New York Giants History
A cornerstone franchise of the National Football League, the New York Giants began play in 1925. Legally, the Giants are named “The New York Football Giants,” which distinguished them from the “New York Giants” baseball team that called New York their home until 1975, before moving to San Francisco.
As one of the most awarded franchises in history, the Giants have won eight league championships — including a victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI, their second in five seasons. The Giants (also known as the G-Men, the Jints and the Big Blue Wrecking Crew) are the only franchise in the NFL with a Super Bowl victory in each of the last four decades.

New York Giants at MetLife Stadium
The Giants are an institution with a storied history, and loyal fans can remember games at Yankees Stadium in the Bronx, Shea Stadium in Queens, the Yale Bowl, and Giants Stadium. MetLife Stadium, which became the Giants’ home stadium starting in 2010, is housed at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and is also home to the New York Jets, making it one of only two stadiums shared by two NFL teams.
The stadium cost approximately $1.6 billion to construct, which at the time made it the most expensive stadiums to be built in the U.S. With a capacity of 82,500, MetLife Stadium is one of the largest stadiums in the NFL. The stadium has hosted such major sporting events as the first outdoor, cold-weather Super Bowl XLVIII, Copa America Centenario Final, and the 2021 Army-Navy Game. It will also serve as a site for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The New York Giants have reached the Super Bowl five times (1987, 1991, 2001, 2008, and 2012), winning all games except for one — Super Bowl XXXV in 2001 where they lost 34-7 to the Baltimore Ravens.
It was an awesome experience. I was very pleased with the way the event was planned and I was happy to be part of it. I was happy to see alumnus in the crowd and how they reacted when approached by us, the fans.

General admission, we got to sit anywhere there was space , and the food vendors was great
Great time at the practices. Everything well organized and fan/family friendly. My only negative was the price gouging by the vendor selling Giants items.
Although I’ve been a Giants fan for about let’s say 23 years now and not only was that my first fan fest but my first time to Met Life. It’s an experience I’ll never forget. I love my Giants. Let’s go Big Blue
Great evening. Fantastic event for the whole family !!! Giants fans young and old enjoyed the experience of the players coming out and interacting with the fans,the fun for kids out front in the plaza areas, former giant great signing autographs, to a DJ playing !!! I highly recommend to all fans of fun and football !!! GO GIANTS !!!

Nice family scenery. Good interaction with the players and coaches. Even though it was hot, it felt awesome to know football was back. Its always good to see other Giants fans there as well. Fireworks was spectacular and over all i have a Great time at Metlife.. Giants fan fest, cant wait for next years one but even better, for the season to begin. Let's go G-Men!
This was fun, and I appreciate the event. But you guys are going downhill the last couple years. In 2019 the 'Little Giants' viewing rally on the field was one of the coolest and most fun memories in mine or my daughter's life so far. I wish you would do something like that again. The players family and friends are allowed to go on the field; but they get paid and pampered the whole season, while we the fans/season ticket holders pay thousands upon thousands to be there. That fan fest day is supposed to be for US- the fans. It's frustrating when it becomes once again, another day all about the players. Other teams like the Raiders have incredible season ticket displays and do awesome things to honor their fans way more than the Giants do nowadays; especially since 2019.

Great experience with friends, excellent seats tones of entertainment and fun.
The event was great. Little to no complaints. The activities for the kids was a lot of fun. It was a lil hard finding the “legends” to get signatures. Bubba burger was good but the burger was way over cooked. That’s my only real complaint. The seats were slightly dirty (but that’s from no use throughout the off season). Employees were very informative and helpful.
First time at Met life stadium it was beautiful the staff was very helpful and vey family oriented and the seats where AMAZING
The fan fest was so much fun. The fireworks were awesome. The parking and seating was great. The only thing that was not so great was how long it took to get food in line. I was there for almost 40 minutes.
Fan Fest FAQ clearly stated that helmets could be brought in the stadium, without specifying about helmet size. My son brought his full size helmet for autographs, only to be turned away…the reason? Only 1/3 scale helmets were allowed. I have to hand it to the Giants….their efforts to alienate fans has now extended to kids and off field activities, as if the in field product want bad enough. The Giants have seen the last of me, 41 years after I became a fan.
It’s always excellent to see my favorite team whether it’s practice or scrimmage or a real game. I was excited to be there and I’m looking forward to a good season. I love the new GM and entire staffing. Let’s gooooo!!!!! BIG BLUE 4life
