About

Initially formed in Joplin, Missouri, in 2007, the indie rock band, Never Shout Never, recently returned after a brief musical hiatus with an impressive concert appearance at the 2013 Warped Tour. Although the Warped Tour performance was mostly marked by an effort at promoting both peace and patriotism, it also featured the classic heavy percussion and impressive guitar sequences that have so successfully sold tickets during past tours. The members of Never Shout Never were eager to get back on the road, but the main purpose of their Warped Tour appearance was to promote "Sunflower," a recent full-length album released in July 2013.

Never Shout Never may currently attract vast audiences, but the band's beginnings were fairly humble in nature. Lead singer Christofer Drew Ingle first adopted the moniker as a teenager in Joplin. He first received public recognition for his music through MySpace, with virtual fans eventually convincing him to release "The Yippee" EP in 2008. He was quickly joined by his touring band members, Hayden Kaiser and Taylor McFee, both of whom remain a part of Never Shout Never to this day. The group has released several significant EPs and albums, although their most significant achievement may be aiding in the post-tornado Joplin relief effort through the release of their single, "Time Travel." More recently, the band released the full-length album, "Indigo," in 2012, followed by "Sunflower" in 2013. The band has also made a point of getting in on the holiday music frenzy, releasing a snazzy music video for "Under The Mistletoe," as well as a popular Christmas EP.

4 bands are a lot to weed through waiting for NSN to come on. First two were good, then it got long standing there. Was disappointed that NSN only played for almost 40 minutes after all that waiting. But they were awesome. Vocals were great! Whole night was EXTREMELY loud. Station 4 is such small venue that there is just no place for the noise to go; which is the whole point I guess, but still. Can't wait for NSN to come to a bigger venue.

NSN was great; The Bigger Lights were fantastic

    by EEC2009 on 12/20/09Showcase Live - Foxboro

Not terribly impressed with Great Big Planes. Not terribly good musicians and way too full of themselves. Ace Enders were very good but this was not the venue for them. Shame, really. Never Shout Never was great. So full of joy and humor. And the young girls LOVED him! The best show for me was The Bigger Lights. They were fantastic. See them if you can.

    I loved Nevershoutnever!

by Cassiee on 12/20/09Showcase Live - Foxboro

The concert was so good! All the bands were amazing especially Christofer Drew :) I was a little bummed that I didn't get to meet Chris for nevershoutnever but I got to meet The Bigger Lights and Great Big Planes. I didn't like how everyone was so pushy in the mosh pit but there really is nothing you can do about that because its like that everywhere. Overall the concert was amazing and I can't wait to go back!

Never Shout Never show was WONDERFUL!

by crgcrc on 12/20/09Showcase Live - Foxboro

From the opening act to the main performance this show was fantastic!! The last band that came on right before Never Shout Never was good but didn"t belong in this line up. The security was on the ball and did a great job encouraging all the kids to be safe and kind to each other and it was a great time!!!!!

Never Shout Never was awesome !!!!!

    by jennifer121 on 12/19/09Showcase Live - Foxboro

First on was The Bigger Lights. They started off the show in a good way. They were fun, up-beat and even though i never knew them before this it was amazing. Next was Great Big Planes. They were ok, but a little slow for my taste. Then was Ace Enders. Again it was slow, but when he started singing "Bring Back Love" that was great when everyone sung along. Last, but certainly not least, was Christofer Drew Ingle. I LOVE NEVERSHOUTNEVER! It was hands down the best part of the show. All in all the concert was amazing.

    Never Shout Never Was Awesome!

by Tinkss on 12/19/09Showcase Live - Foxboro

This was my first concert, and it was amazing! We waited out in the 2 degree weather for 40 minutes prior to the shows start, but I would do it again in a moments notice. What an amazing night. Sweet music, and friendly group of guys. Even got an autographed CD. They sound the same live as they do on their CD. No lip syncing here, these guys are the real deal.Keep Rockin'

    Ingle does it again!

by ATLaddict on 12/19/09Showcase Live - Foxboro

I love Christofer Drew Ingle. So much. Yet another amazing show. My friends and I waited hours upon hours in the freezing cold to try to meet him after the show, but he never came out :( Also, Bigger Lights = amazingness. I had no idea that they were one of the openers.. And I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that they were..

    Nevershoutnever is the shiz!

by KCLuv on 12/19/09Showcase Live - Foxboro

Nevershoutnever was amazing. The other bands were just okay. One of them was actually rather painful, but Christopher Drew made up for that. I was a little annoyed that the people in front who were getting squished couldn't just suck it up. It's a concert. That's what happens at a concert. We shouldn't all have to back up just because they can't deal with it. It's not like they were dying or anything.

    Audience was incredibly rude.

    by erin6890 on 12/19/09Showcase Live - Foxboro

When I bought my tickets to Never Shout Never, I expected there to be a younger audience but I wasn't exactly prepared for it when I showed up to the venue. Throughout the 3 opening acts, the crowd just pushed each other, talked, and fought which I thought was insanely rude. I have seen Never Shout Never before in New Jersey and the crowd was just as impolite. I don't know if it has to do with the band or the age of the crowd (most kids there were 12-16). I've been to plenty of shows in boston and never have I seen people lacking this much respect for other bands. After the show was over, I actually went and apologized to one of the bands for the way the crowd acted during their set. Future tip to all of you 13 year olds, if you're going to go to another show, at least pretend to be respectful for the other bands, it takes a lot of courage to get up on stage and perform.

The venue was awesome. I just can't like jamming the stage....it's an accident (or lawsuit) waiting to happen. I brought my daughter and her friends...a little nerve racking especially when you're responsible for other people's kids! The show was great and I would love to come back for an adult thing! would take them back with seating

    Too Pushy

by FeliciaLovesYou on 12/19/09Showcase Live - Foxboro

The whole time during the concert, people were pushing to the point where I couldn't breathe. I felt bad for the opening bands -- Everyone just wanted to get to the front so that Christopher Drew would see them, so nobody even paid attention to the opening acts, especially the one right before the main act. I rated this a four because despite the pushing and obnoxiously tight crowd before Chris came up, it all went away once he took the stage. Everyone just seemed to stop, and we all just listened to him while he was up. He was amazing. I'd recommend this to a friend if they weren't short... I felt bad for all the short people in the audience.
