Over the years, they’ve carved out a distinctive space across multiple genres, blending modern rock, purpose-driven soul, and pop appeal into a rare and impressive track record. I was in the middle of Madison Theatre right next to the sound guys. We could not hear hardly any vocals. The needtobreathe guys was jamming but the instruments were over modulating. Not sure if during sound check they didn't get things right, or if it was the venue's building that was causing this problem. I still had a great time just had high expectations from one of my favorite bands. Seen these guys at Southgate House and didn't have these problems.

This was my seventh show of NEEDTOBREATHE and it was by far the best show yet. They played a song, Quit from their first album and We Could Run Away from their second album which was awesome. I didn't think I would ever get to here those songs live. Then they played 3 new songs, an encore and an acoustic version of another. It was Great! I am so excited to see them again in Chicago.

by AddyLovesMusic on 11/1/10Township Auditorium - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

This was a truly amazing show!! They played every song I love, and their energy was amazing!! It also probably helped that I got a pass to see them backstage after the show- I was already a huge fan, but they are so nice and so down to earth... what a great experience!!!!

  • NEEDTOBREATHE is NEEDTOSEE!

by Anonymous on 11/1/10Madison Theater - CovingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I had been waiting to see this band live for over a year, and my expectations were exceeded. The sound and show were phenomenal. The venue and crowd size (I'm guessing 1,500 people) also contributed to it being a very unique experience. I'm now trying to figure out what other dates and locations of shows I can attend...won't be able to wait until they make it back to Covington!

  • Needtobreathe Leaves you Breathless

by Dardle on 11/1/10Madison Theater - CovingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Enjoyed the concert immensly. My daughter has been a huge fan since day one and has traveled to see the band as often as she can. I didn't understand her dedication until this Friday! What talent!! Can't stop the music as it is playing over and over in my head! Lay Em Down just sticks with you! Hope to see them again as often as possible!!!

  • Needtobreathe was SPECTACULAR!

    by nwilli28 on 11/1/10Madison Theater - CovingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I went to this concert and the venue was not the nicest place ever, and the opener was less than fabulous, but Needtobreathe was AMAZING! Their voices are even better live (which is not normally the case for most bands). I loved the music and there was so much energy! It was just fabulous!!

  • needtobreathe = needtoseeagain

  • needtobreathe was great!

    by britt104 on 10/31/10Madison Theater - CovingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The opening act of The Daylights was great. when I first saw they were opening I didn't know who they were but as soon as I heard them play, I thought they were great! Needtobreathe were amazing. This was my first ever christian concert live and I didn't know what to expect but with being in the front and hearing the whole band, it was amazing. I was happy when they played my top three songs that were "Let Us Love", "Washed By The Water", and "Something Beautiful" and all the rest of the songs were great. The new songs that have not even put to record yet were also amazing and as soon as the new album comes out with those songs, I am definitely purchasing them. I also loved how they did one song in acoustic version because it was not fixed up and it was just their voices. It was the best and I love hearing them live better than from my iPod. Overall the concert was magnificant!!! I loved it and willl never forget it. Great job Needtobreathe and The Daylights!! :)

Not too much to say here. It was loud, but not in a bad way. Definitely catchy and entertaining. I was expecting something else as far as the impact I search for when attending a concert. I wish the best for the band and their pursuit. I plan on praying for them.

  • by Anonymous on 10/31/10Township Auditorium - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

I thought the show was awesome, and I plan on attending as many as I possibly can. The only part that I was disappointed about was the fact that the guys from "Needtobreathe" did not come out after the show and greet the fans. It was my nieces first show and she really wanted to meet them and have pictures taken with them.

  • the daylights rock

The opening band was not my favorite and it took NTB a while to start their show, but overall I had a great time. The lights and stage set up was amazing!
