Nick Offerman is HILARIOUS! His show was funny, entertaining, and had a really great theme, once you get past the onslaught of jokes. I would DEFINITELY recommend seeing it! SO FUNNY!!!

This show was different from what we expected -- a little more philosophical than stand-up comedy. But we loved it. Nick Offerman is hilarious, wise, smart. The opening act, Corn Mo, we definitely could have done without.

Mr. Offerman eloquently outlines the top ten tips to a prosperous life in pure, genius, Offerman fashion. LOVED it.

  • Nick Offerman is the MAN

His performance was unforgettable. It was seriously so surreal and absolutely HILARIOUS. normally I would be too lazy to write a review, so you know that it really was GOOD. My face hurt after this show, and he gave some really good life advice that will stick with me FOREVER. SERIOUSLY, GO TO THIS SHOW. IT'S THAT GOOD. listening to him giggle like he does sometimes on parks and rec was an added joy. :)

Nick Offerman has a great stage performance. He knows how to read the audience and feed into the mood of the crowd. To my amusement, his sense of humor is similar to that of his character on Parks and Recreation.

He was awesome, any fan of Parks and Rec will love it!

AMAZING is the perfect word for this event. Nick was fantastic! The perfect mix of personal stories, hilarious suggestions for life and of course, his giggle! Just love him and would see him again and again. I hope to have a marriage as wonderful as Nick and Megan's. Thank you!

  • Surprisingly a lot better than expected

by BentheHat on 2/18/13Wilbur Theatre - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

Nick came out with his shirt off displaying his manliness. He did a lot of talking about life and his wife (Megan Mullally AKA one of his wives in Parks and Rec). He gave us 10 rules to live by that he called American Ham. Long show, last about 2 hours and change. The show was great, was well above the bar that I set for him. Would absolutely recommend to see him if you're a fan of the show, woodworking, or America.

  • Great performance, great venue

by RaiffT on 2/18/13Wilbur Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Nick Offerman was amazing and the Wilbur Theater is a fantastic venue, as always, for bravura comic performances.

  • Nick Offerman is a beautiful, funny man.

Go see his show. His "American Ham" routine was hilarious, as were the Parks & Rec anecdotes. He closed the show with "Bye Bye Lil Sebastian" -- if that means anything to you, you need to go see him.

  • He was great, real and..

by MaldenMom on 2/18/13Wilbur Theatre - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

Entertaining! Comedy and life lessons all combined into one show. Only wished the rude self absorbed woman behind us would learn something, but she probably didn't because she was too busy talking the entire time.

He is funny on TV but he was pretty offensive in person, I think because he blurred the lines between comedy and actually trying to impart "wisdom" to people. I appreciate a good religious joke as much as the next guy, but literally saying your deity is fictional and you are an idiot to believe in God (which was a non-joke part) turned me off from him, and was inappropriate.

I wish I could rate it 3.5 stars. Nick Offerman was definitely funny. I wish that he had more stories and less overarching purpose. He structured his act using lessons from his childhood and while the bits were laugh out loud funny, there was a lot of explaining and it felt preachy at times. He's best when he just lets himself go.

  • very VERY funny!

My girlfriend is a huge fan of NBC's "Parks and Recreationa". Specifically a fan of the character Ron Swanson. I on the other hand, am not. I went to this show not quite knowing what to expect. And to my surprise, he was very, very funny. I would HIGHLY recommend this show.

Nick Offerman is very funny. I would definitely recommend his show to a friend.

  • Offerman was terrible.

by Anonymous on 2/18/13Wilbur Theatre - BostonRating: 2 out of 5

It was more of a lecture than a comedy show. If he mentioned his wife one more time, I would have left even earlier than I did. It's a good thing that I watch Parks and Recreation or I wouldn't have been able to follow along with all the name dropping.

  • Ron Swanson in the Flesh

by TopNotchTommy on 2/17/13Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

If you're a fan of parks and rec then you'll love this show! Unforgettably magical.

  • Mmm...preachy!

    by ntw2 on 2/17/13Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 1 out of 5

The premise of the act is that we should put our phones down, make things with our hands and love one another. I imagine many, including myself, agree with these tenets, but enough with the preachy delivery! Came out feeling worse than when I went in.

  • Offerman = Excellent
