    Frozen Four Semifinal was Thrilling!

by RaysnBolts on 4/12/16Amalie Arena - Tampa

Both semifinal games were exciting, and the North Dakota-Denver game had list-minute heroics. Neither team deserved to lose, and the third period left everyone drained. The seats were superb and well-priced.

    ncaa regional hockey games

by hockeylife on 4/11/16U.S. Bank Arena - Cincinnati

The games were excellent. The arena for the most part was nice, the glass around the rink especially around the penalty boxes was absolutely terrible. You could not really see thru the glass and had to watch the game on the overhead big screen to see the action at the far end of the ice.

    An exciting evening on ice

by RaysnBolts on 4/10/16Amalie Arena - Tampa

There's nothing like a collegiate championship for excitement, and the Quinnipiac-Boston College game lived up to the promise. The seats were great, the crowd was enthusiastic, and the Amalie Arena venue was superb.

    Hockey tournament disappointing

by veryunhappyattendee on 3/31/16Times Union Center - Albany

When the tournament was held in Albany in years past I complained to management to no avail that the ventilation system kept blowing cold air down on the stands throughout the games. The situation did not change again this year. It was cold and annoying. Also I was extremely unhappy that the NCAA set a policy of not allowing re-entry between games on day one. I could not attend the later game and was set to allow friends to use the tickets for the later game. There should be some provision made for this case.

    Hot Hockey, Cold Arena

by OhioHockeyMom on 3/30/16U.S. Bank Arena - Cincinnati

The games were great, prices were reasonable and the concessions improved (but pricey!). But there was a near constant cold wind blowing down on the fans in many of the lower bowl seats- happened to us last year too. We are use to cold arenas for hockey, but the cold wind in the US Bank Arena was really unpleasant and frankly unacceptable for paying fans! Fix that and you've got a good thing going.

    Times Union Center

It is a good arena and venue for hockey but was disappointed in the low turnout for the NCAA Hockey Regional games....

Missing the Fans, but still Fun

by JoanFanatic on 3/30/16DCU Center - Worcester

The great thing about college sports is student fans. Unfortunately not playing on a home rink means no fan-antics, and very few students of any kind. This tournament is geared for the serious hockey fan and the TV audience. School spirit is lacking. As is attendance. Here's the fix, Each regional event of 4 teams should be hosted by the #1 seed on their home ice. Then you get all the excitement of the college students, and if the other teams are from the same region, then you get the rival fans at the event as well. In other words, what the tournament needs is 4 regional Beanpots! Now that's hockey.

    NCAA Hockey Regional final

by mikeP on 3/30/16U.S. Bank Arena - Cincinnati

The game was excellent, even though Michigan lost. I was really disappointed with the venue. For a Championship event, I would expect a higher quality of venue. The glass around the rink looked like it was never cleaned. The food quality and vendor product was garbage. The building needs a facelift.

    Great Weekend in Cincinnati

by Schultzwheat on 3/30/16U.S. Bank Arena - Cincinnati

The town was amazing. Lots to do before and after the games. The Arena was right in the middle of all the action and close to restaurants, bars and other attractions. The Bengals (NFL) and Reds (MLB) Stadiums were located along The Banks too.You could stay around "The Banks" for entertainment or cross the bridge over the Ohio River to Northern KY and go to "The Levee". Parking was easy as well. The games were very enjoyable. I don't have one complaint except I didn't get to eat more of the Cincinnati style Chili from Skyline Chili !!!!!!! Hope it returns next year to Cincinnati because we had a good time.

    Great Hockey Experience

by ohiospartan on 3/30/16U.S. Bank Arena - Cincinnati

Excellent games both days. Great view of the action and the games provided a lot of excitement. It would have been better if the entire lower bowl had been full, as there were times the energy in the building seemed to be lacking. Hopefully the NCAA continues to bring back tournament hockey to Cincinnati.

    Road to Frozen 4 Regional....Awesome

by Jaywils on 3/30/16U.S. Bank Arena - Cincinnati

Not a bad seat in the house, good food, wish beer was served. Having North Dakota and Michigan there made for a better environment.

No better hockey than college playoff hockey!

    by SLPG1 on 3/30/16DCU Center - Worcester

Best level of hockey play in the area - and no place better to see the games than DCU center. Easy to get to, park, great seating, clean facility. Only sad part was must have been a lot of providence families/fans that did not show up, as prime seats (that showed as sold when I bought my tickets) were empty at the game. Saw similar thing last year. Has to be a better way to run the ticket sales so that does not happen.

Times Union Center is a great place to have NCAA Division 1 Men's Ice Hockey Regional. It is easy to get to and offers great views of the ice surface. I was here in 2010 as well and everything was the same as how I remembered it. Concessions have good variety and are well when compared to similar sporting events.

    Games were way too late

    by DVP24 on 3/30/16DCU Center - Worcester

I understand that the Regional has to accommodate 4 teams but it was the Northeast Regional. The idea the Northeast Regional final went of at 9PM EST did not help those who attended or those viewing on TV... only the networks.

    NCAA "LEAST" Regional

by hammerinhorde on 3/29/16Times Union Center - Albany

The NCAA sent the No. 1 overall team, but even though they won twice, they played uninspiring hockey both days. There was hardly any star power, with only 6 total players on the 4 rosters who were NHL draft picks. The West had 17, the Northeast had 29 and the Midwest had 37. Heck, 7 other teams in the tournament had more than 6 on their own rosters. No tradition either. 3 of the 4 teams didn't even play D-I hockey when the arena was built in the early 1990s. They played the Regional final on Easter Sunday, so the place was practically empty. If we hadn't ordered the tickets in advance when they first went on sale, we would have skipped the event altogether.
