About

Nine Inch Nails are a progressive, Grammy-winning industrial rock band composed of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Formed in Cleveland, Ohio as a solo project for singer, songwriter and producer Trent Reznor in 1988, Nine Inch Nails have released 11 studio albums, six EPs and three remix albums, starting with 1989’s Pretty Hate Machine and breakout debut singles “Down In It” and “Head Like a Hole.” For 1992’s Broken EP, NIN reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 while its standout record “Wish” won the Grammy for Best Metal Performance. In the midst of hitting No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for 1994’s The Downward Spiral and 1999’s The Fragile, respectively, NIN released Hot 100-charting singles “Closer” and “The Perfect Drug” and earned a second Best Metal Performance Grammy at the 1996 ceremony for “Happiness in Slavery.” Nine Inch Nails went on hiatus until the 2005 chart-topper With Teeth, then hit the Hot 100 again with singles “The Hand That Feeds” and “Only,” and later with “Survivalism" from their 2007 follow-up Year Zero. Longtime collaborator and English producer Atticus Ross became an official member of NIN in 2016, established with a trilogy of releases culminating in 2018’s Bad Witch. As composers, the duo have earned two Academy Awards, two Grammys and one Emmy. In 2020, Nine Inch Nails were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. NIN also composed the score for the 2025 film Tron: Ares.

  • NIN is always a great show

by Larka on 8/20/25Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

Breathtaking. Absolutely stunning show. NIN hasn’t been in MN since 2013. Reznor keeps evolving as an artist and is an unstoppable force.

  • Reimagine. Reinvent. Rise. Resist.

by Reimagine. Reinvent. Rise. Resist. on 8/20/25Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

If you miss this tour, you'll NEVER forgive yourself. The classics were expertly reimagined & reinvented, as to be expected. The setlist & arrangements were clearly intentional, a true battle cry to rise and resist. Loved the multiple stages and the production was A+++++. DAMN, what an epic show!

  • Epic Show!

by Miznalf on 8/20/25Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

Trent and gang put on an unforgettable epic show, which featured incredible display of lights on multiple stages in an action-packed 100-minute set. I appreciated how quickly the show began (before 9 pm!) but wish it would have been longer. The band sounded absolutely fantastic, and Trent (at 60) still rocks like the best of them. The only critical feedback I have is regarding the fog around the stages, which made it difficult to see the band as they performed.

  • Incredible show, even for a first time

by Ali on 8/20/25Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

It was my first time seeing NIN live, a bucket list level experience, and it was every bit as incredible as I wanted it to be. From the selection of songs to the seats I was in, couldn’t have been any better honestly.

  • Do not miss this tour.

by ScottC on 8/20/25Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

The sound, lighting, and stage effects were all top notch. Opening guy wasn’t my cup of tea, but still good. The two stages were cool. Felt like we were seeing NIN in some dirty warehouse techno club. Super cool vibe. Do not miss this tour.

  • Outstanding

by Planetdan on 8/20/25Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

In the pit with the elderly moshers. Had a great time screaming along to some of my favorite songs of all time.

  • Smokey

by Trents mom on 8/20/25Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 5 out of 5

Too much smoke on the small stage completely blocked out Trent. Otherwise amazing show as always

  • Cannot miss NIN

    by Chad W on 8/20/25Ball Arena - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Ever since my live intro to Nine Inch Nails in NC for the NIN/JA tour I’ve missed just one show I could actively avoid. While I certainly regret missing the live debut of ‘The Perfect Drug’ at Red Rocks, hindsight allows me to reflect and appreciate skipping that first night in Morrison in 2018 rather than Trent & Co.’s Peel It Back Tour night at Ball Arena. ‘Nuff said, hopefully.

  • Spectacular

by Bac on 8/19/25Maverik Center - West Valley CityRating: 4 out of 5

They sounded amazing, the two stages were very innovative. The whole show is high energy, and except for a smoke machine malfunction, at least as far as our seats were concerned it was fantastic. A little air conditioning would have made it almost perfect, it was so hot inside!

  • Nine inch nails

by Tanya on 8/18/25Ball Arena - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Great concert!! Can't wait to see them next time! The atmosphere was energized and I loved it!

  • Terrific night from an old favorite

by OD on 8/18/25Ball Arena - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Lived the opening DJ, reminded me of the clubs I frequented as a young person. The two stage set up NIN used was very cool and it gave more people a chance to see them up close. The music and sound was very entertaining and FUN.

  • NIN still hyper-relevant after all these years

by United Stains on 8/18/25Ball Arena - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Trent, Atticus and company put on an amazing performance, impressively switching between an electro-heavy small middle stage and traditional lineup main stage. Their electro-heavy small stage featured many unique versions of older songs that were quite compelling. Also, they played SEVEN songs from The Downward Spiral, which old fans like me loved. Fantastic 20-song set!

  • Good show

by Chaz on 8/18/25Ball Arena - DenverRating: 4 out of 5

Show was good but needed more of boyz noise was not a part of nails performance I think the show could have been way better

Nine Inch Nails was incredible!! Best concert ever, I’ve loved them since 1989.

  • Felt it!!!

by ELF on 8/18/25Ball Arena - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

One off the best Nails shows I’ve seen. The visuals were on point and of course Trent was excellent!!! Moody and epic at the same tim. Loved every second.

  • NIN was incredible, venue makeshift seats sucked

by Jenn on 8/18/25Ball Arena - DenverRating: 4 out of 5

Nine Inch Nails was peak performance, incredible songs from every album. Energy was high, sound was perfect. Boys Noize was a great addition. Can’t say enough positive things about the show! Biggest opportunity was the venue. We paid over $400 per seat for the location, and when we got there there was a tiny section of folding seats between real seats. They shoved 4 seats in the space that would have taken 3 regular stadium seats, had no cup holders. When you would stand up to back up and let people through the seats would fall over. The bleacher like riser had no backings so my phone fell through the bleachers- in the one four foot section set up like this. We paid the same price as those around us and got the raw end of the deal. This was far from what I would expect spending the money we did on tickets. Will never go back to Ball arena. Beware, section 102, seats 13-17 in rows 1-7. Greed at its finest. It was a good thing we were on our feet for the band the whole time they performed.

  • (Good) Sensory Overload

by Nathan Conger on 8/18/25Maverik Center - West Valley CityRating: 5 out of 5

It's been 20 years since I've seen NIN. This time about 100 yards closer than last. Front row next to the middle stage. 5 ft away. God it was amazing. The solo vocal/piano start. The build up. The lights and fog. Brought my GF who's tastes are very far removed from NIN (she likes Hurt). She came away saying, "I get it""I love that man". I wish I could follow Trent/NIN across the country. World really.

  • Wow! So Much Energy!

by Cwisti on 8/18/25Ball Arena - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

The show was amazing! The sound, visual effects, and performances were on point! I had a fantastic time!
