    Totally enjoyed this event

by joelhss on 9/28/10Classic Drive - New Albany

First of all the lay out of the event was well organized and well staffed. There were many volunteers to help you in any way you needed. The David Archuleta concert was just amazing. What a talented and personable young man! He sang 9 songs, 3 from his first album and 6 from his new album. I loved all of the songs, and his vocals were just stellar. He is one of the few music artists who sound as good or better live. I will definitely attend one of his concerts again...hopefully soon.

    New Hollow up and comers

by imdpk on 9/28/10Classic Drive - New Albany

The New Albany Classic was great as always. A lot of fun for the whole family. The BEST part of the day was getting to hear a new band open for David Archeleta.New Hollow a trio of young musical geniuses were amazing as the first act on the Tween Brands stage at the Classic. Their sound is familiar but new. They actually play music, real guitar and drum stuff!!! They rocked! They have a new single that will drop on Nov. 1st and after that they won't be the first act anymore!!! Watch for this amazing new band. The single is entitled SICK and it is just that! An unexpected suprise was the band's performance of the national anthem at the opening ceremonies of the Classic. One of the best I have ever heard! You know a group is good when they can nail the National Anthem! And that they did...Watch for this group...they ROCK!!!

My Daughter and I loved the concert with New Hollow and David Archuleta! The OSU traveling band and cheerleaders were also neat to see. We loved the Grand Prix! We thought the whole event went smoothly and there was a lot to do. Thank you for your efforts to produce such a great time!

    The Incredible David Archuleta!

by Valzerie on 9/28/10Classic Drive - New Albany

Went to see David Archuleta. It was chilly to say the least, and we waited a long time for him to come on stage, but it was SOOOO worth it! David's voice melts the soul. The crowd was very respectful. I was planning to be pushed, but that did not happen. So thankful for that! The show went wayyyy too fast, but then again they always do. When David sings, you just want to listen forever! Didn't get a chance to do any of the other events there, but it was too cold anyway. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. I sure did, and I would love to go back if David was there!

    New Hollow rocked!!!

by CBrownMich on 9/28/10Classic Drive - New Albany

The opening band New Hollow fired up the crowd with amazing energy and rockin' music. These local boys are so talented, they already have a huge following of tween fans screaming their lyrics. I hope to see more of New Hollow in the future. I think they may have upstaged headliner David Archuleta...

    David Archuleta was great!!!

by buggylynn921 on 9/28/10Classic Drive - New Albany

We went to the New Albany Classic for the first time this year and we all agreed that we were going to go again every year! the people in the community were so friendly! The prices were super good, and they had so many things for the kids to do. The horses were neat to see! The best of coarse was David Archuleta!! He put on such a good performance and was grateful and gracious as always! Some very nice people gave me, my mom, my daughter, and niece their VIP passes and backstage passes!! We loved meeting him and will see him anytime he comes to Ohio!! We drove 2 hrs. to get there and it was well worth it!!!

New Albany Classic wasn't worth going back

by NAResident on 9/28/10Classic Drive - New Albany

I felt like the New Albany Classic could have used a bit more organization with parking as well as the other events (except for the actual horse runs). It was definitely a kid-friendly atmosphere, but some people were VERY rude. During the Tween Brand concerts, there should have been seating instead of standing, because (not being very tall) people would stand in front of me and I couldn't see a thing. I thought that the food was very tasty and the grounds were beautiful as well.

    Great family day!

by localmom on 9/28/10Classic Drive - New Albany

Lots to do for the whole family in a clean, safe environment. Food was good, rides were aplenty, jumping was incredible and the concert was intimate enough to almost feel private.

    Beautiful weather for the Classic

by Raebabe on 10/8/09Classic Drive - New Albany

During the drive to New Albany, it rained the whole time, but by the time I arrived the sun was shining! Mitchel was great. At points he had to wait on the background track but otherwise he really worked the crowd. It took awhile for Jordin to come on because there was some techincal difficulty. She sounded very good and performed great.

Less than adequate concert viewing for children

by blessedmommy on 10/4/09Classic Drive - New Albany

The event was very well organized and highly enjoyable for the entire family. The only negative was younger children (13 and below) were not able to see the concert and were disappointed in the limited viewing. This was due to standing capacity only, and unfortunately there were many tall parents with their children on their shoulders toward the front of the stage which did not allow children or adults toward the rear to see the "tween" stars perform. Most unfortunate! I would suggest either raising the stage height, providing bleacher type seating (as for the jumping event), or chairs for the first 15 - 20 rows then standing (preferably for parents) in the back.

    Jordin Sparks was AMAZING!

by Xsings4himX on 9/29/09Classic Drive - New Albany

The event was awesome! Games, rides, horses, food and of course entertainment! Mitchel Musso and Jordin Sparks were awesome and I even got to meet Jordin Sparks, (been waiting a long time to do that!) She is so sweet and I hope she comes back next year! The pricing of this even was also cheap, I would definitely recommend anyone to go next year!

    The Classic was Awesome!

by Elaborate on 9/28/09Classic Drive - New Albany

As always, The New Albany Classic Invitational was amazing! It was better than ever, and a very well organized event. The venue is fantastic and the jumping field was beautifully adorned with flowers and the jumps were fit for olympians. The horses and riders were world class and the course was challenging. We always enjoy attending this family oriented event. Knowing the proceeds go to a worthy cause makes it even more enjoyable and worthwhile. It is so nice to have an equestrian event of this caliber in the Central Ohio area. Thanks go to the Wexner's and sponsors for continuing this honorable tradition and making it better every year!

New Albany Classic Invitational is top notch fun

by Forbes on 9/28/09Classic Drive - New Albany

I had the pleasure of returning to the New Albany Classic Invitational this year with my nieces. We had a blast. The price is right, the activities were right, the horse Grand Prix was amazing plus all proceeds benefits the Columbus Coalition against Family violence. Very family friendly- I highly recommend to all.
