First WNBA game and was very impressed with the atmosphere that was created. Definitely will be attending another game when I am back in New York!
Listen, the Barclays Center knows how to host events, period. This is my second basketball game - but I've seen concerts and boxing hosted here too - and not ONCE have I been disappointed. One of the best managed venues by far.
Engaged, Excited and informed Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
i am a ride or die WNBA fan, the liberty is amazing, our roster this year is to die for. the game was so great. so fun and exciting. i brought my parents who were skeptical if it would be fun or not and they had a great time. it was too loud, though. i can do a loud event, i'm a born and raised new yorker, but man it was just too loud. i didn't love the emcee/host girl either. and because the volume levels were so harsh, her voice came out so shrill and it was just grating.
Loved watching the Liberty (albeit they lost), was expecting more screeching kids given it was campers day, but the venue and occasion made it a great day and to be fair all the groups were well Behaved… I would recommend more people go and support the WNBA… as usual in American sports they appear to value spectators and make it an occasion
The game was awesome. It was really special to see my first game in my hometown. I currently Live in Pennsylvania. There’s nothing like being at home. The crowd was amazing the support surrounding the liberty was incredible. The halftime shows were good. There could’ve been more concessions stands open. We had a choice of two. Other than that it was perfect.
We had an amazing day at the game. Everything was perfect! concessions, stores and the game was amazing. The kids and I fell in love with Ellie!
It was great, I saw Lisa Leslie, Floyd Mayweather, cuttino Mobley, Nancy lieberman and another celebrity and I get the to see the game in good fashion and I'm thinking about bringing someone else to the Liberty game next time
Amazing match and Show ! All the family very loved this night at Barclays Center and the victory of NY Liberty with the french player Marine Johannes ! ;)
Very exciting and thrilling game that was beautifully interactive looked very supportive of New York Cities Current Economy and welcoming to all and Inspiring.
Coming from Belgium with my granddaughter it was a great experience for her to be able to watch some of her favorite players perform
The game was surprisingly close given the standings--a real nail-biter during the last few minutes. Fortunately Stewie was red hot and helped the Liberty pull it out. She is a force of nature! As a long-time UCONN Huskies fan, I also marveled at Diana Taurasi's continuing intensity and top level skills. Am taking one star away due to the ear-splitting decibel level (way louder than any sporting event I have ever attended), with the crowd urged on by signs to make more noise. No surprise that hearing loss is a serious issue, even for younger people. I will bring ear plugs to the next game for sure.
We're from England. We have no sports experience like this! The atmosphere is fun, energetic, family-friendly and SO thrilling. The scores are so close, the game so fast, it was a fantastic start to our trip from England.
I picked my seat so of course it was perfect! I could swe the players go in and out of the tunnel. They partially interact with fans so that ain't the best feeling since most of the fans pay to see them play and would like a smile of acknowledgement.
Had an incredible time at the NY Liberty vs Phoenix Mercury game. It was such an amazing environment to be apart of. We watched some amazing athletes. Really enjoyed the set up of the arena as well!
Barclays center only had about 1/3 of the concession stands open for the NY Liberty game so the wait times were terrible. I’m sure they are fully open for the Nets but are short changing the Liberty.
I had great seats fot goid price..I was seven rows from the floor andcthatcwas my first game i went..Definitely coming back to see another.
It was awesome!!!! I moved to New York almost a year ago so I’m a Liberty fan now, plus we’ve got a great team. It was so nice seeing people come together to support the team. LFG
i did not like some of the players not being able to play
I was sitting in the upper level at barclays center, I did have a little trouble finding the section however I did ask for help, the arena looks great and I would recommend anybody to go there
