NEW EDITION IN CONCERT:
Style and charisma never go out of fashion, and legendary R&B group New Edition is a case in point. Paving the way for the boy band movement of the '80s and '90s with their meticulously coordinated image and tight vocal interplay, Bobby Brown and company continue to be the stuff of teen dreams, bringing audiences to their feet for a trip down memory lane at their dazzling live shows. Reunited (and it feels so good, ) the band's six original members hit the road in 2014 for a much-anticipated tour, treating fans to their finely-tailored threads and hits like "Candy Girl" and "Cool It Down."
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Formed in Boston in 1978, New Edition hit the big time with their 1983 debut album Candy Girl, landing three singles on the charts and becoming an overnight sensation with their boyish charm and carefully crafted image. Their self-titled 1984 sophomore album was an even bigger hit, topping the R&B chart on the strength of era classics like "Cool It Now" and "Mr. Telephone Man." The band's success in the mid-'80s was so considerable that it launched Bobby Brown to solo career stardom, with several other members finding success as spinoff group Bell Biv DeVoe in the '90s. Over the years New Edition has released seven studio albums, weathering hiatuses and reunions, but have rarely been joined by Brown in concert, making his presence on their 2014 tour all the more special.

Although, I saw them twice last year and twice the year before I will never get tired of seeing them. I'm thankful they still tour and entertain us candy girls we adore them. The Wynn hotel was amazing the concert was exceptional. See you all in July!

by Francy on 3/9/24The NE Vegas Residency was EVERYTHING!!!! I attended the 2nd night of the residency w/my sister and teen daughter…we had OUTSTANDING seats!!!! We were on our feet the entire time singing to every single song! They put on quite the performance; actually it was better than their concerts as this venue made it quite intimate. The entire group showed up and showed out collectively and individually. Bobby was amazing as well, you can definitely tell he put in the work as he didn’t miss a beat/step/high-note….and as a true NE4LIFER, I can certainly appreciate the dedication!!! The residency began on time, the group was extremely energetic, the lights and setting were powerful and amazing, the order of the set was awesome and kept the crowd engaged, the outfits were on point, and the surprise balloon drop & heart confetti drop added a nice touch to the show. Not really a complaint but I wish the show was just a tad bit longer (was approximately 1.5 -2 hours start-finish). Will definitely be back for the July show!!!!!❤️

It is such a pleasure to see a group that truly respects their craft AND audience. I mean, those brothas were SHARP! Dance moves on point! Singing on point! Crowd, on point!! Just a wonderful, wonderful time. HIGHLY recommend their show! I saw them last year for the Legacy tour and then came to Vegas for the residency. I would see them again in a heartbeat! And with the residency, it seems like they are getting the rest they need without having to be in a different city every day. So so great. Yay NE!! Also, the Encore is a great venue. I was in the mezzanine and the views were great!

The show highlighted their group careers and also their solo and spinoff careers. Show was 2 hours long with no opening acts, which was a plus. Costumes, stage design, visual effects… everything was perfect. Venue was small so there really wasn’t a bad seat in the house. I had a perfect view from the Mezzanine level (center). I will likely go again this summer. Don’t miss this experience!!!!
