The NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, also known as March Madness, is the annual Division I Men’s Basketball tournament that began in 1939. Composed of 68 men’s college basketball teams across the U.S., the highly-anticipated competition determines the National Champion through a series of single-elimination games over three weeks. The tournament format follows four regional brackets with teams ranked from one to 16, plus an additional eight teams competing to claim the last four main bracket slots during the First Four Games. For the 2025 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, the First Four games start on March 18 and 19, followed by the First and Second Rounds between March 20 and 23, Sweet Sixteen on March 27 and 28 and Elite Eight on March 29 and 30. For the fifth time, the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas will host the Final Four and National Championship games, on April 5 and 7 respectively.

The four games on Thursday were great. OT game in the first one; thrillers in the others. First game on Saturday was great; second game was fair.
Timeouts and half time were too long. Providing video material or look in's to other games would make the time outs and half time go faster.
Providence overall did an amazing job as an NCAA host. People in the city were very friendly. Could not understand why on Thursday TV (CBS) in lobby were showing the game on TV, along with the other games during intermission, but not on Saturday?
We went to the 1st & 2nd round of the NCAA tournament in Providence and saw some great games. Seat location good, but don't sit in the last row at the Dunkin Donuts Ctr...there is NO legroom!
This was my first time attending this type of event. Just being there was totally awesome. I would recommend everyone attend at least once.
Loved it , everyone was friendly, Work on concession prices
I really need to sit down and count the number of NCAA 1st and 2nd round tournaments we have attended over the years. Each venue is unique in its own way and just as unique are the teams who come to win. Everyone goes hoping their team will win but this year our teams were at another location so we were able to see so many teams we would never in our local area. The games are always the best no matter who is playing and are well worth the time and money. What long lines for the men's room. That is really rare, guess that was a oversite when the Donut was built. Hurry back to NC.
The event was great!! I love the NCAA tournament and it is awesome to watch 4 college basketball games in one day. The arena is ok. Not enough leg room between the seats. Most importantly, they did not have the scores from other games around the country on the scoreboard - u gotta be kidding me!!! Also, the city of Jacksonville is terrible. We could not find a decent place to eat within walking distance of the arena. All we saw were lawyers offices and bail bonds places. I guess it would have been good if I got arrested.
This was our first time attending a full round of the NCAA Tournament and we had a GREAT time!
good fun, great games, never know what will happen, live event, UNI over KU who would have believed.
The fans in Milwaukee were not "College Baskteball Fans." They were Marquette and UW fans that were disappointed that the home team wasn't playing at the Bradley Center. The games were good, and this has been an amazing year for upsets in the NCAA tournament, but the stadium was almost empty whenever the Badgers were playing. Instead, all of the "fans" who bought tickets were hanging out in the concourse watching basketball on the TVs. I've been going to the NCAA's for years, and this is the worst crowd I've ever seen at an NCAA venue. The selection committee should think twice before hosting a round in Milwaukee again...
The venue for the tournament is such an impressive facility. It was very easy to find parking as well as leaving upon the conclusion of each basketball session. The tournament can not come back fast enough to Jacksonville.
The Event was good, but during the halftime, you should show the other basketball games that are being played on the main scoreboard as well as the other replay boards in the arena. This would allow more room on the concourses for people to walk, get food, talk with others, and everybody could see the other games from their seat instead of being cramped into small spaces.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed both games although they were onesided. Lots of excitement and good entertainment during breaks. Both pep bands were good and the cheerleaders were well rehearsed and entertaining. Great fun.
Cold and antiseptic, the NCAA has succeded in pasturizing the tournament to the point of a basketball McDonald's, every venue seems the same. No local flavor, the teams could have been from anywhere. $70 a ticket was way too much, scalpers were only getting $20 outside, i felt ripped off. Your not missing anything by staying home and watching it on television.
Providence and the NCAA did the tournament perfectly. Hopefully the tournament will be back soon.
Had am amazing time! Crowd was excited. Got to see some great basketball. Hope the tourney comes back to Jacksonville next year.
The Bradley Center was an amazing place to view the NCAA round 1 & 2 - if all other venues are even as nice as this one,we'll be going to more games -- Thanks Milwaukee for a great arena!!!
I can't get over the quality of play put on this weekend by the NCAA tournament teams that played in Milwaukee, WI. I couldn't have asked for better games than those of Ga Tech/Oklahoma State and Xavier/Pitt. Even the Ohio State/UCSB first round game was exciting, with so many fans backing the underdog Gauchos. There's not a bad seat in the house and the expereience was one I'll never forget. Thanks Milwaukee!
If the NCAA wants to see sold out and full arenas they need to put teams closer to their perspective colleges. I think Jacksonville did a good job hosting, but also think more things to do around the arena area would have been good. I also applaud having other food available outside the arena.
