NEW EDITION IN CONCERT:
Style and charisma never go out of fashion, and legendary R&B group New Edition is a case in point. Paving the way for the boy band movement of the '80s and '90s with their meticulously coordinated image and tight vocal interplay, Bobby Brown and company continue to be the stuff of teen dreams, bringing audiences to their feet for a trip down memory lane at their dazzling live shows. Reunited (and it feels so good, ) the band's six original members hit the road in 2014 for a much-anticipated tour, treating fans to their finely-tailored threads and hits like "Candy Girl" and "Cool It Down."
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Formed in Boston in 1978, New Edition hit the big time with their 1983 debut album Candy Girl, landing three singles on the charts and becoming an overnight sensation with their boyish charm and carefully crafted image. Their self-titled 1984 sophomore album was an even bigger hit, topping the R&B chart on the strength of era classics like "Cool It Now" and "Mr. Telephone Man." The band's success in the mid-'80s was so considerable that it launched Bobby Brown to solo career stardom, with several other members finding success as spinoff group Bell Biv DeVoe in the '90s. Over the years New Edition has released seven studio albums, weathering hiatuses and reunions, but have rarely been joined by Brown in concert, making his presence on their 2014 tour all the more special.

I cannot count the number of New Edition concerts I have attended, but my first one was in Chicago in 1988 when Bobby performed as a solo act. I have waited for a New Edition Vegas residency for at least a decade, and my favorite group did not disappoint. Every member of NE had their time to shine during this show. The choreography, clothes, dancers, and background images were on point. Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky, Mike, Ralph, and Johnny looked and sounded amazing! I enjoyed the new material which was tributes to other legendary groups. My only wish is that someone in the NE camp grants me the opportunity to return in July as a birthday gift. GO TO SEE NEW EDITION this summer!

It was my first time to Vegas and I was celebrating my birthday. This was the best birthday seeing my faves rock that stage and I got the chance to meet all six this time 💚

We were on our feet the entire time! I loved how they incorporated all of the groups individual artist performances! I did not want this concert to end! I would definitely attend again! I highly recommend this concert!

They have been together for 40 years and the love and respect they have for one another is apparent. If you get the change go see this show-You won't regret it.

So glad we decided to celebrate my birthday with a trip to Vegas, a luxurious stay at the Wynn, and to see this show. I highly recommend it and thinking about coming back in July when they return.

Good to hear mix of Johnny, Ralph, Bobby and BBD along with New Edition hits. Performers were ageless! And Bobby “did GOOD!” Venue was cozy so intimate. Wynn was easy to get to and access box office. 2 hours and 15+ songs. Very little intermission. Personal recognition for their families was a nice touch. Would LOVE to see again. One of the better ones for sure.

They put on such an amazing show, and covered so much of their catalogue. The band was great, the costumes were great, the backup dances were great, I can’t say enough good things about it. And Bobby was keeping up with the rest of the group this time! 🥰

Brought my ticket today 4 the 7/5 shows going to try and get another one wither during the American Exprwss sale or General sales. And I will definitely be there for at least a week.
