Very much enjoyed our trip to Seattle and the Key Arena for the NCAA volleyball final four. The arena was perfect, not a bad seat in the house!
The volleyball matches were very special. Young women showed unbelievable athletic ability. The facility was unacceptable. Concession stands we're not open even though there was a capacity crowd. The stands that we're open we're poorly run with unacceptably slow service. Key arena should never be allowed to host an event with that attendance level. They are incapable of servicing such a large crowd.
I enjoyed it, but of course since the University of Washington was involved I would have liked for them to have done better and advanced. I did go to the championship match although I did not really care who won. It was well run, although I did not go to the different things that they had around the arena concourse.
Exciting event to watch. Only issue with venue is that it is in difficult part of town to get to and find parking.
Great event! Made our daughters year!! Thank you! We were very excited to come and watch this once in a lifetime event.
Did not like Seattle too cold and venue was hard yo get to. The rail system was nice opyion but they only had 1 ticket person both days of play. Didnt they know it was going to be busy?
Excellent event and activities!. The volleyball matches were played at a high level.UW next year.
Nice price for 3 matches and the quality of the seats.
Texas obviously threw the game so it wasn't as fun.
Unbelievable Play On Both sides Of The Court. Great Time For All.
I came from California to watch the 2011 Women's Volleyball Championship. Being a season ticket holder at Stanford and Cal I am used to watching high quality volleyball. The games were outstanding. USC v. Illinois in the semifinals was a phenomenal match. The two teams went to a tie breaker and the match finished with the longest rally in NCAA Final Four history. In the end UCLA was very strong and won the National Championship.
The Alamodome is an excellent venue for all types of sporting events and there is so much to do within walking distance in San Antonio. The final four teams were amazing and any of them could have won it all.
It's so good to close and can't see the game during by the rails next to me. One day It will better!!! I'm still going to event no matter what. I would love to go!! ENJOY and JOY smile
This was a awesome volleyball game myself and my girls love it ,now there dream is to be in the NCAA divison I volleyball championship winner.
The venue and the event was amazing. The only criticism I have is that they have more t-shirt stands in the future.
Great place for such an event. Good location for team fans who stayed downtown.
Never been to Alamodome but it's a great experience and fun city to host big events! hopefully there will be more sports events held by Alamodome!
Our tickets were on the side with the temporary seats. Our view was good, but those sets are small and the large man (not huge or obese, just a big guy) seated next to me was hanging over into my seat and I was uncomfortably wedged in my seat.
The volleyball was great! The venue was not prepared for the people. they did not know how to answer basic questions and ran out of several food and drink items. The tickets were supposed to include a t-shirt, drink, and hot dog. They ran out of small and medium t-shirts, so the two young girls that we went for were highly disappointed. Also, the hot dogs were barely cooked and tasted like cardboard. They did not have enough condiment stations, so lines were extremely long for all of this. We are huge volleyball fans and that part was great. I think they should have it at a venue that takes them seriously.
This was my first NCAA Volleyball match to watch in person so it was amazing!!! The level of play was amazing...Thanks you UCLA and Illinois!!! I was like a kid in a candy store!!! I love the game of volleyball and you made my trip worth it! Also it was so nice that it was in San Antonio, which was only a 3 hour drive for me...otherwise i would have been able to attend. Thanks to the city of San Antonio and the Alamodome...great job!
