2018 NCAA West Regional Hockey Tourney

by dakotaspike1 on 3/27/18Denny Sanford PREMIER Center - Sioux Falls

Venue is terrific. Great sight lines from everywhere you might sit. Not enough concessions open. Passageways very difficult to travel because they are so narrow. Worse yet near concessions that are open, lines virtually block any cross traffic. As usual, not near enough rest room facilities- men's or women's. Parking exits are a bit problematic.

Parking at Denny Sanford Premier Center

by BBhockey on 3/27/18Denny Sanford PREMIER Center - Sioux Falls

We attended the hockey regional game at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. The building is very nice but the concourse is a bit narrow for the number of people that can attend an event there. There were no people directing or controlling parking when the event was over. The stop lights were not being controlled either. There was no traffic allowed to come from the venue down N. Western Ave. but the lights continued operate as normal. That caused traffic delays leaving the venue.

Great event at a Great arena!

by jgbark2 on 3/27/18Denny Sanford PREMIER Center - Sioux Falls

The NCAA Hockey Regional in Sioux Falls was an unforgettable event for my son and I at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. The facility is top notch from top to bottom, the building is sparkling clean, and the staff makes you feel right at home. The sight lines are incredible and there is more than enough room in the seats to be comfortable. The hockey was absolutely fantastic! Congrats to Minnesota Duluth and good luck in the Frozen Four. I hope that Sioux Falls can host this event and maybe even a Frozen Four in the future because they were a great host.

    Hockey was great, venue sucks!

by JVMCT on 3/27/18DCU Center - Worcester

It was easy enough to get in and out of the DCU Center and the hockey was great. The venue sucks, however. The sight lines in this arena are terrible. The NCAA should find venues with steeper stands that can accommodate a regional. One that comes to mind is the Hartford Civic Center (XL Center) which has much better sight lines. Even in the lower sections, you miss a lot of action. If you must go to DCU Center, try behind the goals. I'll bet it is definitely better.

I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Easy to get in and out.

    West Region Mens NCAA Hockey

by worthing on 3/27/18Denny Sanford PREMIER Center - Sioux Falls

The venue was amazing. The event was fantastic to see in person. I do wish the NCAA would have informed us that there would be no alcohol sold at the event.

Great venue, great games, people were friendly

by puckdog on 3/27/18Denny Sanford PREMIER Center - Sioux Falls

Games were very close (4-1 seams lopsided but because of 2 empty nets). Great atmosphere. Teams played very hard, there was one winner crowned but there was truly 4 champions in the tournament. The Denny Sanford Premier Event Center was nothing but class. Good food, nice people, hope to see it back there some day.

    College Hockey Regional

by MitM22 on 3/27/18Denny Sanford PREMIER Center - Sioux Falls

First time attending any event at the Denny and wasn’t impressed. We prefer to sit in the top deck of arenas to get a full view of the ice, was disappointed in how obstructed our seats were. We had a few seats that couldn’t see through the railings and wires. Also had people come sit in front of us who’s seats were unable to see over a set of tables doing the radio call.

NCAA Frozen Four Regional Webster Bank Arena

by CHFFF on 3/26/18Webster Bank Arena - Bridgeport

The Webster Bank Arena seating is fine and the concessions are fine. The parking was convenient. The cement floor walkways and cement floor seating area need a serious power wash. They are very dirty. The Ticketmaster fees are way over priced. The NCAA should re-evaluate who they use for ticketing.

    Love College Hockey

by Tbone79 on 3/26/18Webster Bank Arena - Bridgeport

The arena has upgraded its sound and video equipment since my last visit. That was good. Seats are decently comfortable and sightlines are good.Parking situation isn't great.

    Love college hockey

by Relator on 3/26/18Webster Bank Arena - Bridgeport

The arena is the perfect place to watch hockey...especially college hockey. Great teams, terrific pep bands (mostly) and fun talking to all the spectators who come from all over to cheer on their teams. Bridgeport and the arena are the places to be! Kids love it!

    Northeast Regionals Semi

by Teddy1495 on 4/5/17SNHU Arena (formerly Verizon Wireless Arena) - Manchester

The atmosphere was great. The staff and ushers were accommodating to our needs. The access to the arena was great even thou we came from the back side there is a back entrance. Traffic was tough this day due to two other events in the area but we left ourselves plenty of tine to see the first puck drop.

    Good hockey, Bad Traffic

by Ithaca1985 on 3/28/17SNHU Arena (formerly Verizon Wireless Arena) - Manchester

Like most fans, I missed most of the 1st period of the Cornell - UML game due to horrendous traffic. Apparently, there was a road race nearby and the traffic management was awful. The arena is 1/2 mile off the highway but it took 45 minutes to exit. Most parking garages were full but there was parking on side streets, if one could get there. Nobody from Manchester PD or the arena staff directed traffic as it crawled off the highway. Use a satellite lot, or express buses! It was amateurish, at best. I arrived at the arena in a foul mood. zero stars for Manchester PD and SNHU Arena 2 stars for the play of my alma mater, Cornell 4 stars for the UML, ND and Minn

    Great Hockey

by PCinthePW on 3/28/17SNHU Arena (formerly Verizon Wireless Arena) - Manchester

This was exciting high level, intense, collegiate hockey. I enjoyed the games more than I expected, even more than I enjoy pro games. I have two criticisms though. The $40 ticket price seems reasonable. After all you get to see two games. However, if the price was less the NCAA would attract more fans. Especially since only one team was anywhere near local. As it was the crowd was disappointingly sparse. The second disappointment was that the NCAA didn't allow beer to be sold. There was beer but only in the suites.Come on. This is hockey!

    NCAA Hockeyn Norteast Regionals

by SJBongi on 3/28/17SNHU Arena (formerly Verizon Wireless Arena) - Manchester

Have been to regional's and Frozen 4's all over the country. Building is very dated. Terrible scoreboard/video. Mediocre concessions. Staff and employees very friendly and helpful. Only good thing was the proximity to my home and team.

Great game between two good teams

by RaysnBolts on 4/14/16Amalie Arena - Tampa

It was my first NCAA Frozen Four National Championship, and it was worth waiting for. The seats were good, the Amalie Arena venue in Tampa was outstanding, food opportunities were interesting and different, and these combined to make the evening one to remember It was fun being around ardent fans from North Dakota and Quinnipiac, whose enthusiasm was contagious.

    Amazing!

by KGSTYLES on 4/13/16Amalie Arena - Tampa

It was a great arena and a great time. The food selection wasn't all that great but what was available was good. The big screen is a BIG screen. The laser light show was nice. Parking is manageable and not a bad seat in the arena.
