About

Nine Inch Nails are a progressive, Grammy-winning industrial rock band composed of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Formed in Cleveland, Ohio as a solo project for singer, songwriter and producer Trent Reznor in 1988, Nine Inch Nails have released 11 studio albums, six EPs and three remix albums, starting with 1989’s Pretty Hate Machine and breakout debut singles “Down In It” and “Head Like a Hole.” For 1992’s Broken EP, NIN reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 while its standout record “Wish” won the Grammy for Best Metal Performance. In the midst of hitting No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for 1994’s The Downward Spiral and 1999’s The Fragile, respectively, NIN released Hot 100-charting singles “Closer” and “The Perfect Drug” and earned a second Best Metal Performance Grammy at the 1996 ceremony for “Happiness in Slavery.” Nine Inch Nails went on hiatus until the 2005 chart-topper With Teeth, then hit the Hot 100 again with singles “The Hand That Feeds” and “Only,” and later with “Survivalism" from their 2007 follow-up Year Zero. Longtime collaborator and English producer Atticus Ross became an official member of NIN in 2016, established with a trilogy of releases culminating in 2018’s Bad Witch. As composers, the duo have earned two Academy Awards, two Grammys and one Emmy. In 2020, Nine Inch Nails were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. NIN also composed the score for the 2025 film Tron: Ares.

  • A mind-melter of a...

by ndoggage on 8/22/25United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic show top to bottom. Trent sounded amazing as did the rest of the band. The 2-stage concept worked well, giving different spaces for different moods and atmospheres in the set. The lighting and special effects were otherworldly - the optical illusions during "Copy of a"were a high point, but every aspect of the visuals was extraordinary. It's clear that the band really sought to provide their fans with a top-notch experience, and they delivered. I think even non-fans of NIN would enjoy this show (and then become fans and wonder why they weren't listening to them before). The United Center is a nice venue as well - not someplace I've been before, but I'd go back for another concert or sporting event. Thanks to NIN for an A+ evening - it was fantastic.

  • Great show

by Bueller on 8/22/25United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Played a great selection of songs from across the discography. Visuals were super cool. They had two stages set up. Main stage and a small one. Small one is located directly in front of the arena floor seated section. In Chicago, doors opened at 6:30 and NIN started at exactly 9, one opener a DJ.

  • Great seats 💺

by Kathy on 8/22/25United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

First time seeing Nine Inch Nails and they really put on a great show. We had great seats 💺. I use ticketmaster for my tickets before they go right on the phone and very easy to use.

Just go! If you have the opportunity to see this tour or NIN in general just do it. Trent and the band and crew create some of the most visually stunning and eye catching shows, and each tour tends to top the last. He plays the hits and the deep cuts, and casual or hardcore fans will be pleased at that. Even if you’re just a fan of music or concerts and aren’t into NIN it’s still a worthwhile experience. Pictures and video don’t do justice how great it really is to experience it in person.

  • Top Tier Performance

by Skelly on 8/22/25United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen Nine Inch Nails dozens of times (including the Farewell Tour) and this was by far one of, if not the best performances I've seen...not just for NIN, but for all the shows I've been to. I had awful nosebleed seats, and the way he structured the venue and show made it worth it. The layout, sound, and song selection were amazing. I'm jealous of everyone who had better seats, but the show was amazing no matter where you sat.

  • NIN off the charts

by Tweeter on 8/20/25Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

I think Trent Reznor's voice has improved since the last time I saw him 30 years next door at Roy Wilkins auditorium. The sound quality was on point and the light A/V show was off the charts! Top notch production and I would expect no less from them.

  • Super Show

by NIN on 8/20/25Ball Arena - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Nine Inch Nails delivered a performance that ranks among the top five shows I’ve ever experienced. The concert unfolded like a living art installation of sound and light, captivating from start to finish. Both the set design and production were flawless, while the sound quality achieved near perfection. A truly unforgettable show. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
