About

The NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, also known as March Madness, is the annual Division I Men’s Basketball tournament that began in 1939. Composed of 68 men’s college basketball teams across the U.S., the highly-anticipated competition determines the National Champion through a series of single-elimination games over three weeks. The tournament format follows four regional brackets with teams ranked from one to 16, plus an additional eight teams competing to claim the last four main bracket slots during the First Four Games. For the 2025 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, the First Four games start on March 18 and 19, followed by the First and Second Rounds between March 20 and 23, Sweet Sixteen on March 27 and 28 and Elite Eight on March 29 and 30. For the fifth time, the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas will host the Final Four and National Championship games, on April 5 and 7 respectively.

  • Fantastic college men's basketball action

by captaing on 3/20/10Spokane Arena - SpokaneRating: 4 out of 5

The games were great, the food was good. The atmosphere was electric. There were some empty seats, which meant the NCAA blew it somehow, as we knew people who wanted to go, but could not get tickets, yet there were empty seats left unused. THANK YOU for NOT running ads on the electronic sign board ring on the face of the bottom of the upper concourse. It was so nice to not have that ridiculous distraction during the games. Make more tickets available to local fans, and come back to the Spokane Arena!

Love it! Can't wait to 2014. Can't wait for tickets to Tampa.

Front the opening tip off to the final game buzzer the excitement never stopped. My seats were perfect. To see all the different schools being represented was another hi-light,. I received my souvenir tickets in plenty of time and the Jacksonville Veterans Arena was once again a great host. When they last had the event back in 2006 I also attended those games and when I heard the NCAA was coming back, I had to be there.

  • Event was okay

by NCAAFan on 3/20/10Spokane Arena - SpokaneRating: 1 out of 5

There are two problems, and both have to do with the Spokane Arena facility itself. First, the seats in row G behind the basket are possibly the worst seats I have ever had. The next row down is only about 3 inches below this row, so it is EXTREMELY difficult to see the court. I paid $400 for these two seats, and could barely see the court! Second, the video screen is only on one end of the Arena, thus if you are seated at the wrong end you can only see it by turning 180 degrees in your seat. If there were a screen at each end, the first problem might have been somewhat acceptable. All in all, I would not buy tickets again. I could have had a much better view from my living room, and been able to watch other games if I chose to. I really like having the event in Spokane, however, the Arena needs some upgrades to make me come back.

  • Why sell tickets where you cannot see the baskets?

by Cardman on 3/20/10Spokane Arena - SpokaneRating: 2 out of 5

We had 2 tickets in Section 110, Row FF, Seats 7 & 8. From Seat 8 you cannot see either basket. From Seat 7 you can see the east basket only. These tickets are directly behind the west basket and because of the wide apparatus that holds up the backboards, it is virtually impossible to enjoy a game!!!!! The seats are on a flat surface so when a tall person or a woman with big hair sit in front of you it blcoks your vision of the whole floor. People all around us were complaining also, Quite a number of people got up and left the area as they were very upset with their tickets. I am considering never ordering tickets again. While waiting in line for Session 2 we spoke with people with excellent tickets--we asked when they purchased them. They said: "Yesterday". We purchased our tickets on the very first day they were available by credit card many months ago. I have supported every NCAA basketball tourney held in Spokane. This is how good customers get treated!!! We purchased 2 tickets for this year @ $195.00 each. One seat you cannot see either basket, the other seat you can only see one basket. Also tall people in front of us made it very hard to see very much of the games at all. I would have had a better view listening to the radio!!!!! Why would anyone in that area ever buy tickets to sit there. This ticket purchaser was totally ripped off by these tickets. I feel something should be done for the people with those absolutely rotten tickets. When you buy tickets, YOU EXPECT TO BE ABLE TO SEE THE GAMES!!!! Is that asking too much!!!

  • Rock Chalk Jayhawk!

It was great to be able to attend a KU basketball game, let alone a playoff game! I live in Wichita, KS and OKC was just too close to pass up the opportunity.

  • Great Event

by Dutts on 3/20/10Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

This event was fabulous! Every detail seemed to be taken care of....easy access to food, drink, bathrooms, etc. My seats were very good. I understand the reason for the lottery system, but am not sure there isn't a better way to reward those who continue to support the event? Still a job well done!!!!

  • 2010 NCAA DIV.1 MEN'S BASKETBALL 1ST & 2ND rOUND

by Anonymous on 3/20/10Spokane Arena - SpokaneRating: 4 out of 5

The venue was very nice and the people who work at the arena were awesome. My big, and I mean very big complaint, is kicking everyone out between sessions and starting the second sessions before everyone can get back into the builidng. Your customers pay way too much to attend this event to miss any part of the games. That issue alone caused great reluctance in recommending this site for future events.

I think the reason that this event was so great is because of what it meant for me. Ticket will call was a little confusing, some people did not know what TM stood for. Also I would recommend mentioning somewhere to bring the card you bought the tickets with and a map maybe stating where will call was. Overall it was a good event, just a few speed bumps.

  • Exciting trip

by lynn4ut on 3/20/10Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Great games. Great venue. Great seats. Over-all great experience as always. I have two buddies that go with me to the 1st and 2nd rounds every year and they love the trips also.

This was a great experience. The ticket prices were good and there wasn't a bad seat in the house. I would go to this event again.

  • Jacksonville host

by desmil on 3/20/10Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I must say this was truly a great event. Customer service was at a high level. The teams selected to play here were outstanding. Nothing beats the atmosphere of March Madness. I can only hope that Jacksonville would host these games more freqently in the future.

  • NCAA's were great; amenities should be better

Nice venue. Most seats provide a good view of the court. Food barely satisfactory. Beer would make it better.

  • March Madness was fun times!

by RoversPops on 3/20/10HP Pavilion At San Jose - San JoseRating: 4 out of 5

I'd have to say the price ($249 for all 3 sessions, which breaks down to $41.50 per game) was a bit high. And it definitely caused the arena to be less than full, especially during this economic downturn. But the games were a lot of fun! I'd definitely like to go again in the future.

  • NCAA in Spo

by AndSue on 3/20/10Spokane Arena - SpokaneRating: 4 out of 5

Great basketball and a fair crowd but Spokane seldom gets top teams. It hurt Spokane attendance that Gonzaga and Washington played on the same days as the scheduled event. Food was good. Could have had more sweatshirt options as there was only 1 in gray.

  • 2010 ncaa div. 1 basketball 1st & 2nd round

by jusnew on 3/20/10Spokane Arena - SpokaneRating: 4 out of 5

The games were great but that is the nature of the ncaa. The bad part was having to leave Session 1 and then get right back in line to return to Session 2. There should have been at least a 2 hr break between sessions. The other thing that burns me is that I had seats in the last row in the nosebleed section even though I applied for tickets the first day they became available in 2009.
