    Baseball Nirvana

by Wiffer on 6/22/22Charles Schwab Field Omaha - Omaha

Had a great time at each game. Be prepared to drink a lot of water and beer. There always seems to be a delay with the 6pm game, so plan accordingly. We hung out at the fan fest a little longer. A baseball dream.

No scoreboard in left field, VERY slow elevator,

by Iowa Boy on 6/22/22Charles Schwab Field Omaha - Omaha

Sitting on the 1st base side under the overhang, we could not see the scoreboard. It would be really nice to have a larger one in left field. My wife has mobility issues, the one elevator they did have was VERY slow. They really do need more than one elevator, especially when the food service is using it as a service elevator. Very disappointing.

    Roasting in Omaha

by Jakeski on 6/21/22Charles Schwab Field Omaha - Omaha

My return to Omaha for the College World Series was filled with great games and burning heat. The cost of tickets continue to rise as does every food item in the stadium. I would say that things are not fully back to normal, but it was good to return all the same.

    1st time experience

by JB on 6/20/22Charles Schwab Field Omaha - Omaha

It was a great time! Games need to he spaced further apart (vs 1 & 6) to allow fans time to leave and get food and get back in line.

Great place to watch a game

by JB on 6/20/22Charles Schwab Field Omaha - Omaha

The park is great, not a bad seat in the stadium. Concessions can’t keep up unfortunately so must drinks are warm by the time you get back to your seats. The second game of the day is a nightmare to get in because there scheduled to close together, so you typically miss at least the first inning and sometimes in the second. The entry’s to get in are always a nightmare and takes forever and no organization of lines or anything like that to get in.

Great venue and tremendous atmosphere - more shade and cooling areas would be nice.

The anticipation was better than the experience

by CO baseball mom on 6/20/22Charles Schwab Field Omaha - Omaha

We went to Game 2 (ND vs. Texas) - we were so excited to have tickets, but in the end, we didn't love it. Getting in the stadium was a nightmare. The 1pm game ran late, so we could not get in an hour early as expected. Instead mass amounts of people packed in around the entry points waiting to be let in (maybe ended up opening 30 minutes before game time). We were at Gate 2 (not a good choice - but there wasn't anyone lettering people know to go to other gates that may have less of a wait). It was unbearably hot and we saw two people pass out while waiting. We finally got in at the bottom of the 2nd inning and there was a bottle of chew spit left in our seats from the previous game We sat in the outfield and we just baked. Definitely splurge for seats on the other side of the stadium. It was a bucket list item for us, and overall, we weren't overly impressed.

    Miserable!

by BaseballMom on 6/20/22Charles Schwab Field Omaha - Omaha

Had outfield tickets for the early game. Metal seats, zero shade, it was like watching the game on the surface of the sun! Left after 2 innings.

    Long Lines to Enter

by Baseball Fan on 6/20/22Charles Schwab Field Omaha - Omaha

We had tickets to first ND game Friday night. Stadium did not start letting people in until 5:55. Game time was 6pm and literally thousands of people were lined up for over an hour in 90+ degree weather hoping to get to their seats by game time. It was total unmanaged chaos and we were not able to enter stadium until third inning! Disappointing given how much we paid for tickets and how early we lined up to enter.

    Greatest Show on Dirt BUT.....

by Scott S on 6/20/22Charles Schwab Field Omaha - Omaha

This is simply the best collegiate championship. The city and its residents are the best and the opening weekend is great baseball. Stadium staff is terrific. The one caveat is how can this major championship event in a brand new stadium NOT have WiFi available to fans. Phone usage is non-existent during the games because of poor cell service.

Cheap seats are to be avoided

by College baseball fan on 6/26/21

My first College World Series experience was miserable, largely thanks to lousy seats. The second tickets went on sale to the general public, I hopped on right away hoping to get something on the first level behind either dugout or behind the plate. But all that was available were bleacher seats in the outfield and seats in the 300 level. That's ridiculous. I've been to other big NCAA events - the Frozen Four, Elite 8 basketball games - and had no problem getting good seats at the get go. Not seeing many other options, I went with outfield seats. Problem one - these are in direct sunlight and there's nothing shielding you from the sun. I wore a hat and put sunscreen on, twice, and still got sunburned. On a warm day, it is extremely uncomfortable sitting out in those seats if you have a low heat/sun tolerance. I left after a couple of innings, I couldn't stand the heat. Problem 2 - they are just bleachers with small backs, not actual stadium seats. The ballpark is nice but your experience will be pretty dependent on where you sit. If you manage to get a better seat at a good price, you'll be happy and have a good time. If you have to settle for the outfield seats, on a warmer day especially, you'll be wishing you stayed home and saved the money.

    Monday game

by J. G. on 6/24/21TD Ameritrade Park Omaha - Omaha

The main thing i liked about my experience was the fact that I could buy fhe ticket face value straight from ticketmaster. Buying resale ticket are expensive. The one thing i disliked was the long lines at the concessions stand. There should be one person in charged of all sales and a separate person in charge running drinks and food. The tiny televisions at the concession stands need to be at least 55 inch. It is hard to watch the game from the back of the line.

Venue great game experience great not the entrance experienc

by gamedayforme on 7/1/19TD Ameritrade Park Omaha - Omaha

Buying the general admittance tickets was easy, price was excellent, getting into the venue was not a good experience. Stood in line at the front entrance for 15 min and when we arrived at the gate was told we could no enter this gate we had to go around to the back of the venue. Walked around to the back right field gate and was directed to continue walking to another gate. finally got in during the 2 inning. Once in side the experience of the venue and crowd was great. Someone needs to provide signage or show the entrance on the tickets.

    Don’t do GENADM on Weekends

by Kelkoo on 6/30/19TD Ameritrade Park Omaha - Omaha

If you are going to the college World Series and actually enjoy watching baseball then don’t buy GENADM tickets. We waited in line for 4 hours with GENADM tickets to Saturday’s game and didn’t get admitted until after the third inning and not only could we not sit but we couldn’t find a place to stand and see over people to see the game. We ended up buying seats to watch the next game and had a completely different experience. They way, way over sell GENADM tickets. We had 8 that went unused. They’re fine if you just want to go and experience it but not if you actually want to watch the game.

    Long lines and expensive concessions

by T. O. on 6/30/19TD Ameritrade Park Omaha - Omaha

I loved the games, when I could get in. I have a special needs son and he is in a wheel chair. Problem was that spectators stood in handicapped areas and sat in the chairs so I could never get him in the handicap seating. Concessions are over priced. In the future I will watch games on television rather than wait in line and not get in until the 6th or 7th inning.

    Greatest show on dirt

by D. C. on 6/23/19TD Ameritrade Park Omaha - Omaha

Going online an hour before first pitch, having the ability to see where open seats are, making the buy and being in that very seat within the hour? Only in Omaha for the best show on the planet, college baseball! 27 outs. No clock. Momentum shifts from one team to the other, and in many cases back again! Saw two great games, Louisville and Mississippi State, them Vanderbilt v Louisville. State got robbed by blue. Can’t change the zone in the 8th! And the V v L game, pitcher owned Vandy for 8 1/3, owned ‘em! Emotional shift and an ensuing L on the board. What a great game baseball is! And how great a venue is Omaha and the people who make it happen! Thanks all!
