About

The NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, also known as March Madness, is the annual Division I Men’s Basketball tournament that began in 1939. Composed of 68 men’s college basketball teams across the U.S., the highly-anticipated competition determines the National Champion through a series of single-elimination games over three weeks. The tournament format follows four regional brackets with teams ranked from one to 16, plus an additional eight teams competing to claim the last four main bracket slots during the First Four Games. For the 2025 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, the First Four games start on March 18 and 19, followed by the First and Second Rounds between March 20 and 23, Sweet Sixteen on March 27 and 28 and Elite Eight on March 29 and 30. For the fifth time, the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas will host the Final Four and National Championship games, on April 5 and 7 respectively.

  • New Orleans Arena- a basketball ball venue?

by Anonymous on 3/22/10New Orleans Arena - New OrleansRating: 2 out of 5

These rounds of the tournament are excellent and I would recommend them. This specific venue earns a "fair'" rating. New Orleans Arena was middle of the road in terms of venues for the tournament, but lacked some basic basketball amenities. This event was in a basketball arena and they did not use the scoreboards to show which players were in the game and their point and foul totals. Other scores from around the country were shown and were updated fairly regularly, but again would have been easier and more useful if they took advantage of the basketball scoreboards in the basketball arena. The food in this venue was terrible - long, long lines only to find out half the menu was unavailble. Only a few stands were open to accomodate 10,000+ fans at each session.

The upper deck sect. 435 was quite chilly the entire 2 days. I thought they could have put the Badger game on one of the TV's in the arena. On Saturday the food concession Numbers closed during the time between games ????

  • FORD CENTER WAS GREAT

Great place to watch Basketball! Bricktown at OKC is a perfect place to pass the time between games...love OKC (except the snow).

Disappointing seats in next to last row, purchased within 3 minutes of tickets going on sale. Why doesn't the arena provide more frequent updates on scores of all the other games that are being played? And why don't they show some of those games during the 20-minute half time breaks or 20-minute breaks between games? Most of the fans attending are following the tournament with great interest and to intentionally hold back updates that could be easily displayed is annoying.

  • NCAA event was the best

    by Sheryl64 on 3/22/10Bradley Center - MilwaukeeRating: 5 out of 5

The first and second round of the NCAA tournament held in Milwaukee was phenomenal. The city opened it's arms to the visitors and residents alike. The staff at the Bradley Center went out of their way to welcome and make folks feel comfortable at the event. The basketball was tremendous - some upsets, some expected results but hard fought games that held the attention of the crowd. It was great and I hope that we get the opportunity to again host in the future.

  • First/Second Round NCAA Men's in Providence

by NCAAJunkee on 3/22/10Dunkin' Donuts Center - ProvidenceRating: 4 out of 5

The arena was a great place to watch the Men's Tourney, with most seats having a nice view of the action. It was small enough that you part of the action, unlike some of the larger venues where you might as well stay home and watch it on TV. The city of Providence rolled out the red carpet for attendees so it was a fun place to be.

  • Spokane NCAA

    by big68 on 3/22/10Spokane Arena - SpokaneRating: 3 out of 5

Enjoyed the final games on sunday back to back one point finals,Friday boring but had a overall great time and would do it again. Bought tickets to this event in June 09 right when ! received the email from ticketmaster, ended up in the highest seat in the area and with the worst view!! I looked around wondering how I ended here!? You should give us a choice on where to sit when we purchase tickets. Especially when I've bought every NCAA ticket that has come to spokane just get this email asking me to buy more.

  • March Madness

by Farmerpaul on 3/22/10Spokane Arena - SpokaneRating: 4 out of 5

Great basketball, cheerleaders and bands. Good atmosphere and good venue. Could have used more time in between Fridays sessions, to get people out and back in before the second session started.

The games were all very competitive and the venue was great. My only negative comment would be with the regards to the merchandise. My friend and I arrived at the Dunkin Donut Center 45 minutes before game time for Session 1 (Thursday afternoon) and both wanted the Nike grey March Madness t-shirt, but they were sold out except for Small and Mediums.. I could see if this was Session 2 or even Session 3, but 45 minutes before the first session (half the venue was still empty). All and all it was a great time.

  • NCAA Tournament was Unbelievable

    by mwolverine10 on 3/22/10Dunkin' Donuts Center - ProvidenceRating: 5 out of 5

I had a great view of the whole court, never missed any of the action. The seats were comfortable and I enjoyed the games for exception of G-Town losing which was a bummer.

  • NCAA Men's Basketball was great

by DaBearHunter on 3/22/10Bradley Center - MilwaukeeRating: 4 out of 5

Great games, great venue. Unlike NBA games, you aren't inundated with none stop advertising. Only suggestion, put scores from the other games on the bottom part of the center score board. i couldn't read the "out of town" scores from where I sat.

  • Basketball at it's best!

by hoopster02 on 3/22/10Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Jacksonville was a great host city. The arena was great, people were nice and friendly, parking and exiting were no problem either. If I had to say anything bad it would have been that it rained on Sunday. It would have been nice if they would have let people in a little earlier than they did.

Excelelnt weekend in Providence, RI - Games were great & weather co-operated -- Only minor drawback was not enough ticket takes at night game Thursday - long lines toget in, but weather and surounding party atmosphere didn't help - People waited to the lst minute to go in

  • by Anonymous on 3/22/10Bradley Center - MilwaukeeRating: 3 out of 5

It was a good tournament, but the games were pretty weak. I wasn't all that impressed on the Bradley's Center ability to provide other games to be watched in between games. It was so so...

  • NCAA Session 1 and 2 New Orleans

by catfanattic on 3/22/10New Orleans Arena - New OrleansRating: 4 out of 5

Enjoyed event thoroughly. Only recommendation is to better define what the tickets are for. I thought I had purchased 2 tickets for first round games (KY vs. Middle Tenn. and Texas vs. Wake Forest, and then the round 2 game of the winners playing. I later found out (too late) that they included other games such as Butler and Old Dominion.

  • Bradley Center 2010

by mtstein on 3/22/10Bradley Center - MilwaukeeRating: 2 out of 5

This place is old and outdated...few TV's for viewing other games during breaks. Scoreboard with screens are really old and hard to view..... Games where good....
