About

The NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, also known as March Madness, is the annual Division I Men’s Basketball tournament that began in 1939. Composed of 68 men’s college basketball teams across the U.S., the highly-anticipated competition determines the National Champion through a series of single-elimination games over three weeks. The tournament format follows four regional brackets with teams ranked from one to 16, plus an additional eight teams competing to claim the last four main bracket slots during the First Four Games. For the 2025 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, the First Four games start on March 18 and 19, followed by the First and Second Rounds between March 20 and 23, Sweet Sixteen on March 27 and 28 and Elite Eight on March 29 and 30. For the fifth time, the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas will host the Final Four and National Championship games, on April 5 and 7 respectively.

  • Great Event

by SneakinDeacon on 3/20/18American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

The American Airlines Center is an outstanding venue for the NCAA Basketball Tournament. Staff and employees are very friendly and welcoming. The tournament provided great games and a fun and outstanding venue.

  • Great seats, buzzer beater, go loyola !

by Whereistodd on 3/20/18American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

Seats were great, section 200 had the best perks one being tables and chairs that could be used by anyone.

  • Amazing upsets!

by DrNot on 3/20/18American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

We travel to a different March Madness venue every year in hopes of seeing games like we had this year. Loyola Chicago well deserved to advance, and getting two buzzer beating wins from them was worth the price of admission. AA Center is well laid out, and the sight lines from our 300-level seat worked well, even with Texas Tech fans standing in front of us. The only negative part of the experience was the cramped seating with insufficient leg room, but we stretched out and walked every intermission. March Madness in person is great fun, even if those of us at the Arena never heard the Sister Jean story.

  • Madness in Dallas

by GotGame on 3/20/18American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Staff, facility and Crowd were all awesome. An event to attend even if you have no skin in the game!

  • Why

by Dogiswinning on 3/20/18American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 1 out of 5

Two games but you couldn’t leave the building in between games. Silly

  • NCAA Games were amazing

    by MJ1820 on 3/19/18Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 4 out of 5

Would recommend going to see the college games. Even when if your team isn’t playing the atmosphere was amazing. I would recommend paying the extra money for the lower section

  • Amazing NCAA tournament experience

by Chriskatie on 3/19/18Spectrum Center - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

We had a great time at all 6 of the NCAA men’s first and second round tournament games. The spectrum center is an amazing venue. The big screens are the biggest and best that I’ve seen in an arena. The food options were great too-of course its pricey but that’s unfortunately to be expected. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, including the ushers as well as the custodians. My only suggestions are to get rid of the bottle top policy and/or put cup holders in all of your seats so that we are less likely to spill our “topless”” drinks! Great experience!

  • Basketball Party

    by PennyAnte1 on 3/19/18Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 4 out of 5

The First and Second rounds of the NCAA tournament at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville were amazing! The games were good, the city was partying for St. Patrick’s Day, and the fans were excited. We are UK fans and couldn’t make it out west to watch them play, so we chose a team in each matchup and cheered as if we it was our team! The only thing stopping me from giving five stars is the poor service at the arena on Friday. It took forever to get through the security at the doors and service at the food kiosks was slow! They flat out did not look prepared for the crowds! Also, the game announcer wasn’t very good. Kind of monotone and didn’t seem to understand what some of the calls were.

  • Do not do will call

by Anonymous on 3/19/18Spectrum Center - CharlotteRating: 3 out of 5

Epic fail picking up tickets at will call. Only 2 windows open. Waited 75 minutes. Allowed for 45 and missed the tip. No electronic options. Poorly run process.

  • Smashville was Awesome!

  • Games too close between 1 and 2 sessions.

by Anonymous on 3/19/18Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 3 out of 5

I know it's tv and the NCAA fault. But they don't care about the average fan. Sad too pay all the money and get treated like crap.

  • #1 seed falls to #16

by Byrddawggreg on 3/19/18Spectrum Center - CharlotteRating: 4 out of 5

I’ve been to around 10-15 & this was the best one EVER!!!!! History was made

  • Great event eat before you go

by RolfeSchnur on 3/19/18Spectrum Center - CharlotteRating: 4 out of 5

A truly great time. I had tickets to all 3 sessions and of course Friday night was the highlight with UMBC beating Virginia. Make sure you eat before you go unless you enjoy spending absurd money for horrible food and way overpriced drinks. Would I go again? Yup, but will eat and drink something before or after.

  • Great venue for the NCAA games

    by TL19821979 on 3/19/18Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

The games were fun and the seats were great. The Deep Dish (aka Little Caesars Arena) is a fantastic venue, especially for basketball.

  • Wonderful staff at the Spectrum

by Anonymous on 3/19/18Spectrum Center - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

I came from the Philadelpia area and want to give a special shout to the usher from North Philadelphia who made my experience all the better with his friendliness. Was very iimpressed with the greetings received from the Spectrum staff and the ease of getting into the facility. Great seats and really clean arena including well maintained restrooms.
