Game was very good. Not a bad seat in venue.

by Suesteveg on 3/28/23SNHU Arena - Manchester

Parking nearby was affordable. Bar/restaurants nearby. Worst part was the slowness of processing people to get in by the staff at the venue. Staff was ill-prepared for everyone arriving 10-20 minutes before start of game.

    Exciting action

by Jack L on 3/27/23SNHU Arena - Manchester

You never know what kinds of games you'll get when you go to an NCAA hockey regional, but those of us who attended the three games at the SNHU Arena were lucky enough to get two great games and one that was entertaining for two periods. I had never been to this arena before, but it's a nice facility that suffers from the usual issue of not enough restrooms. I'd say it was a good experience overall with lots of exciting action on the ice.

    Manchester Regional Concerns

by HockeyFan on 3/27/23SNHU Arena - Manchester

Not allowing fans to exit and re-enter the arena between games on the first day of the Regional was very disappointing. Food options in the arena are quite expensive and not particularly high quality. I tried to find out the re-entry policy in advance by e-mailing SNHU Arena a couple days prior to the event, but received no response. Second, adding an additional day to the Regional schedule makes it much more difficult (and expensive) for out-of-town fans - three nights in a hotel can be cost prohibitive. Based on their fan unfriendly policies, it seems that the NCAA is subtly encouraging fans to watch on TV vs. attending in person (as evidenced by the poor attendance at this year's Manchester Regional).

    Ncaa hockey regionals

by Justin on 3/27/23Total Mortgage Arena - Bridgeport

I enjoyed rhe experience of seeing the ncaa hockey regionals in Bridgeport. The seats were good value& they had many fine concessions. Parking was steep$28. Concessions inside arena do not accept cash, that's disappointing

    Puck drop

by Mwar93 on 3/27/23Total Mortgage Arena - Bridgeport

2pm puck drop is too early for students and traveling fans to get to. I went Bridgeport and Manchester. BU, Cornell, and Merrimack all had travel issues with classes or traffic to get to the games. You need to make then 4pm & 7pm puck drops for better day 1 gate protection

2023 NCAA Fargo regional first round.

by Mike on 3/26/23Scheels Arena - Fargo

Scheels is a nice but small arena. Holds just under 6,000. My one big disappointment was the parking. Unless you prepaid parking in advance, you had limited parking options at best. Non prepaid parking was horrible and you had to park away from prepaid. For such a small arena, they needed to do much better! Other than that, there isn’t a bad seat in the house.

Best since ‘13 Yale upset of Quinnipiac

    by J. C. on 3/29/22MVP Arena - Albany

Near perfect executed gameplan/system by Minnesota State that rivaled rhe 2013 Yale upset of Quinnipiac in the FF Final that year. Rarely, regardless of the level of hockey, do you see such execution.

    Great hockey arena

by JFT2 on 4/4/18Denny Sanford PREMIER Center - Sioux Falls

I had not been to a hockey game yet at the Sanford, only concerts. We had seats in the upper deck on the center line, and the view was great, other than the team media table obscuring one corner. Hopefully the West regional will be held there again, it's an excellent hockey venue.

Where's the Beef (and all the other food)?

by HungryHarry on 3/27/18DCU Center - Worcester

The games were great, the seats were good, the company was great. But I have never been more unimpressed with food (the quality but even more unbelievably the availability) at a sporting event in my life. And my expectations aren't high in that environment, as I expect low quality food at a high price. But I am resigned tot that fact. With two games starting at 1:00 and 4:30 respectively, we were in the stadium for 7 hours. At 2:00 after the first period, we went down to get some food and beverage. At that time, they had already run out of virtually every food item at multiple stations, including pulled port, steak and cheese subs (even potato chips). And this was on Saturday, with another game on Sunday. Whoever placed the food order missed the boat totally on these games. We go every year to the regionals (usually Manchester or Worcester), and this was the worst experience I have ever had.

    Premier Center, Sioux Falls, SD

by HockeyFanFargo on 3/27/18Denny Sanford PREMIER Center - Sioux Falls

Food Service was bad, and the venue is poorly designed. Between games it took 45min in line with maybe 15 people, then another 15-20 min to get food. They were not prepared at all. Very disappointing, worst experience I've had anywhere before. Also, a bunch of the ketchup bottles were filled with barbeque sauce and vice versa. Was someone sleeping that day? We told food people, but they didn't fix it...still that way the next day. Venue concourses are small and crowded. Near impossible to get through when a food station is backed up, which was often. Probably won't attend another event there.

    NCAA Hockey Regional

by KingstonMD on 3/27/18DCU Center - Worcester

I'd have to think long and hard about attending an event at this tired facility. Exterior and entrances seem to be redone but restrooms, hallways and concession areas have much to be desired. Seats were adequate but the corners of the event area look like a bad retrofit... can't imaginehow I'd feel after sitting in one direction and viewing event in another.

    Hockey was great

by CLanBU on 3/27/18DCU Center - Worcester

Sight lines from the back of the 200 sections are completely obscured by the upper sections. The bathrooms are not evenly spaced out, and concessions staff seemed largely unfamiliar with the ingredients of any of the food items, which is concerning as someone who has food allergies.
