Nine Inch Nails are a progressive, Grammy-winning industrial rock band composed of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Formed in Cleveland, Ohio as a solo project for singer, songwriter and producer Trent Reznor in 1988, Nine Inch Nails have released 11 studio albums, six EPs and three remix albums, starting with 1989’s Pretty Hate Machine and breakout debut singles “Down In It” and “Head Like a Hole.” For 1992’s Broken EP, NIN reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 while its standout record “Wish” won the Grammy for Best Metal Performance. In the midst of hitting No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for 1994’s The Downward Spiral and 1999’s The Fragile, respectively, NIN released Hot 100-charting singles “Closer” and “The Perfect Drug” and earned a second Best Metal Performance Grammy at the 1996 ceremony for “Happiness in Slavery.” Nine Inch Nails went on hiatus until the 2005 chart-topper With Teeth, then hit the Hot 100 again with singles “The Hand That Feeds” and “Only,” and later with “Survivalism" from their 2007 follow-up Year Zero. Longtime collaborator and English producer Atticus Ross became an official member of NIN in 2016, established with a trilogy of releases culminating in 2018’s Bad Witch. As composers, the duo have earned two Academy Awards, two Grammys and one Emmy. In 2020, Nine Inch Nails were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. NIN also composed the score for the 2025 film Tron: Ares.

The show was energetic! Great sound and lights! NIN is always an awesome show!
I'd been looking forward to see NIN forever. This was a dream come true for me and the performance was better than I could ever imagine. Though I must admit, I did have to use my imagination for parts of it because the section 222 seat I had purchased WAS SO HIGH!!! I had never been to Barclay Center before so I had no idea about the seating configuration in terms of viewing angle and height. I could only go by the schematic drawing at the time of purchasing my ticket. Had I know in advance that I would need binoculars I would have sucked it up and opted for MUCH MORE expensive ticket at a lower section. My story offers room for improvement in the sense of providing some sort of video preview of the space from the seating area at time of purchase (like they do for some Broadway Theater tickets - see Harry Potter on Broadway ticket purchase experience for reference). That would help first time visitors to Barclay make a more informed decision. Also, please lower the ticket prices. Honestly, $156 to barely see is a bit much and likewise $350 TO SEE is also a bit much. Other than that, NIN's performance was incredible and I only wish I could have seen a bit more of their expressions while playing to feel "closer"or more intimately a part of the concert experience.
The good: NIN was amazing, both nights. Their music has always been powerful and energetic. No exception here. Their visuals have become more and more stunning as they’ve aged. Between the 2 nights,I got to hear many songs that I’ve identified with since high school (Mr. Self Destruct, Heresy, Burn, Hurt, Somewhat Damaged.) I hope NIN continues to do tours. The bad: Between the 2 nights, there were about 4 songs difference. I would have liked more variety (but,I’m sure every fan says that about a band). The Barclays Center itself…..ehhhh. I don’t know who designed it but the higher up you are, the worse it is. Throughout the show,I kept feeling like I might fall from my section (heights = dizziness for me. I know better for next time….if there is a next time for the venue.) All in all, I had a good time at the show, and NIN is a band to be experienced live….but maybe closer to the floor next time for me.
Been a fan since I was 15 in the 90’s, and my husband surprised me with tickets to the Brooklyn show to see NIN live for the first time. Still reliving the experience in my mind. Love the visual artistry-the use of the scrim displaying live footage, and the lights and multi stage set up were awesome. No lag time, tight performance. We were in section 4 at Barclay’s and it was a perfect side stage experience. Trent? ‘ nuff said. John Freese blew us away with his artistry, precision, speed, and internal metronome. How does he do it? Only criticism was that the merch line took a long time which took away from being able to properly appreciate Boys Noize. Love you forever NIN…and my husband ;) I need more.
Wall to wall melodic noise. Sorry for those sensitive to loud noises who were unable to enjoy this - I know there were a few out there. For everyone else, just banger after banger after banger. And the production values were through the roof and off the chain! Great concert experience, even if Boyz Noize isn’t really my thing.
My first time seeing NIN live… wow!!! The only thing that would have made it better would have been standing on the floor so I could have danced all night long. Trent sounded absolutely amazing, every note the band played perfection. The night was over way too fast, wish I could have afforded both nights hope they’ll be back again once the new album is released
NIN once again put on a spectacular show blending a mix of fan favorites in with new material.
Over priced and they played for a lousy 1 1/2 hours. Barclay's Center sucks too!
Loved the show. Trent sounded awesome. The visual effects were amazing. You will not be disappointed!!!
a night of pure perfection. I didn't need perfection. But I got sonic and visual and heartfelt perfection. My soul is brimming.
I have seen NIN before live at other venues, they are always amazing! However, I have to say, Trent sounds amazing as always, and this tour is absolutely the most visually stunning and impressive live show I have see in a very long time. Disappointed i only went to one night and not both!
Better than I ever expected! They sounded great, and out on an awesome show!
Thank goodness I brought ear protection. If I hadn't, I think I probably would have left at the beginning of the show. The bass was WAY too loud: I think my heart beat was reset. Show was not what I expected - they were better 20 years ago when they played instruments rather than just using electronic sounds of said instruments.
Show was great . Venue was nice . Easy access to everything
Fan since 1992. 9th time seeing NIN. BEST SHOW EVER.
The last time I saw NIN was 1994. I saw them 4 times. This show transported me back in time. They were amazing - just awesome nonstop energy and excitement. The only regret I had was not being on the floor in the pit. Everyone around us were sitting in section 217. It was mind boggling since the energy, sounds and lights were just so powerful there was no way I could not be dancing non stop. Trent and the crew were just unstoppable. Please keep touring at least one time a year . Keep peeling it back!
One of the greatest shows I’ve ever experienced. Nostalgic for long-time fans but absolutely fresh and electrifying. Some of the technical lighting elements that got a trial run at the Kings Theater show a few years back were absolutely explosive and scaled at this show. The staging, progression, theater craft created a journey through the underdark. The range of the production sonically and visually was remarkable. Quieter vocals accompanied solely by piano with delicate lighting ramping to the overwhelming industrial force of explosive gut-liquifying bass and retina searing lighting gave the show incredible range. At times soft and dreamlike and others hard and hyper-real. Trent Reznor and NIN have transcended time, space and discipline. They are artists well beyond the domain of musicians. While the material had the comfort of being old and familiar the delivery felt a glimpse into the future. There was no encore and frankly, it was almost a relief to allow processing the core show. Trent retains his place in the Pantheon. Just, an incredible show.
I've seen NIN many, many, many times since the 1980s and this show was definitely not their best or their worst. I'd say the first half was great, the second half was mostly uninspired. The band was fine, it was the song choices that dragged the energy down, IMHO. Also, the show wasn't really loud enough... it left me underwhelmed by the end.
Nine Inch Nails music has withstood the test of time and even surpassed it. Their beats are better than what’s played at most clubs or raves. Their beats stage show is supremely executed and moving. Bravo!!!! - A thirty plus years enthusiast
Nine inch Nails sounded great! Played most of their hits. It’s hard to believe that some of the songs are about 30 or more years old. Everything sounded so fresh and new.
