About

For the first time in League history, the National Hockey League (NHL) will host outdoor hockey in Florida. Celebrating the explosive growth of hockey in Florida over the last three decades, the League will stage two outdoor games in the Sunshine State during the 2025-26 season with the Tampa Bay Lightning hosting the Boston Bruins in the 2026 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series at Raymond James Stadium on Feb. 1, 2026.

The 2026 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series is the Lightning's second outdoor game appearance, and the Bruins' sixth. Tampa Bay scored a 3-2 victory over the Nashville Predators at Nissan Stadium in Nashville at the 2022 NHL Stadium Series while Boston owns a 4-1 record in outdoor games dating back to the 2010 NHL Winter Classic, a 3-2 overtime win over the Philadelphia Flyers at Fenway Park.

  • NHL Stadium Series at Dodger Stadium

by TriathlonGuy on 1/28/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

The event was amazing! Especially having been to Dodger Stadium for baseball games, it was an awesome experience to see it transformed into something totally different.

  • Great idea, bad planning

by Slayrjd on 1/28/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 3 out of 5

The game and the performances by KISS, Jordan Sparks, and Five for Fighting were great. But the biggest bummer was that Dodger Stadium RAN OUT OF BEER!!!!....TWICE!!!! and they ran out of food...and candy, etc.

At the time of purchase, they should have a much better seating chart that allows the consumer a understanding of where they will be sitting vs. the view of the rink.

  • Awesome event

by Duxfans on 1/28/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

What a great day! As a longtime hockey fan, this was an experience that I will remember forever!! I brought my five year old son, and he had such a blast! There were plenty of great per-game activities for the whole family to enjoy!

  • Ducks vs. Kings

    by HockeyMom714 on 1/28/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Watching an outdoor hockey game in Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium was an awesome experience! Dan Craig and his crew did a marvelous job with the ice. Our seats were in section 4RS Row D. Our view was a lot better than I expected. Able to see the numbers on the back of the jerseys. The weather was great. It was a beautiful night. As far as entertainment, not a huge KISS fan, but I really enjoyed Five for Fighting's performance at intermission. No problems parking in Lot K when we arrived. However, there were long lines of cars waiting to exit Dodger Stadium at the end of the evening, but that's normal LA traffic. We took our time walking to our car. Overall, even though ticket prices were steep, we came for the experience and so happy our Ducks won the game!

  • Stadium Series are a MUST!!

by Omee on 1/28/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Stadium Series game was a great time. I enjoy going to Dodgers games and Kings games, thus making this Kings game a sight to see. The view of the field was just amazing. NHL did a great job putting this together. The only negative part was the lack of organization during the parking and the outdoor activities in Lot 4. Other than that minor hiccup the event was great and I hope it will be done again next year, I'll definitely attend again.

Other than the Kings losing and the Lodge Level (home plate & 3 base side) running out of COLD beer in the 2nd period and could only serve us WARM beer, we had a blast! Next time we spend almost $300 per ticket (yes, our choice) we expect the stadium to not run out of anything!

  • Ducks r 1

It was a great once in a life time experience and it was worth every penny : )

  • by Rbkingme on 1/28/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

The event was amazing!! Everything about the event. It was sort of magical. My son and I felt like we were at a field of dreams. I'm a huge kings fan and anytime they lose, my night is usually ruined. I didn't care so much about their performance this night. My son and I got there as soon as the parking lot opened and didn't want to leave when the game was over. I hope the NHL will bring this outdoor event back to California. Hopefully a SJ/kings matchup!!!

  • FIREWORKS and KISS was awesome

    by SLP27 on 1/28/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

Hockey was B grade. Looked like puck was bouncing. Entertainment was awesome. Doger stadium and bus was not equipped for large amount of people.

  • Kings and Ducks at Dodger Stadium

by CraigStew on 1/28/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

Ok, the event was sort of cool. Hockey outdoors in So. Cal! Ducks won on strong play and the Kings could not pass the puck to be effective and lost. As for the event, who in the production group thought KISS was the appropriate band for this event? They were not. I would have rather heard Aloe Blacc sing his hit song or two then listen to some has been rock band. Also for an event sponsored by Coors light, I had a hard time finding a Coors. Bud was everywhere. I did enjoy my Dodger Dog in January, that was sort of a treat. They should do this again in a couple of years and let the Ducks host the event then maybe in 4-6 years come back to So. Cal and maybe even try it at the Rose Bowl since they tear the grass out after the end of the Rose Bowl game, so nothing to damage there.

  • Night was entertaining

by Smengie on 1/28/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

They did a good job organizing all the events, for that amount t of people. Although they ran out of beer & it was actually visually tough to watch the game from centerfield bleachers. The monitor on the grass and the scoreboard picture moved in opposite directions to the actual game. This made it visually wierd. Over-all the Event was entertaining and nice to attend a little piece of history!

  • not so cold here

by canuckmum on 1/28/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

the venue was perfect, the crowd great. An iconic stadium, 60 degree+ weather, KISS, 5 for fighting, Jordin Sparks, the Great One and oh yes HOCKEY! even with a penalty shot. My daughter went to the game next day in NYC and lets say i got to hold it over her that my game was definitely COOLER but warmer in temp! i would have liked to see more close ups of the players on the jumbotron as rink far away but it was great fun One downside is that after the game- the usual taxis did not arrive, as they would after a Dodger's game and many waited more than 1.5 hours to even see a taxi drive up. the only blemish to a fabulous night

  • by TBRC12 on 1/28/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

The event was set up really well. I think they did the best they could to get everyone to see the game from their seats. We were definitely pleased with our seats! I'm disappointed that the NHL disallowed expanded service to Union Station on the Dodger shuttles; it was an irritation that left fans feeling disrespected at the end of a good event. Additionally, it was reported that there would be a marginal refund on lower reserve tickets, so I purchased mine (of course the day before the new Ticketmaster code came out) and expected to hear more about the credit...but it hasn't ever come up again... All and all a fun experience to witness, regardless if your team won or lost.

Nice seats nice atmosphere ! Would go again, besides the kings not winning , the first ever outdoor dodger stadium classic was well worth the price tag .

  • Game was AWESOME - organization not so great.

    by LA90254 on 1/28/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

I would absolutely attend a Stadium series event again - I grew up in Canada so I'm an avid hockey fan and I loved that we had this event in my city! Even as a Kings fan I'd say Angel stadium would be a better venue - for traffic flow and parking access. The game is the important part and it was a riot. As a kid who played hockey outside all winter, it was super nostalgic and so much fun to see the teams outdoors. KISS was brilliant. On the downside, the event planning and execution was not great. Five for Fighting we LOVE but not a good choice for a hockey game! Lots of sound issues with whoever was running the videotron as well - interrupted game and KISS performance more than once. And the beach volleyball was just silly.

  • Not so Great

by fdup on 1/28/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 1 out of 5

Would only recommend this event by telling people not to sit in the outfield at all, even the highest point in the outfield.... We walked to the very top and still couldn't see anything... $150.00 for each ticket to sit in the out field and watch the game on the monitor. Horrible view.could only see the tops of the players heads

Great event held at an iconic stadium. Hope they do this again!
