This concert was great! I loved Graham Colton, and stephen kellogg and the sixers as the opening acts. NEED to breathe was great and sounded awesome live. I would love to hear more acoustic.

  • Going from Small Stage to BIG TIME!

    by njp2010 on 3/21/10First Avenue - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

After hearing Needtobreathe a couple years ago and seeing them on a small stage with only 50-100 guests this has proved their talent. Bringing on board LED lights and effects to a bigger venue for an audience now over 1,000. What A Show! I can't wait to see them perform a year from now and further on in the future.

  • NeedToBreathe astounds

by EauClairedriver on 3/21/10First Avenue - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

NeedToBreathe rocks with melodic charm and displays their virtuosity in a wonderful show at 1st Avenue on Saturday, March 20. This first day of spring was a very appropriate way to start off the season... a season of renewal and creative zest. I have enjoyed watching NoB over the past couple of years, most recently at Summerfest in Milwaukee, but this show beats them all. The only unfortunate neglect was the failure to perform the song ‘Hurricane,’ which I believe is encore material. However, I was not left disappointed, especially when the entire band climbed the stairs and performed a song in front of the entire audience sitting below as a grand swan song to complete the evening, especially since this was performed directly in front of me. The other bands, Stephen Kellogg & The Sixers and Graham Colton added a perfect complement to the music of the headliners. It was a great show and confirms that venues like 1st Avenue are necessary for music to continue to live on this world and for the bands that performed there on a Saturday evening to astonish the crowd of satisfied fans.

  • needtobreathe was awesome

Great show by needtobreathe and opening bands!! Loved it!!

  • Awesome^3

    by Charmander22 on 3/21/10First Avenue - MinneapolisRating: 4 out of 5

This was the third best concert I have been to, and I have been to a fair amount. They put so much energy into the show, you can tell they really enjoy what they do. The only thing I don't like about rock concerts is that you cannot hear the vocalist. I love Needtobreathe because of their passion and lyrics (not to mention Bear's voice). So not being able to hear anything but *boom boom boom* was a slight disappointment.

  • Needtobreathe was amazing. Best rock concert ever

    by Jordan0Kellogg on 3/21/10First Avenue - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to many concerts, coldplay to john mayer to Atmosphere to the Allman Brothers, and so many more. This concert was by far the most entertaining, fun, and incredible concert yet. Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers opened and were great! Very entertaining. I will be buying their music. When Needtobreathe came on, it was music at it's best from start to finish, from the screaming solos to the final unplugged acoustic version of washed by the water. (like no mics or anything, very cool)

  • Need to Breathe was AMAZING!!!

    by Nikki1013 on 3/21/10First Avenue - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

This band is so powerful and pure sounding. They energetic on stage and have great banter with the audience. There aren't words to describe Bear's voice accurately, and it is only further enhanced by the band's musical performance. Great job! I would highly recommend them to anyone. I will absolutely go see them the next time they're in town!

  • Amazing vocals

by HalinaMpls on 3/21/10First Avenue - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I absolutely loved this concert. Amazing vocals and the acoustic surprise at the end was fantastic. Definitely following this band for future concerts!

  • Needtobreath is passionate

by TChipchick on 3/21/10First Avenue - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

This group is one of the best up and coming bands in the country. Pay attention as they have a unique sound and a passion for music that can't be denied. Their song writing is filled with meaning and depth unlike most of the popular music of today. They poured their heart out at First Ave last night and I was glad to be a part of it. Great job guys!

  • Left me breathless

by BocaBeachBum on 3/20/10Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Please excuse my pun. I know it wasn't funny. Anyways. Incredible show & venue. Had an incredible time. I would go again in a heartbeat.

  • Shockingly amazing

by BeReezy on 3/16/10State Theatre - St PetersburgRating: 5 out of 5

The only complaint I would have is that they only played for about an hour and 15 minutes. But what they did play was nothing short of perfect. Small, intimate venue, perfect sound, amazing energy, great set list. I almost followed them to Orlando the next night just to hear it again.

  • needtobreathe an incredible show

by jandgrock on 3/15/10State Theatre - St PetersburgRating: 5 out of 5

This was one of the best shows I've ever seen. The band was phenomenal, the State Theatre was really intimate - I didn't want it to end!

  • NEEDTOBREATHE is unbelievably great!

We were blown away by this show. By far one of the best live performances I have ever seen in my life and I have been to lots of concerts. They just give such an emotional and heartfelt performance. Amazing!

  • Needtobreathe ROCK!

    by Anna0907 on 3/15/10Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 2 out of 5

Needtobreathe really rocked, they are awesome, intertaining, their voice-wow, lively...really great. I would go see them if they played elsewhere. Didn't like the place at all.

  • Needtobreathe=AMAZING!!!!

  • Needtobreahte - too short

by Upward on 3/14/10Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 3 out of 5

Saw the Needtobreathe concert last night in Ft. Laud at the Culture Room. It's a great atmosphere becasuse the band and fans are so close to one another. I really like this band and their sound which was a bit lost in the volume for some reason at this show. The only dissapointing thing was that they only played about an hour - I could have listened to them for two! I know they are in many ways just getting started and growing in fame - they ought to take a page out of the Dave Mathews Band recipe on how to develop a large, loyal fan base through quality live shows. I'll continue listening and hope the next time I see them live they'll play more of their great tunes.

  • Needtobreathe was terrific, Culture Room needs air

by ADJS on 3/14/10Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 4 out of 5

Needtobreathe is Christian rock at its finest. However, omitted from the playlist was the stirring Signature of Divine. The concert was listed as an all age event. However, alcohol was served and smoking was allowed. Very little seating available. Culture Room is not family friendly.

  • do NOT miss NeedtoBreathe!

by AirTranGirl on 3/14/10Culture Room - Ft LauderdaleRating: 5 out of 5

Best concert I have EVER seen in my life. These guys rock the stage like no other band. They have soul, charisma, and intensity that can't be duplicated.

  • Great show!

by wellsrus on 3/13/10House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

I had a great time at this show! Not only was Needtobreathe amazing, the two openers were also great to see. Anyone who is even considering seeing them live should buy the tickets and go. It was worth every penny!

  • CAPTIVATING PERFORMANCE!!! MUST SEE!!!

by TracyKr on 3/13/10House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

We have seen NeedtoBreathe before and the first time they were amazing.. this time~ the set, the intense energy.. you can REALLY TELL.. these guys LOVE to perform... and THEY HAVE THE SERIOUS SKILLS... From Bo's "come on, you know you're havin' fun" facial expressions and body language, to the raw, deep intense voice Bear has~ that just draws you in.. the amazing sounds and sights of instruments you're not usually use to seeing used in a concert. Seth.. ROCKS IT on the bass... and we loved watchin Jo playin the drums and there's just a feeling you get when you watch these guys... I loved the set design and can't wait to see what these guys come up with next.. we REALLY love them and they are MOST DEFINITELY ONE OF OUR VERY FAVORITE BANDS.
