    ABSOLUTELY WORTH EVERY PENNY

by JRBlind on 8/2/16Cadillac Palace - Chicago

This is the second time my husband and I have seen the show. We saw it in Milwaukee and then Chicago with our daughter . Would recommend it to all - young and old. Energy is amazing and so is the set. As a backstage worker and an actor I was impressed with everything.

    Newsies was FANTASTIC!

    by MamacitaOf2 on 8/2/16Cadillac Palace - Chicago

We sat orchestra center, row G. The seats were amazing. We could hear every word clearly, and see every facial expression. Great seats! This cast is fantastic! They put on a stupendous show. The tumbling and dancing were breathtaking, and the singing was wonderful, too. I have only great things to say about this production. This was our first time seeing this show, and now we are big fans! If you are thinking about seeing this show, DO IT! There's a few curse words, but your kids probably have heard them before when you've stubbed your toe or stepped on a Lego barefoot. Other than that, the show is very family friendly. Also, Julian DeGuzman played Romeo during our show. He was great! So awesome for my kids to see a fellow Filipino performer up there, and feel represented.

    Quite Extraordinary!

by CadillacDave on 8/2/16Cadillac Palace - Chicago

This was one of the best Broadway musicals I've seen. The show was top notch from the music, vocal harmonies, dance numbers and the excellent stage production using state of the art technology. Will try and see this again before it's over. Too bad the production is only here for such a short run.

    Newsies is a can't miss!

by Hollymickey on 8/2/16Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Been a fan since1992 with the movie and have been waiting for my chance to see the musical since it first was being developed. Love what they changed in the storyline but still miss some of the original. What didn't change was the awesome dancing. I couldn't imagine doing that eight shows a week.

    REMARKABLE

by FISHMISER on 8/2/16Cadillac Palace - Chicago

First off - I'm not a big play fan, but my wife wanted to see Newsies so I bought tickets several months ago. The show was a little long, but absolutely fantastic. The dancing was FABULOUS !! The gentlemen that played Jack Kelly was amazing (along with the entire crew). I started delivering newspaper when I was 10 years old and the little boy in Newsies reminded me of myself many years ago. I'd highly recommend the show for anyone that is thinking about going.

by Evanstonian on 8/1/16Cadillac Palace - Chicago

I enjoyed Newsies very much. Sometimes the dialogue was a little hard to decipher but the dancing was great, the story was uplifting, and the guys had energy to spare. All the kids in the audience loved it and everyone left the theater smiling!

    Loved this show!

    by ChelseaB2 on 8/1/16Cadillac Palace - Chicago

The set was great! It was my first time seeing the show and I loved it. The acting was great and I enjoyed the dancing/gymnastics. Some of the singers were not that strong. (This may have been my seat since I was on the far right of the stage.) Overall great performance. I would recommend it to anyone. I got a shiver and I was so touched by the story.

Childhood Nostalgia and Broadway Magic Combine

by mydearwatson on 8/1/16Cadillac Palace - Chicago

I saw the Disney movie Newsies on a monthly basis growing up, but I had never seen the Broadway musical version. Even from one of the farthest back seats, I was amazed by the athletic and masculine style of dancing that was perfectly choreographed for the setting. And the acting was excellent as well, despite my expectations - I thought it might be slightly cheesy because of the origin. 10/10 would recommend for a family or a group of friends or a date...it's just a delightful, well-done show.
