Grand Floral Parade Tickets

We decided to get tickets inside the Coliseum to watch the Grand Floral Parade this year. Our daughter is a cheerleader who would be in the parade, and we wanted to be able to see her. We had concerns that it would be difficult to find a spot on a sidewalk due to the parade route being shortened. It worked out fine. I think there's less excitement inside the Coliseum, and we realized after the fact, that the majority of the horses don't come through there, so we missed some. If there is an option to get on the bleachers as the parade comes out of the Coliseum, I think that would be more of an "experience" than being inside. On the upside-we had access to restrooms, snacks, padded chairs and we knew we wouldn't get rained on! So, for many people-those positives may outweigh missing out on horses and/or less "Excitement" in the Coliseum!

So ... get to the Coliseum and guess what? I cannot log into TicketMaster. I was not the only one. Since there was a staffed window set up at the box office, I assume that this is not a unique experience. It actually was happening to two other people while I was there. TicketMaster, you have a monopoly. Is this what happens when there is no competition? Five (5) stars for the parade, One (1) star for TM. At least they had a work-around for their ineptitude.
