About

Nickelback is one of the most commercially successful rock bands in history. Since the release of their breakthrough third album — 2001’s Silver Side Up — the Canadian post-grunge rockers have sold over 50 million albums worldwide, with multiple Top 10 hits, four Grammy nominations, and 12 Juno Awards. Career-defining hits like “How You Remind Me,” “Photograph,” and “Rockstar” have made Nickelback a diamond-certified selling group, and the second best selling foreign act in the U.S. in the 2000s (behind only The Beatles). “How You Remind Me,” a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, was named the most-played song on U.S. radio (in any format) in the 2000s by Nielsen Soundscan. Since forming in 1995 in the town of Hanna in Alberta, Canada, the high-octane rockers have been on 12 consecutive sold-out world tours, playing to over 10 million fans worldwide.

    NICKELBACK

by NICKELBACK2009 on 8/26/09Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre - Englewood

I had read a few reviews before I went and some of them suggested each lead singer talked to much. I think Chad Kroeger (Nickelback) was just having a great time, he smiled ear to ear all night and it made the concert more personable. We had a great time, great show, played most all of the current favorites and a few older ones.

Nickback was the best concert ever!

by blueneongirl on 8/25/09DTE Energy Music Theatre - Clarkston

I went liking and knowing quite a bit about each band I didnt know which one would be best and Nickleback by far was the best. Hinder was great too.

The entire concert rocked from beginning to end!

by tover36 on 8/25/09Riverbend Music Center - Cincinnati

This was a great show. I was a personal fan of all the bands except Hinder before the concert but they even won me over with their awesome performance. As always nickelback did a fabulous job of engaging the crowds. Wouldn't miss them! Can't wait till they come back.

by not2be on 8/25/09Riverbend Music Center - Cincinnati

papa roach i thought was great. nickelback could have been better if not for all the constant talking. was suppose to be the dark horse tour but should have been named the greatest hits tour. when they played it was great just to much talking!

    Nickelback is the best!!!

by Mattsmommy on 8/24/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

Overall excellent concert. I attended the Nickelback concert at the same venue last year also. Although it was a very entertaining concert, I felt that there was a considerable amount of talking this concert and less songs despite having a new CD out. Opening acts were very good, I personally have never listened to Papa Roach and became a fan after this concert.

    Nickelback - not so entertaining

by Scuba222 on 8/24/09Riverbend Music Center - Cincinnati

While the music was great the long pauses and attempts at interaction with the audience fell flat.

    Nickleback rocked!!!!

by rocknrb on 8/24/09DTE Energy Music Theatre - Clarkston

It was nice to see four bands for one concert. I really enjoyed Papa Roach and Hinder but Nickleback rocked the house I never seen so many people standing throughout the whole show.

    Nickelback was fantastic!

by MandalsoM on 8/24/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga Falls

The concert on August 14th was excellent!! Nickelback certainly aims to please the crowd. I saw the Columbus, Ohio show earlier in the tour. Nickelback added some additional songs from the Dark Horse album to the Cuyahoga Falls concert. Blossom is a fantastic venue, especially on a summer night.

    Nickelback

by kcabc on 8/24/09Riverbend Music Center - Cincinnati

I was disappointed as soon as me and my husband got there. The show had 4 bands to get through. After checking the weg-site, and found out who the first band was going to be my husband and I sometimes will skip the first act because of sitter problems and so our night is not to long. When we got into the parking lot, we heard the second finishing. Appartently the first band started before the time noted on our tickets!!!! The show was really good that we got to see of it. But Nickelback di d way too much talking!!!!

    Outstanding performance

by JJB77 on 8/24/09Riverbend Music Center - Cincinnati

All the bands were awesome! We had great seats. I knew all the songs. Nickleback really put on an awesome show as they always do. I love that they are willing to play other bands music like Garth Brooks "Friends in Low places" and AC/DC "Highway to Hell". They even had the other singers of Papa Roach and Hinder came out with them to do the songs! The concert was fanstastic!!! Must see

    Nickelback Mixed Feelings

by bane58 on 8/24/09Riverbend Music Center - Cincinnati

In short Nickelback played and sang great, but Chad felt like talking for 20 mins or more after each song. The ACDC was a great cover as with all of their original songs.

    Nickelback Rocked the House

by CincinnatiTribe on 8/23/09Riverbend Music Center - Cincinnati

Even though the Cincinnati Enquirer didn't give this show a great review, my husband and I thought Nickelback was great. They could have played more songs instead of chatting up the crowd; but the evening was fantasic and my ears needed a break since it was all high volume at Riverbend. The only other bummer was we missed Saving Abel since the show started at 6PM. Made it hard to get there on time if you work. We'll see them again the next time they come through.

    Amazing!

by PHHSdramagirl06 on 8/23/09DTE Energy Music Theatre - Clarkston

This was my first concert ever so I didn't know what to expect. It was way better than I ever imagined! I wasn't too familiar with the opening acts but they were awesome and Nickelback was unbelieveable!!!!! They played lots of their old hits, all my favorites, and a few surprise tunes. Chad is hilarious, and it was just great all along. I was dancing and singing along all night long! If you like Nickelback, you must go see them live!

    Pretty much awesome.

by TinyPlaidNinja on 8/23/09Riverbend Music Center - Cincinnati

Well first off, Nickelback rocks. And all the bands that played that night were awesome. All any of the bands had to say was scream and I'm pretty sure China could here us. The effects Nickelback had were also UNBELIEVABLE. I usually go by the rule, if you forget you're in the lawn, it's one hell of a concert. And let me tell you, I'm pretty sure I forgot what lawn seats were. Haha. Kickass concert.
