Formed in Cleveland, Ohio as a solo project for singer, songwriter and producer Trent Reznor in 1988, Nine Inch Nails have released 11 studio albums, six EPs and three remix albums, starting with 1989’s Pretty Hate Machine and breakout debut singles “Down In It” and “Head Like a Hole.” For 1992’s Broken EP, NIN reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 while its standout record “Wish” won the Grammy for Best Metal Performance. In the midst of hitting No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for 1994’s The Downward Spiral and 1999’s The Fragile, respectively, NIN released Hot 100-charting singles “Closer” and “The Perfect Drug” and earned a second Best Metal Performance Grammy at the 1996 ceremony for “Happiness in Slavery.” Nine Inch Nails went on hiatus until the 2005 chart-topper With Teeth, then hit the Hot 100 again with singles “The Hand That Feeds” and “Only,” and later with “Survivalism" from their 2007 follow-up Year Zero. Longtime collaborator and English producer Atticus Ross became an official member of NIN in 2016, established with a trilogy of releases culminating in 2018’s Bad Witch. As composers, the duo have earned two Academy Awards, two Grammys and one Emmy. In 2020, Nine Inch Nails were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. NIN also composed the score for the 2025 film Tron: Ares.

...except for the douchebags behind us. i'm all for people getting drunk and having a good time. but you go to a show to enjoy the music, not stumble all over the people sitting around you. your friends shouldn't have to babysit you. your an adult. stop being an ass. that being said, the show was awesome! trent really pulled it off, as usual. totally bummed to hear this is his last tour (at least for a while). awesome set list with some new tracks and some classics that got everybody singing. and jane's was amazing as well. much better than expected. they should have played "of course" but they fulfilled regardless. could have done without the quasi-philosophical lecture-poems perry shared with us.. but it didn't take away from their music at all. navarro rocks it!
was a good show we left half way through janes addiction cause all we really went for was NIN
Nine Inch Nails was great. Jane's was superb. It was just like it was 20 years ago.
Awesome show! NIN played an awesome show...wished they played longer and headed the show. As alwaysTrent Reznor Rocked....Thanks for coming to Colorado
Because of noise ordinances for the venue in Englewood, all shows have to end by 11:00pm which is always a drag but I was dissapointed NIN opened for Janes addiction. While I am a huge fan of Janes, my heart was set on an amazing "farewell" performance from NIN with a light show and the works. The sun was still up when NIN left the stage and it just wasnt the same as the past two shows I have seen with NIN. We arrived at 7:30pm and missed half of NIN set which suprised me that they were on so early, but again with a cutoff of 11:00pm I guess they had to go on that early. I was bummed to miss Street Sweeper. Janes Addiction has always put on an amazing show and they did that night as well, but NIN should have had the closing spot. I had taken people who had never seen NIN and had really built up how amazing their light/stage show was so my guests' were a little dissapointed as they were bigger fans of NIN. The show was good but I think you get the point. I hate to say it but if I had known NIN was opening for Janes and they were performing in full daylight in Colorado, I would not have bought the tix. Also the process of this review sucks because I am spending more time trying to put in a nickname. I mean there are only so many names on the planet!!!!!! C'mon!!!
I loved Nine Inch Nails. My one wish is that they would have headlined. Its there last tour and would have been nice. Jane's Addiction was good too. Over all it was a good time and great show!
pretty crappy NIN show.. the one i was in while in Witchita KS has no comparison to this show. They played some off the wall songs and Jane's Addiction was real bad. Glad I just bought the cheap seats.
SSSC was awesome Nin was amazing left 3 song into janes addiction, never was a fan and this didn't change it
This was my first time at Fiddler's Green and I had a blast! Great sound and great time.
We saw NIN at the palace in August this past year and then immediatly got tickets once we heard they were touring again. And streetsweeper and Janes addiction were added bonuses. So our show was at the end of May at DTE this time around and we always have a great time there b/c parking is free and it's outside and plenty of room to breathe. The show kicked so much ass it was unbelievable, it really kicked off my summer and I hope to return this fall to catch the Marilyn Manson/ Slayer tour too.
The crowd was great. The venue was great. The show was great! This was one of those concerts that actually started on time. It was pretty early for a rock show, but for a Sunday night, I suppose the music needed to end early for the residential area it was surrounded by. Nine Inch Nails played before Jane's Addiction on this night of the tour. I was a little disappointed that Trent and the gang only played for an hour or so. I was left wanting more. They played a great mix of old and new, and like I said, the crowd was really into it! Jane's Addiction had a great set too, again a mix of old and new. Dave and Perry had their usual playfulness on stage. Perry wore a tail. :) The only reason I didn't give this event 5 out of 5 stars is because I thought the concert started too early (with many empty seats) and NIN didn't play long enough for a headliner. I understand it's a lot of work to put on such a great show, but they're pros-they can handle it! Other than that, go rock your socks off!!
Street sweeper social club was a great way to kick it off!! NIN was great(the band I went to see) Janes Played fine they were just too boring to follow NIN After four songs that did nothing for me I left.
My 1st time to Santa Barbara Bowl & it was a bit odd to see & hear the presence of Trent Reznor (my musical idol & muse, so what if i'm a girl) while the sun was still shining (due to the powerful feel of their music & the usual synchronized strobe lights). But somehow, they not only pulled it off , I was MESMERIZED, as usual. Perry Farrell & Dave Navarro side by side again was a charismatic pair to witness. JA never lets me down & I am constantly amazed at Perry's relentless energy on stage no matter the band he is in & no matter the age that he has become...
Overall....show was pretty good. NIN surprised by playing before the sun went down. JA very talented, but not a fan.
very good bass was spectactular, sound was great a little cold and daytime nin was bad
What can I say. Street Sweeper Social Club was amazing, NIN was incredible, and Jane's Addiction was off-the-hook!! Everything I hoped for and more!
Didn't mind the 2 hour drive to santa barbara..chill crowd..great show...
Went to see NIN, and was disappointed when they opened. I thought for sure that they would be the main act. Was a little sad that they didnt wait for the sun to set, so their awesome lightshow wasnt as amazing as it has been in the past. Was very suprised at Janes Addiction. Great energy from Perry, amazing band skills, and kept the crowd going through their whole set.
NIN was the first to come out and play which i thought was strange, but after the band started singing i forgot about it all and enjoyed the show, until they had to leave............
