  • Amateur hour geared for the 15 to 20 age group.

by RedskiNED on 2/17/13Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 1 out of 5

Big Parks and Ron Swanson fan so hard to bad mouth Nick but show was awful. Nick's humor seemed to target only males between the ages of 15 to 25. Too heavily laced with amateur sex and drug use jokes that were short on creativity and imagination. Tickets were cheap so that took the sting out. Do recognize that Nick is new at standup but has a LONG way to go.

  • Offerman was hilarious!

The venue was fantastic. We paid for decent seats but it did not seem like there were any bad seats. Mr. Offerman was a true professional who put in the effort necessary to make the event memorable. He was hilarious!

  • Pretty darn funny!

I went to see Nick Offerman's show with my boyfriend, who is a big fan of his and of Parks & Recs. Nick's performance was great and really funny! He wasn't his character from P&R. He talked a bit about his life - gave his 10 tips for life - and sang songs. The crowd was into the show, and I would definitely recommend it if you're thinking about going - even if you're not a huge P&R fan.

  • You will be dissapointed

Great on parks and rec. terrible live. It wasn't anything like what we expected to see

The religious jokes got a little offensive. To much preaching not enough jokes.

Really well balanced show, he performed on his own for 90 minutes, sang some funny tunes (didn't know that was part of his routine). He's just a really funny, real guy, but with many similarities to his Ron Swanson persona. A bit raunchy at times, but mixed in well. Highly recommended!

  • Nick Offerman made me cry tears of joy.

    by obrie4km on 2/17/13Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

NIck Offerman was GREAT! The show was a blast the whole time. I was a little worried that he would try to be mostly like Ron Swanson, but he was so much more honest. It was a fantastic show and I was crying tears from laughter throughout.

  • Should've Stuck to Familiar Material

by Anonymous on 2/17/13Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 2 out of 5

In many ways, Nick Offerman is very similar to Ron Swanson, his famous character on Parks & Recreation. His material related to such things as food, craftwork, and his unique, eloquent delivery was hysterical (make sure you put your phones away). However, much of the event was spent insulting Christianity and making wildly crass jokes about God while saying that those who subscribe to various religions should be decent to each other. Well, apparently that applies to all BUT Christianity. Ultimately, it was disappointing. There was so much inoffensive material that he could've run with, but that all got pushed aside in the name of insulting everything in which a good number of people believe. I'll stick to watching Parks & Recreation for my future Nick Offerman entertainment.

It was absolutely fantastic! Nick Offerman not only gave a hysterical performance but provided some great advice too.

  • Nick Offerman, absolutely hilarious.

Nick Offerman, although he did not come from a stand-up comedy background, puts on a hilarious and extremely entertaining show. He goes through his 10 tips for prosperity, telling stories and singing songs. I would pay to see this show again many more times. If he puts out a record or special from this, I will be first in line to buy it. Absolutely phenomenal.

Not as funny as I would have hoped and weirdly preachy. I didn't even disagree with him, but preachiness in any form usually turns me off.

  • Offerman didn't disappoint

by Ewiss on 2/17/13Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

He was funny from start to end. Would definitely see him again.

  • The Man. The Myth. The Legend.

    by Triff777 on 2/17/13Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Nick Offerman is hilarious. Was a bit more political than expected, so if you are very religious/conservative, you may be offended!

  • A little too much raunch for my liking....

by TreatYoSelf on 10/19/12Royce Hall - UCLA - Los AngelesRating: 2 out of 5

I absolutely love Park and Rec, especially Nick's character on the show, so I obviously jumped at the chance to see him live. It started out hilarious, delving into 10 tips to guide you through life. As the set progressed, however, Nick became extremely dirty and irreverant. I'm all for a dirty joke here and there, but he took it above and beyond, and not it a good way. It became tactles, raunchy and disrespectful, pretty much spitting on the Bible, religion and republicans (none of which I have a strong affiliation with). That didn't bother me as much as the raunchiness did though. It was just unnecessary. I feel like comedians feel obligated nowadays to tell dirty jokes and I just fee like there are so many other ways to get a good laugh out of the audience. I think it shows a lack of depth and creativity. I'm not sure if he was trying to cater to the college audience, but he definitely underestimated our level of maturity and what we would actually find humorous. Ultimately, the show left me with a bad taste in my mouth, and a strong sense of disappointment.

The show was hilarious! Jokes about religion get a little intense, not an issue for me but could offend deeply religious people. Otherwise I thought the dialogue was smart, funny and very very good.

Tasteless and offensive. I expected more from a comedian with such a great character on television. It seems like someone used Christianity to do him wrong at one point in his life and now he has to put down anyone who has faith.

  • Tasty as a BLT!

by NFLZenmaster on 10/2/12Royce Hall - UCLA - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Nick and his show were funny, amusing and a pleasure. Nancy and Beth as the opening were fun and had great voices, and I could listen to Nick Offerman read craigslist ads and it would be hilarious. Go see him!

  • Great show!

    by Pandaface03 on 10/2/12Royce Hall - UCLA - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I loved every minute of it. I laughed so hard that I had a headache. I loved his 10 tips. I loved that Megan was a part of the show. And the Lil Sebastian tribute at the end was the icing on the cake!

  • Nick Offerman Keeping it Classy

    by Charita199 on 10/2/12Royce Hall - UCLA - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

You could definitely tell he was new to stand-up, but it was refreshing to see him out of his character on Parks and Rec. There were also some tidbits or "tips" more from the mouth of Ron Swanson that helped tie the show together. I also enjoyed the musical interludes, his wife's band was fabulous and set a mellow and bluegrass/country vibe. A great show!

  • Crying laughing before he even started talking!

    by Caitlin1 on 10/2/12Royce Hall - UCLA - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Megan Mulally (his wife) and her band opened, and then they did a few songs together. Nick's story-telling was hilarious; he is actually Ron Swanson in real life.
