About

NEW EDITION IN CONCERT:

Style and charisma never go out of fashion, and legendary R&B group New Edition is a case in point. Paving the way for the boy band movement of the '80s and '90s with their meticulously coordinated image and tight vocal interplay, Bobby Brown and company continue to be the stuff of teen dreams, bringing audiences to their feet for a trip down memory lane at their dazzling live shows. Reunited (and it feels so good, ) the band's six original members hit the road in 2014 for a much-anticipated tour, treating fans to their finely-tailored threads and hits like "Candy Girl" and  "Cool It Down."

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Formed in Boston in 1978, New Edition hit the big time with their 1983 debut album Candy Girl, landing three singles on the charts and becoming an overnight sensation with their boyish charm and carefully crafted image. Their self-titled 1984 sophomore album was an even bigger hit, topping the R&B chart on the strength of era classics like "Cool It Now" and "Mr. Telephone Man." The band's success in the mid-'80s was so considerable that it launched Bobby Brown to solo career stardom, with several other members finding success as spinoff group Bell Biv DeVoe in the '90s. Over the years New Edition has released seven studio albums, weathering hiatuses and reunions, but have rarely been joined by Brown in concert, making his presence on their 2014 tour all the more special.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"New Edition was on last and I had been waiting all day. They did not disappoint. It was so good seeing them live. They looked great and performed songs from each phase of their careers."

"It was the best concert ever. They still look the same and they still could move. It was just like when i was younger and I saw them. I felt like a teenager."

"I knew this was going to be good and it truly was!!! New Edition has never let me down. Back in the day they were terrific and they still are. They are true entertainers!"

As always New Edition show up and show out. I LOVE seeing them perform they never disappoint. All Six on stage is everything seeing the support they have for each other makes me happy. This was my first time going to their Residency and I loved every minute of it. The only thing was the Meet and Greet was canceled. I was too excited to get a picture with all six. NE4LIFE

Concert Review: New Edition’s Las Vegas Residency – A Legendary Experience For four decades, New Edition has defined R&B excellence, evolving from teenage heartthrobs to seasoned showmen with an enduring legacy. Their Las Vegas residency is not just a concert—it’s a celebration of their impact, a masterclass in performance, and a nostalgic journey for lifelong fans like myself. From the moment the lights dimmed and the first beats of Candy Girl hit, the energy in the venue was electric. Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky, Mike, Ralph, and Johnny took the stage with the same charisma that made them icons in the ‘80s, proving that time has only refined their artistry. Their chemistry was undeniable, moving seamlessly through their extensive catalog with precision and passion. The setlist was a perfect mix of classics and deep cuts, giving fans everything from Mr. Telephone Man to Can You Stand the Rain and the high-energy If It Isn’t Love. The choreography was tight, a testament to their relentless dedication, and their vocals—especially Ralph’s smooth falsetto and Johnny’s powerhouse delivery—were as strong as ever. Bobby Brown brought his signature flair, and seeing him perform My Prerogative was a highlight, reminding us why he remains the “King of Stage.” Beyond the music, the production was top-tier. The stage design, lighting, and visuals enhanced the experience without overshadowing the essence of the group: pure talent and brotherhood. They took moments to engage with the audience, sharing memories and expressing gratitude, making the night feel personal and intimate despite the grand setting. New Edition’s residency is more than just a show—it’s a statement that R&B legends don’t fade; they evolve, inspire, and continue to set the bar. After 40 years of being a fan, seeing them live in Las Vegas felt like a full-circle moment, a reminder of why they remain one of the greatest groups of all time. If you ever get the chance, don’t miss this experience. It’s a must-see for any true NE fan.

by CDJ on 2/24/25Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Their performance and catalog was superb. The show was fire. We stood up and danced the whole time and swayed with the slow songs. The seats we had were in the 2nd row. All 6 of them were present. If you are a New Edition fan it is a must see. 🥰💯

New Edition left it all on the stage! They poured their hearts and souls out for 2 solid hours. A wonderful trip down memory lane with so many hits. The venue was the perfect size for this intimate setting.

  • Amazing Show

by Jakemom on 2/24/25Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was amazing!! All six members were present and left it all on the stage. I’ve seen them before with other groups, but nothing compared to this!! It was worth the trip, they owe me nothing. They ate from vocals to choreography! Great Job! It was 🔥🔥🔥! If you didn’t check it out then you missed a treat. My sister and I have only one regret, we didn’t purchase merchandise.

  • Awesome show!

by Tiffy on 2/24/25Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

No other acts needed, NE is the opening middle and closing act all themselves! Great show from have NE to all the individual solo careers that had hits as well. A great show! You can tell they have been through life together and the end result of being still together and having fun shows on stage. I wanted another hour! 😂 Great show and must see.

  • Amazing concert

by NE4LIFE on 2/24/25Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was amazing! This is the second time I've been to the Encore, and would definitely go again. The Encore seats are great. The only downside was people walked to the front and stood at the stage. They were standing in front of those with front row seats. Security should have intervened.

  • OMG, They shut it down

  • I was a 72 Year Old Candy Girl

by Old Skool on 2/23/25Rating: 5 out of 5

New Edition was SPECTACULAR!!! It is hard to pick out the best part because each song was better than the last. They did a tribute to The Spinners that included “Rubber Band Man”. I was impressed by how they got the crowd into a song that some had probably never heard. Bobby Brown was honest, entertaining and a team player. I am a fan of “Fat” Bobby Brown. I always thought of NE and Bobby as a teeny bopper band …but let me tell you, they are full grown men. Every member of the band performed above my memory of their ability and left me wanting more. I came to Vegas to see them and will come back EVERY time they are performing. The Wynn was the perfect venue because it was easily accessible and very comfortable. NE is one of the hottest concerts, with good reason, and whether you’re 27 or 72 you can and will enjoy these guys. I am hoarse from screaming and wondering if Medicare will pay for a throat replacement since I burned mine out yelling B O B B Y!!!!!!!!!!!!’!!!!!!!!!!!! J O H N N Y!!!!!! R A L P H !!!! If you can only see one concert this year, make it the NE and see it twice.

  • Unforgettable memories- worth the trip

by JFHou on 2/22/25Rating: 5 out of 5

OMG! I do not know where to begin to express the appreciation for New Edition as a group and to each and every individual artist that makes them who they are. They took me back to elementary school, middle school, high school, young adulthood through every decade. Every song played a role and brought back so many memories. Their voices, dance moves, costumes, interaction with the fans, everything single solitary thing WOWED my husband and I. So glad we made the trip from Houston to Vegas to see them in concert, recommend 100000%.
