Expensive Event
by Villa on 3/30/23Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5It was a nice event. But the beer was way to expensive (almost 20$ per glass) and the t-shirt thrower/cannons do not reach the cheaper sets in the second level.

New York Knicks History
The Knicks were established in 1946 and were one of the founding members of the Basketball Association of America, which became the NBA after merging with the National Basketball League in 1949. The Knicks and Boston Celtics are the only two original NBA teams still located in their original cities.
The Knicks saw early success, advancing to the NBA Finals in three consecutive years from 1950 to 1953. They lost all three series, twice to the Minneapolis Lakers and once to the Rochester Royals. The franchise’s next successful era began in the late '60s, under the tutelage of head coach Red Holzman. They won 54 games in Holzman's first full season as head coach in the 1968–69 season, then improved to 60 wins the following year. The Knicks won their first NBA Championship in 1970, defeating the Los Angeles Lakers in seven games. Holzman won Coach of the Year, while center Willis Reed won NBA MVP and Finals MVP.
Holzman and Reed led the Knicks back to the finals in two of the next three seasons, facing the Lakers both times. They split those two series, winning their second championship in the 1972–73 season.
The Knicks did not experience success again until the '90s, when future Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing led them back to the NBA Finals in 1993–94 and 1998–99. They lost both series, first in seven games to the Houston Rockets, then in five games to the San Antonio Spurs.
The Knicks traded for star Carmelo Anthony from the Denver Nuggets in 2011. He proved to be an elite scorer, but team success eluded the Knicks. They made it to the playoffs three times in Anthony's seven-year tenure with the team, winning one series in 2013.
The Knicks reached the playoffs once again during the 2020–21 season, reinvigorated by power forward Julius Randle, who was awarded the NBA’s Most Improved Player distinction in 2021, and advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals in 2023 with the additional firepower of newly-acquired point guard Jalen Brunson. The Knicks most recently reached the Eastern Conference Finals in the 2025 NBA playoffs, marking their first appearance in the conference finals since the 1999-2000 season.

Excellent shopping experience and easy access to the stadium with the ticket in the apple wallet. For foreign visitors, it should be possible to download the Ticketmaster App from the Apple Store from abroad, since we bought from our country and traveled for the event but we could never download the App due to country restrictions. Since we had Apple Wallet, we easily accessed it, but Android users do not have this facility.
Amazing stadium and amazing seats. Even though at the back we got front row seats and still felt so close to the game.
This was our first MSG experience and a birthday celebration event while on holiday in the US. This event exceeded our expectations in every sense - from the quality of the venue facilities and seating, to the on-court entertainment between plays through to the athleticism of the players from both teams. This wasn't just a game, it was a celebration of excellence.
Had a wonderful time. My wife Lucy loves the atmosphere at the Garden. It was electric there.
Fantastic experience for foreign people like me, I hope to go again.
Our best day in NYC by far, so much fun! Would highly recommend booking this if you’re a tourist heading to NYC
MY wife and myself both went to MADISON SQUARE GARDEN TO SEE OUR FIRST KNICKS GAME . WE REALY ENJOYED OURSELVES NOT JUST SEEING THE TEAM IN PERSON, BUT ESPECIALLY HOW M.S.G. & KNICKS ORGANIZATION HAD KNICKS CITY DANCERS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES FOR FANS
I had a great time. The ushers and security were very nice and helpful. I hope to attend another game soon.
Garden was rocking. Amazing energy, entertaining half time shows. Lots of gifts. Will return. And the knicks showed out
It s ok ! Enjoy moment ! It s very interesting ! It s. A good game !
First to the Madison and it was perfect ! The sit are very great.
Had a great night with the Knicks at MSG although they lost the game. I came here during my visit in NYC. It is definitely an amazing experience (in particular, for a non-American like me) to enjoy an NBA match at this outstanding place.
The event was amazing, also the MSG, but at the exit, the safety was not that well because of the constructions. We have to pass under the construction, a lot of people and not so many space to walk
Great game, great place! Good view, access with mobilephone very easy.
Awesome great astmisphe to be in the house of MSG!,.Nonplace I rather be than in New York city
This was my husbands first real Knicks game and it was so worth it. The seats were OK and the game was excellent . t was east to pick the seats we wanted when we were buying them on the Ticketmaster site. I highly recommend Ticketmaster, MSG and the New York Knicks. LGK!!!!!!!
The seats price was 500 dollars face value. Club seats. The location was good But it only came with nothing. Knicks are on fire so great game. But no real amenities.
Absolutely an amazing experience, do easy to buy the tickets and to use them when we got to the venues
we enjoy the game, and the T-SHIRT although we did not get one, maybe next time. Celebrities, former players, dance, singing the whole works. Thank you.
