About

Nine Inch Nails are a progressive, Grammy-winning industrial rock band composed of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Formed in Cleveland, Ohio as a solo project for singer, songwriter and producer Trent Reznor in 1988, Nine Inch Nails have released 11 studio albums, six EPs and three remix albums, starting with 1989’s Pretty Hate Machine and breakout debut singles “Down In It” and “Head Like a Hole.” For 1992’s Broken EP, NIN reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 while its standout record “Wish” won the Grammy for Best Metal Performance. In the midst of hitting No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for 1994’s The Downward Spiral and 1999’s The Fragile, respectively, NIN released Hot 100-charting singles “Closer” and “The Perfect Drug” and earned a second Best Metal Performance Grammy at the 1996 ceremony for “Happiness in Slavery.” Nine Inch Nails went on hiatus until the 2005 chart-topper With Teeth, then hit the Hot 100 again with singles “The Hand That Feeds” and “Only,” and later with “Survivalism" from their 2007 follow-up Year Zero. Longtime collaborator and English producer Atticus Ross became an official member of NIN in 2016, established with a trilogy of releases culminating in 2018’s Bad Witch. As composers, the duo have earned two Academy Awards, two Grammys and one Emmy. In 2020, Nine Inch Nails were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. NIN also composed the score for the 2025 film Tron: Ares.

  • The Best Performance

by Jessica on 9/8/25Rating: 5 out of 5

I love concerts and music festivals. I’ve been to dozens. I fear nothing will ever top NIN. I’ll be chasing their Peel It Back show for a long time. The entire production is a sublime crafting. Lighting, visuals, audio, staging, and the band’s performance all seemed unreal.

  • NIN was pretty good; opener not so much

by DougS on 9/8/25Lenovo Center - RaleighRating: 4 out of 5

I understand they collaborated on the soundtrack, but just don't think that warranted an hour of boys noise before the show. I think the only reason the crowd cheered in the interim was because they thought he was finished. It was a decent show but still not as good as a Pearl Jam show.

  • Awesome time

by Vsic on 9/8/25Lenovo Center - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

A must see show for legends NIN in Raleigh. Love the venue , easy to get in and out of , great organization, convenient location. Loved the show, the sound, the view, the lights. Really amazing ! Can’t wait to go again

  • Good show

    by CiscoA1980 on 9/8/25Lenovo Center - RaleighRating: 4 out of 5

Amazing visuals good mix of old and new songs. A bit too much EDM from the opener.

  • Amazing show

by Dewy on 9/8/25Lenovo Center - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

Show was great. Only issue was leaving the parking lot. Lenovo center really needs to work on training the employees who direct cars when leaving. Show ended at 10:35 and was in my car at 10:40. Didn’t leave the parking lot before 11:10. Line never moved while other areas with cars were leaving.

  • Flawless

by Mark on 9/8/25Lenovo Center - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

Great show. The lighting and stage show was top notch. Trent never slowed down even with the unique set up. A bucket list show and it didn’t disappoint.

  • Spiritual

by LC on 9/8/25Lenovo Center - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

When you are in the presence of Trent Reznor performing you're witnessing art. He pours eveything into his performances and everyone in attendance knows it. Second time seeing NIN and the Peel It Back tour was even more life changing than the last. Hoping to see NIN many more times to come.

  • Stunning

    by CamperFan68 on 9/8/25Lenovo Center - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

Seen a ton of shows in my life and this one had to in the too 5 for production, lighting, and sound. It was more a cathartic work of art than concert. Truly moving and powerful.

  • Awesome !!!

    by Patrick L. on 9/8/25Lenovo Center - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

NIN was Awesome !!! Great concert. Light show was Amazing !

  • Incredible show!!

by Jenn on 9/8/25Lenovo Center - RaleighRating: 4 out of 5

DJ Boys Noize set was cool. FYI it ended EXACTLY at 9 and there was no pause before NIN set began. I LIVED this, but be aware when planning your arrival/merch/snack stuff. The NIN performance was incredible. Perfect. So much fun. Venue note: too much fog resulted in almost no visibility by the time they moved back to the smaller floor-center stage mid-set. That was a bummer, and the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. FYI: there was no encore at our show. We always hope for one, but we get it. It seems a little more common that bands are skipping it these days (Metallica didn’t have an encore either this year). Worth every penny, for all the best reasons, though. Trent and the guys really delivered an amazing experience.

  • Amazing Concert

by Nebulana on 9/8/25Lenovo Center - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

Trent still sounds amazing. The visuals were awesome, and the switching between the 2 stages really made things interesting and some songs more intimate. Really had a great time!

  • Reznor Inc Killed It!

by Rich on 9/8/25Lenovo Center - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing show. Amazing concept! Brilliantly executed. Top of his game! Loved the extra attention given to Robin and Josh. Nice added touch.

  • NIN was good... opener not so much

by CC on 9/8/25Lenovo Center - RaleighRating: 3 out of 5

Opening musician was on stage way too long and the music was annoying and redundant. No one was expecting the electronic music. They should have let that guy have 20 minutes, tops.

  • NIN Still Rocks 20 Years Later

by Kat on 9/8/25Lenovo Center - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

This was my 5th time seeing Nine Inch Nails, last time was 20 years ago! This may have been their best performance yet. We had club level seats and they were perfect for viewing all the action in the Raleigh PNC Stadium. Sound was awesome & very loud (which is to be expected for this band). Highly recommend if you are able to; go see this tour! You won’t regret it! Amazing.

  • Good show but venue was too hot

by Alexis on 9/8/25Lenovo Center - RaleighRating: 4 out of 5

The show was great and the bands had awesome performances but the Lenovo center venue was too hot it felt like the AC was not on at all. It was very uncomfortable and could have ruined the show if not for the bands being amazing.

  • Amazing

by TT on 9/7/25Barclays Center - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best shows I've ever seen. The stage setup was incredible. Sound was perfection. Lighting def could be an issue for people with sensory issues but it added immensely to the experience. Staff was great. Overall wonderful experience.

  • Fantastic show!

by TeamKMom on 9/7/25Xfinity Mobile Arena - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

The multiple stages, The netting on the main stage with the images projected onto it, the lights and the smoke all came together for an awesome experience!

  • Captivating show

by Adriannacolorstyle on 9/7/25Barclays Center - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

For music lovers who appreciate Nine inch nails the show was an indulgence of sight and sound.
