  • NCAA Regional Ice Hockey

by NCAACollegeHockeyFan on 3/29/16U.S. Bank Arena - CincinnatiRating: 3 out of 5

I thought the venue in Cincinnati was not very good. The city shuttle bus service ended before the games were over. We parked across the Ohio River bridge because parking at the arena was $20.00 and parking over the bridge was $3.00. This was a walk of about 1/4 mile. We did not see any advertising about the event which I thought the city of Cincinnati should have promoted. Entry was difficult. The games were good.

  • regional game

by Newjerseyhockey on 3/29/16Times Union Center - AlbanyRating: 4 out of 5

2 great semi finals.. both teams evenly matched and there was no quit in any of them. First game was 4-0 but played 1-0 for most of it there was no giving in for RIT [ good job boys ]. empty net at the end for the Quinapeaak team …..Second game was 1-1 then 2-2 and then OT to settle it Yale and UMass Lowell left it all on the ice..Only one complaint seats were tight for a person 6'1'……section 119 row Q…I will come back though …….

  • Not worth it

by Blue1580 on 3/29/16Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 1 out of 5

An hour between games, limited concession options. Crowd atmosphere was weak. Wont be back. At least let me bring my own food and drink if I can't get some dang ice cream!

  • NCAA West Regional - bad setting for the tournamen

by Pearlearl on 3/29/16Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 2 out of 5

The NCAA needs to find a venue that would make the tournament more intimate. Sitting in the Xcel Ctr that holds 20,000 fans and there only being maybe 4000 at the first game and 1500 at the championship didn't make it a good setting. Then there was the fact there was very few vendors open for business at the event. Plus they weren't selling beer in the venue. I probably won't attend another Hockey Regional, not a good experience.

  • Great hockey - no reentry unacceptable

Arena was completely unprepared for the hungry fans on Saturday locked in by the ncaa.

Arena was not filled. Top Tier was blanketed. I will be going back for next years games. Overall a good time.

  • Great Hockey!

There is nothing like playoff hockey. The action is constant.

  • Great Games - Iffy Seats

    by Jeffzz0a on 3/29/16U.S. Bank Arena - CincinnatiRating: 1 out of 5

I bought the NCAA semi-tournament playoff seats months before any teams were announced. TM's automated seating selector gave me two seats right in the first row, center ice, behind the home team. Great seats I thought. But they were the worst seats in the house. The players and coaches stood up through-out the whole game blocking any view of the play field. So we changed seats. To upper deck seats behind the goals. The seats were OK+ but were much cheaper than the prime real estate seats I paid for. I like TM. But they should know their venues and know their sports. Front side seats behind the players are terrible seats. I wouldn't know that. They should.

Great game! DCU Center is a great venue and rolled out the red carpet for teams and fans.

  • NCAA Regional Hockey

by CHFan29 on 3/29/16Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 4 out of 5

My sons and I are dedicated college hockey fans, including attending the Frozen Four each year. First let me say there is no better hockey venue then the Xcel and we saw three good games. However we bought are seats with NCAA priority and ended up with high blue line seats with one seat partially obstructed...ridiculous. This for an event that sold about 4,500 tickets. Lower prices, avoiding Easter, and better TV coverage would help. We had three relatively nearby teams in the tournament including UMD, SCSU, and UND with only SCSU assigned to St Paul. With St Cloud losing in the first round the finals attendance was pathetic. Great event that needs to be re-thought.

  • Xcel center disappointed

by retired999 on 3/29/16Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 2 out of 5

Compared to the previous time the west region tournament was held there, this time was disappointing. Few concession stands were open, the upper level restaurant was closed so you lived on bratwurst for 7 hours on Saturday. If the event is held there again, and the restaurant will not be open, we will not attend.

  • West Regional Hockey????

by Souixsie on 3/29/16Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 1 out of 5

Very poor when only 1 local team ended up in regional. Kind of entertaining to start until the drunk SCSU fans came down to the SCSU scoring end for the overtime. Best thing was it only lasted 18 seconds and they could go to their cars and head back up 94 for home. Without any local flavor it was very boring hockey.

The event was well organized and overall definately worth the money.

  • NCAA Men's Ice Hockey West Regional Semifinals

by Sparkyman13632 on 3/29/16Xcel Energy Center - Saint PaulRating: 2 out of 5

The arena was only 20-30% full for the first game, and about 10% for the second game. Only a few concession stands were open and the Iron Range Grill was closed. Only junk food to eat. The NCAA could lower the $52.50 per ticket price and get a lot more people in the stands.

  • NCAA Men's Hockey was incredible

  • Eagles Soar!

  • College hockey is great ... the NCAA sucks

    by smb1941 on 3/28/16DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 5 out of 5

NCAA controlled the "jumbotron". First day they showed no replays, even of goals. Day 2 they showed some, but not all. Easy enough to show their ESPNU feed ... but no, instead showed promos for NCAA. Will still go next year but this juist makes me despise the corrupt NCAA even more.
