About

The NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, also known as March Madness, is the annual Division I Men’s Basketball tournament that began in 1939. Composed of 68 men’s college basketball teams across the U.S., the highly-anticipated competition determines the National Champion through a series of single-elimination games over three weeks. The tournament format follows four regional brackets with teams ranked from one to 16, plus an additional eight teams competing to claim the last four main bracket slots during the First Four Games. For the 2025 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, the First Four games start on March 18 and 19, followed by the First and Second Rounds between March 20 and 23, Sweet Sixteen on March 27 and 28 and Elite Eight on March 29 and 30. For the fifth time, the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas will host the Final Four and National Championship games, on April 5 and 7 respectively.

  • Men’s NCAA Basketball - Frist Round

by BJRH3 on 3/21/18Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl San Diego State University - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

The venue at San Diego State was fantastic. The games were exciting on Friday and less so on Sunday. The San Diego area offers a lot of things to do when not watching the games.

Another amazing first round in Dallas Texas.....that arena was magical and the fact that there were a couple of teams from Texas made even more of an exciting event. The NCAA when placing teams should always try and place a couple of teams within a short distance at that venue. It just makes it more exciting and special when the place is full. I have been going to the NCAA basketball tournament for a very long time...almost 20 years I believe and again placing teams as close as possible to that first venue is a big plus for the tournament. The venue was great. I was given great seats which is how it should be done for people that have supported this tournament for years. It truly makes you already prepare for next year's games. I still hope one day that some of the first rounds can return to venues on the campuses of universities. I think it gives those students, fans and the communities the opportunities to benefit their communities from the revenue that is brought in. I do realize that the NBA/Hockey Arena's generally are larger and you try and get as many people as possible, but still I think that needs to be looked at especially for universities that have as large if not larger arena's than the NBA. I also wish not so much piped music would be played so that those teams pep bands get the opportunity to showcase their skills. The city of Dallas was excellent in hosting this event...wish there had been food trucks maybe available between sessions because finding a place to eat was a little difficult with everyone looking for somewhere to eat but overall from the staff, volunteers...I would say it was one of the best I have attended.

  • Great Venue, Friendly Staff

by PapaFort on 3/20/18Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent venue - clean and friendly helpful staff answering questions about the amenities at the venue. Great sightline for basketball - just wish more lower level seats had been available when the tix initially were available for sale.

  • First and Second Round Of NCAA Tournament

    by Bone47 on 3/20/18Spectrum Center - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

Other than my Tar Heels losing in the Second Round, I had a marvelous time at The Spectrum Center during the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament. The event staff was very helpful as well as friendly and there was plenty of accessible, affordable parking nearby. My seat for the event was on the top row and the climb up was kind of steep, but other than that and the Tar Heels losing I had a great time. I actually got to see history made when 16 Seed UMBC upset 1 Seed Virginia. UMBC and Texas A & M had some gorgeous girls on their dance teams too.

  • Great weekend of Basketball!

Great weekend of basketball at Little Caesars Arena, Not a bad seat in the house.

  • Great Experience

by Buddahbelly on 3/20/18Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Great venue, staff was very accommodating. We had a minor medical issue which made it difficult to sit in our purchased seats. An usher named Glenn helped us get accommodated not just once but for both games. A gentleman named Chad was super as well. We flew in from VA for the games and saved the whole trip for us. Would do again in a heart beat.

  • March Maddness at the American Airlines Center

by Edfromvirginia on 3/20/18American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

Had Platinum tickets for March Madness First and Second Rounds -- the venue is amazing -- and I've been to a number of "club level" venues around the country (Amway Center in Orlando last year). The seats were good (wider and had a little more cushion than regular seats) but not like other "club" level seating where you get "semi-business class airline" type seats (1/2 star off for this one). However, the décor in the hallways, bathrooms, crown molding, can lights and bathrooms were very clean and nicely appointed. Food selection was good but limited -- although we spent a lot of time in one of the restaurant areas with great seating and plenty of TV monitors in between games -- they served soft tacos and flat bread pizza. Needed a carving station - it's there but was not staffed !!!!! We are carnivores !! Bottomless soft drinks and popcorn. Would definitely come back next time in Dallas.

  • AAC Mens BB

by PaulieT on 3/20/18American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

There is really not a bad seat in the house. The games were very competative. They could have lowered the price of ticketsand done more live look ins to other games but all in all a great experience.

  • Great Venue

by CincyBearcat on 3/20/18Spectrum Center - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

Great place to watch an event. Concourse areas allow plenty of room for walking around. At 6' 3" wish there was more legroom. Only issue at the NCAA games was the public announcer. Either the speaker volumes weren't high enough or his voice was not loud enough. Hard to hear what he said. We were in the lower part of the upper deck.

  • NCAA First/Second Round Action

by WayneMR on 3/20/18American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

We were fortunate to draw some great games in Dallas and the venue was a great place to watch. The workers there were exceptionally friendly and helpful. There were adequate concession workers and no long lines for food. All in all, a very nice venue to watch sporting events.

The first 2 round games of the NCAA March Madness are INCREDIBLE! The ENERGY of the teams is second to none. Little Caesars Arena is an awesome facility and did a FANTASTIC job turning over the arena between sessions 1 and 2. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Great games and great venue, great city for the event....................

  • March Madness always fun

by tfine on 3/20/18American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Like the AA arena. I got my seats thru TM. Good deal. Used a promo code. I was able to get another ticket w/o promo code unfort but the seat was only a few spots away. Anyway, I love college hoops and March Madness is the best tournament in all sports. We watched 2 buzzer beaters Loyola over Miami and Tenn. I saw 4 games on Thurs and 2 games on Sat. So many fans wearing different school colors. TT had many fans. The concessions were OK. Even tho the Dallas Mavs play here No alcohol at NCAA events. One bummer - only one place showed games on TV - it was at Burger Bar. The arena should show LOOK IN games all over in the lobby or concession areas. I am not a smoker but glad they had a smoking area outside to get some air. Love College Hoops!!

I was very disappointed in the selection of teams and times of games at this venue. I do not like the 2 day venue and prefer a 4 day venue.
