About

For the first time in League history, the National Hockey League (NHL) will host outdoor hockey in Florida. Celebrating the explosive growth of hockey in Florida over the last three decades, the League will stage two outdoor games in the Sunshine State during the 2025-26 season with the Tampa Bay Lightning hosting the Boston Bruins in the 2026 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series at Raymond James Stadium on Feb. 1, 2026.

The 2026 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series is the Lightning's second outdoor game appearance, and the Bruins' sixth. Tampa Bay scored a 3-2 victory over the Nashville Predators at Nissan Stadium in Nashville at the 2022 NHL Stadium Series while Boston owns a 4-1 record in outdoor games dating back to the 2010 NHL Winter Classic, a 3-2 overtime win over the Philadelphia Flyers at Fenway Park.

  • Atmosphere was great!

    by rogga77 on 2/23/16TCF Bank Stadium - MinneapolisRating: 4 out of 5

The Atmosphere was incredible surrounding the game. The NHL did a great job outside the stadium getting fan involved with some of the different booths! My only complaint was that we purchased our tickets through ticket master and we did not get the souvenir tickets that it seemed as if everyone else had and we and to wait for them to come into the mail like everyone else as well.

Fun event and great weather. Just wish the game would have been closer

  • NHL STADIUM SERIES GARBAGE

by Hockeyfanvegas on 2/12/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 1 out of 5

This game was garbage. The venue, dodger stadium is a dump. Traffic was horrible The fan experience was a disgrace. Lines for everything. And the free swag was all garbage. The staff running it were unprofessional and unorganized. The fans were not into the game, KISS was a disgrace. They looked like they could care less about being there. They sang like garbage, the vollyball court was dumb, way too much going on. Wayne Gretzky. Looked like even he didn't want to be there. The merchandise booths were under stocked and overpriced, the lines were a joke. Way to long, overall I will never go to n outdoor game again, it was like watching a hockey game on TV. With the sound off. Terrible time, never agin, I wish I could get my money back .

  • No beer, no food, no water before 1st intermission

by FitteacherLA on 2/10/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 1 out of 5

This experience was very disappointing for an NHL fan. The seats were horrible. Not only could I not see the puck, I could not even see the ice. From where I sat, I could see the players from hips up. I watched the entire game on the jumbotron. The seats were $150 each to watch the game on a giant tv. As if the seats weren't bad enough, the stadium then ran out of beer, food and water prior to the first intermission. This may have been only in the section where I was, however, that section does not connect to the rest of the stadium, so there was no remedy. We were told that the only food available was a churro. They left fans waiting through the entire 20 minute intermission and half way through the second period by telling us they were bringing in more food and beer. They never replaced the food. After 30 minutes in line, they brought about 100 beers for several hundred people. Those beers were warm, so they served them with cups of ice. Of course, they offered no discounted price. When they arrived with the beer, they decided to inform the lines of people that it would be cash only. It was a very expensive and disappointing evening. The NHL set the price for seats that should have been a fraction of that price. Dodger Stadium failed miserably and treated NHL fans horribly. The outdoor experience should have been amazing and exciting, yet it was the most disappointing sporting event I have attended in my over 20 years as a hockey fan.

  • Well that was different

Seeing ice hockey outdoors in LA was interesting. Kinda fun. The peripheral events were a bit odd. The random summer activities going on in the outfield especially. So staged.

This was my first time in California and seeing my favorite hockey team made the time even more spectacular. The whole event made the day and night a time I would never forget.

  • not a hockey stadium

by Hockeyball on 1/30/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 1 out of 5

I was dissapointed in the seat i payed full price for. (reserved section $150. plus fees apiece) We were so far away from the action and it was a very lackluster performance. I would not recommend the stadium series to anyone.

NHL hockey outside in SoCal on a beautiful evening with 55,000 friends is just too much of an experience to miss. What a blast!

  • NHL Stadium Series at Dodger Stadium

by Anonymous on 1/29/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

It was everything we hoped for specially the Hockey was GREAT! A once in a lifetime game to see. The only un organized part was the merchandise sales they had far too little of the merchandise and their way of pulling and paying for the merchandise was completely in efficient. But the whole event was so well done.

  • by Anonymous on 1/29/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 2 out of 5

The view from the seats were horrible you had to watch the big screen in order to see what was happening and even then the big screen was kind of out of sight.

  • And eventually there was a hockey game, sort of.

by luckry on 1/29/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 3 out of 5

For the NHL Mission accomplished.Packed house,no weather problems,I came to see the hockey game.Rather annoying that it did not start until 7.15,when told 6.30,and very annoying that there were so many distractions while trying to watch and concentrate on the game.

  • by Satyrdancing on 1/28/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

It was a very fun event. I met both Kings and Duck fans and we all were there to celebrate Southern California Hockey. KISS was awesome, and so was the USC Trojan Marching Band. All in all, a fantastic event, even though the Kings lost.

  • NHL stadium series - anaheim ducks v LA kings

    by HockeyMom1366 on 1/28/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

This stadium series event will be hard to beat. It was a well orchestrated event. From KISS performing to begin the event, to the USC marching band leading the opposing teams into dodger stadium, to the game brown the rival teams. It was all a perfect performance, and will never come close to being duplicated.

  • An unforgettable night

    by Brooktrout5 on 1/28/14Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

While my seat was not that great it was awesome just watching an outdoor hockey game in beautiful Southern California. This was truly an event that I can check off my bucket list and can't wait to go again.
