About

Rambunctious, Danish indie rockers New Politics formed in the late 2000s around the talents of vocalist David Boyd, guitarist/vocalist/keyboard player Søren H, and drummer Poul Amaliel. The band’s high-energy, guitar-driven blend of punk, pop, and electronically induced dance rock (Boyd specializes in wildly unpredictable stage posturing) eventually caught the ears (and eyes) of RCA, who signed the group in 2009. Fearing American anonymity, the band relocated to New York City, or more specifically, the indie rock center of the universe, Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Their self-titled debut full-length was released in July of 2010. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi

  • Seating

When I bought the tickets it had a ride and a seat number. When I got there it was standing only unless you wanted to upgrade.

  • Easily the best night of my year

These guys REALLY know how to give a performance!!! The venue was nice, the sound quality was amazing, and they’re just super fun and talented. I’d absolutely love to see them again!

Mini rock opera. Pretty intense experience. Takes you on a ride with the band.

  • Best Concert Ever

I have been to countless concerts in my lifetime and New Politics always over delivers. The most energy I've ever seen from live performers and to add The Mowgli's and Plain White T's to that was unreal. Absolutely the best tour I've ever gone to (especially bc it's also the first time I've felt like writing a Ticketmaster review about a show)

  • Excellent Energy

The venue was great - sold out but not too crowded with a good bar and non pushy security. Really good crowd and I got into the venue with my ticket super fast. THE BAND WAS AMAZING. I think this is gonna be one of my favorite shoes Ive ever been too. Songs were great, crowd was psyched and the energy level was through the roof. Come back to Boston please!!! I would definitely see again.

  • Awesome Show, a Bit Roudy Crowd

This show was my 5th for New Politics, and they did not disappoint! They were so happy and smiley it was contagious, the room was full of energy. It was my second show with Dreamers and they were such edgy and fun performers. Their set was also really great, although a bit short bc I wanted to hear more songs!!! :) It was my first time listening to the Wrecks and they put on a solid show and definitely got the crowd going! The only issue I had throughout the night (which isn’t the issue of the bands or the venue) was a few severely disrespectful kids who thought it was an opportunity to have a mosh pit where I was (this is an alt. show with slow songs, not Warped Tour thank you) and shoved me around/headbanged into me substantially more than I would have liked. Other than that the show was great and I’d highly recommend. Just maybe bring a tall friend who can protect you if you’re a short girl next time :)

I always love seeing New Politics! They bring a great energy and always give 110%!! Boston was their third to last show so I could tell they were getting tired and ready to go home to their families but they still killed it!

Amazing line up! The Wrecks as usual did not disappoint! This band is just amazing, the songs get you moving, the band gets you pumped and are super kind to sign your ticket or take a picture. This was our third time seeing them and will definitely see them again. The Dreamers were new for us, and all I can say is wow!! I haven't stopped listening to their record since. Nick's voice is hypnotic. They were amazing and we are looking forward to seeing them again. New Politics put it all out there. This was our second time seeing them and they always put on such a great show. They really leave it all out there, fantastic. The TLA is a great location. Easy to get in and out of and what's not to love about South Street!!
