    The Grand Prix was awesome!

by ZiggyG on 9/28/09Classic Drive - New Albany

I grew up showing horses, so I came specifically for that reason, and the Classic truely delivered! It was wonderful seeing the beautiful horses and amazing riders over the difficult course. I was also very impressed by the rest of the Classic; family day looked like a lot of fun.

What a wonderful day at the New Albany Classic. The horses ans riders were spectacular. My husband and I have attended this particular event for the past six years and have been in awe of the spectacular riders and horses. What a wonderful day to spend watching a sport that we both enjoy. We brought two of our best friends with us this year and they truly enjoyed the event. Always a fun day for young kids!

by WeLovePonies on 9/28/09Classic Drive - New Albany

The New Albany Classic was again a great horse show. Fabulous announcer!!!! The rides were fun for my young kids, 6 and 9. The rides are good for that age group. This year the band was not "tweeny" enough for my kid's interest. You need the Nick - Disney show 'rock stars.' There are a ton of inflated slides that girls love to race on, so that was a hit. Graters Ice Cream is a hit for mom. The picnic table area was a nice addition. More benches/tables by the rides for parents would be great. The weather kept the big screen monitors down, that was a bummer. Watching the riders while the kids play was great last year. This is an affordable fun day and wonderfully clean grounds. Yeah Wexners' for putting it on!

    ENJOYABLE DAY

by mash4077 on 9/28/09Classic Drive - New Albany

The day was very enjoyable once the rain stopped and the sun came out. I have one suggestion for future reference. That would be to have some benches around the game area for grandparents and others to be able to sit while the gradchildren are riding the rides. We were there 6 hours and it would be nice to sit for a spell while waiting. Other than that, thank you for a great day with my Daughter and Grandaughters.

What a fantastic time we had!!

by luvinsummer on 9/28/09Classic Drive - New Albany

This was my first trip to the New Albany Classic and my family and I had a wonderful time. I could not believe all of the family fun things that were there. I was so surprised to find out that the only things I had to pay for was food and tickets to ride on the rides, which were only .50 or $5.00 for all day. There was face painting, character drawings, Disney Princess' singing, tons of bounce houses, COSI, the Zoo had some snakes/lizards, two concerts (Mitchel Musso and Jordin Sparks) and so much more. Of course the best was watching the Grand Prix! I think that it is wonderful that we have someone that raises money for such a good cause and gives back to our community. Thanks Mrs. Wexner for a great family day! I can't wait until next year.

Great event! I've never been to the Classic before, and I was surprised at all the different rides for kids and the great concert. I mainly went for the Grand Prix, which was exciting and attracted some of the country's best riders.

Once the again the New Albany Classic was host to an incredible day of family entertainment in the pursuit to raise money for the Columbus Coalition Against Family Violence. Hats off to the Wexner Family and their dedication to their cause. The day was beautiful, the grounds were stunning and the horses were magnificent!! I recommend this event to all families, even those not into the horse scene.

Rain or Shine: The Classic delivers!

by Dino70 on 9/28/09Classic Drive - New Albany

The Classic again this year did not disappoint! Despite sloshing throug the mud and muck, the day turned out to be beautiful! The fun was affordable and relevant, and as a parent, there's nothing I enjoy more than my kids with huge grins on their faces from jumping around to Mitchel Musso and Jordin Sparks to racing aroudnt rides, cheering for the horses and riders, then being exhausted from the day's fun. All this, and a wanr-hearted feeling from supporting an excellent cause!

    The Best!

by Dixonchick on 9/28/09Classic Drive - New Albany

You couldn't ask for a better, well-rounded event. Lots of fun, exciting entertainment for your children and you are giving to a great charitable foundation at the same time. Plus, how could you possibly getting better entertainment for that price?

New Albany Classic was super this year!

by Horsenut on 9/28/09Classic Drive - New Albany

What a fantastic event. The weather really helped this year because a lot of people opted out due to rain early in the day - not nearly as overcrowded, not so long to wait for every kid ride / activity. Food was very good, kid activities were great. Petting zoo was first rate. If you want to see better horses and riders, you're out of luck because there just aren't many - some of the very best elite Grand Prix riders and horses were here! Wish more had qualified for the jump off, there were a couple of fences over which just about everybody tipped a rail, think the course went from too easy last year to too difficult this year. But what a great event!!!

    Mitchell Musso was awesome !

by Jollymon on 9/28/09Classic Drive - New Albany

I bought tickets for my daughter, who is 10 years old. I was able to take her to the show because of the price, bottom line. If he had been in concert at a larger venue and the tickets were $25 each, I would not have been able to take her to see Mitchell Musso. I did not like the set up and that it was lawn seats only. My daughter is only 4.5 feet tall and the teenagers AND PARENTS kept pusing their way in front of us until we eventually moved to the very back for safety reasons. She would have gotten injured if we had stayed in front by the fence, which is where we started out since we arrived at 10am. I will continue to attend concerts at the Classic if the prices remain reasonable. This was our first year so next time, we know the drill.
