  • Disappointing

by DinosaurusRex on 11/19/13House of Blues Dallas - DallasRating: 1 out of 5

First, this show was advertised by the ticket seller as being appropriate for all ages. It was not. Crude and vulgar and rarely funny. We enjoy Nick's character on Parks and Rec, but this performance was juvenile and disappointing.

  • Hilarious!!

Nick Offerman's American Ham Tour was fabulous!! He was absolutely hilarious and actually had a great premise to his show. I highly recommend seeing him and I look forward to his next show! Paddle your own canoe!

  • Boring and just not very funny...

by JalTX on 11/19/13House of Blues Dallas - DallasRating: 1 out of 5

A couple of laughs sprinkled throughout 2+hours. We are big Ron Swanson fans and enjoyed Parks and Rec references, but little else. Obviously, we didnt expect Nick Offerman to be in character, but he sure does play up the Ron Swanson angle...just more offensive and condenscending. We tried to make it through the whole show thinking it has to get better but left after 9 of the 10 "life lessons". Maybe number 10 was so prolific it made the show, but highly doubt it.

  • Nick Offerman was very vulgar!!!

Absoutely not what I expected. Offerman was very vulgar and offensive. Not an upbeat show and not appropriate for Homecoming Pep Rally!!!

  • Great performances, but

I really enjoyed Pow Wow, and as and FSU Student I believe it amped me up even more for the game the next day! Retta was hilarious, but Nick Offerman was less than enjoyable. He triggered a few chuckles at the beginning of his bit, then went on a rude tangent that humiliated the Christian Community by mocking the Bible and saying it was stupid. A group of us left early because of Offerman and I will not be going to anything else that features Nick Offerman.

Enthusiasm this year at pow wow paralleled the success of the Seminole football team. The energy was tangible and excitement prevailed throughout. Not so sure I would repeat that version of the Star Spangled Banner but I am sure it was a worthy effort. Not only was this event preparing for the game the next afternoon but longer term, Rose Bowl? Hooray to all those who made such a huge pow wow such an enormous wow!

  • Offerman disappoint

Offensive jokes were made towards so many of my beliefs. I actually walked out and left.

  • Poor comedians

I tried to stay until the end, unlike over 50% of the crowd, but i could not do it. Retta and Offerman failed to deliver. Better research next time FSU!

  • God's gift to man

by zambonijoe on 10/10/13The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

It was what I expected and more. Hard to review it without spoiling anything. With all the garage that is spewed from celebrities it was nice to hear something honest and funny.

  • Ron Swanson is the man

by tonyshaloub on 10/9/13The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Nick Offerman's standup is just perfect, he works in Parks & Rec references while being the manliest man this side of the Mississippi. Punctuated by his effervescent giggling, the evening was full of laughter the whole night through. I'd go see it again if I got the chance, I'd recommend everyone do the same

  • Nick Offerman's American Ham Tour is WORTH it.

    by JZap5 on 10/7/13The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Woo Woo! Nick Offerman is very funny. There are times when you're hearing Ron Swanson, and other times that are unmistakeable Nick - like when he giggles. He giggles a lot. What a fine comedian with a great vocabulary.

  • Mr Offerman was funny but not that funny.

    by Andrew7day on 10/7/13The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

While Mr Offerman was funny and I do think the is an amazing actor. I felt like it went on too long. His show became less of a comedy show and more of a lecture. He got stuck on religion a little to long. He got repetitive and a little boring. I was confused if I was watching NIck Offerman or Ron Swanson. The first 30-50 minutes were funny. His Laugh became the funniest thing.

  • Entertaining and Amusing

  • Nick Offerman tells Truths

by SwansonRules on 10/7/13The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Mr. Offerman put on one great show. Music, stories, and some truthful advice to living life well, all added up to a great night out. Thank you for that. Your hometown of Chicago greatly appreciates you and what you do!

  • Nick Offerman is a riot!

by RagCut on 10/6/13The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Nick has such a refreshing take on everyday life. Everyone needs to follow his guide to delicious living and we'd all be much happier. Unexpected, enlightening and hilariously entertaining. This is a show that you will keep quoting everyday after. It's a must see.

  • Unique and Impressive

by SeanSkyler on 10/6/13The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Not your typical stand up routine, and I mean that in the most flattering and refreshing way possible. Nick takes you through a plethora of topics, all with the distinct comedic sensibility that only he can provide. He delivers this show with classic Cash-esque showmanship reminiscent of something you might imagine seeing at the Grand Ole Opry years ago. My advice, approach this show with an open mind no matter your religious or political stance, it is a comedy show after all. You'll leave, not only entertained but hopefully inspired.

Nick Offerman was very funny. There were several Parks and Recreation references which made it much more enjoyable. Would definitely go again

Nick Offerman is a smart, funny talented man! A delicious treat!

  • Even Offerman's laugh was funny!

by lilpeanut on 10/6/13The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

You know you're in for an interesting evening when the performer has an accordion player for an opening act. Since Offerman is not a stand-up comedian, I wasn't sure what to expect. Apparently some people were offended by his biblical references and walked out halfway through the performance. Their loss. His framework, 10 guidelines of life, was funny and pretty true. The audience even laughed at his giggle!
